Hello Defenders of Ithaca, We’ve been working hard on the new major update since our last update, and we are excited to tell you that the wait is almost over.
While we are polishing the update, here are some of the cool new features you can expect:
New Game+ Mode
You’ve beaten the story, but want even more of a challenge? Or you are so good at defending, that the game is too short for you even on the hardest settings? In this update, you will be able to start a New Game+. Expect more enemies, more weapons, and new mechanics.
Elite Enemies
In the new mode, there will always be a chance that an enemy will become an elite enemy, significantly stronger than the average enemy. But don’t worry, there will be extra help available. For example…
Forge
Have you already maxed out your army? With the forge, you can upgrade them even further, making them stronger to withstand the massive waves of monsters.
Craft
You will be able to combine equipment, improve its stats, and even select which skills and perks you want.
Prime Items
You have a chance to get these from Elite Enemies. These items will grant you new passive skills.
Balance
We are tirelessly working to balance the game, so you can expect some balance fixes for enemies and troops.
And much more! This will be the biggest update since the release, so make sure to follow us on all our channels!
We've been listening to your thoughts and questions regarding Cloud Saves, and we want to assure you that we're actively working on bringing them back very soon. Today's update primarily focuses on balancing the game, but we've also included numerous bug fixes. Thank you for your continued support and patience.
ENEMY
Normal Enemy
Harpy's healing reduction rate to hero increased from 50% to 100%.
Talos Boss
HP reduced from 42,000 to 39,000.
All resist reduced from 80% to 60%.
Damage when hitting the red spot deals 20% more damage.
Fire aura damage of the second and third phases reduced from 7 to 6.
Fire aura interval of the second and third phases increased from 0.4 to 0.5.
Stheno
Fixed the bug where Stheno was being stuck or disappearing after transformation.
ARMY
Blue Phalanx
Shield bash stun duration of levels 2, 3, 4, 5 increased from 1.5/1.5/1.5/1.5 to 1.5/1.75/2/3.
Shield bash damage of level 5 increased from 100 to 150.
Regeneration of levels 3, 4, 5 increased from 3/3/3 to 3/4/5.
Shield bash now off cooldown when deployed.
Block heal chance of levels 3, 4, 5 increased from 30%/35%/35% to 100%/100%/100%.
Block heal amount of levels 3, 4, 5 increased from 30/40/40 to 30/40/50.
Block heal cooldown of levels 2, 3, 4, 5 reduced from 3.5 to 2.5.
War Technique Rough Defender now also works on ranged enemies.
Added a new effect for War Technique level 5 Protection: Once Protection occurs, reduce the cooldown of Block heal to 0.3.
Protection's duration increased from 3 to 4.
Protection's chance increased from 20% to 25%.
Protection's cooldown increased from 9/8/7 to 13/12/11.
Red Phalanx
War Technique Avoid chance increased from 20% to 25%.
War Technique Avoid duration increased from 1.3 to 2.5.
Barrel
Stun duration of levels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 increased from 1.5/1.5/1.5/1.75/2 to 2/2.25/2.5/2.75/3.
Vase stun duration of levels 3, 4, 5 increased from 1/1/1 to 2/2/2.
Barrel slow percentage of levels 0, 1, 2 increased from 25% to 30%.
Fixed Rotten vase area duration being shown to only work for 1 second.
Palisade
Stone palisade disarm duration of levels 3, 4, 5 increased from 2/2.5/2.5 to 3.5/3.5/3.5.
Stone palisade disarm chance of levels 3, 4, 5 increased from 25%/30%/30% to 35%/35%/35%.
Both Stone palisade and Spike palisade level 5 now push enemies back and deal damage after being destroyed.
Blue Archer
Damage of levels 3, 4, 5 reduced from 30-35/40-45/55-60 to 27-31/33-37/45-50.
Red Archer
Killing-stacks of level 5 changed the effect: Now the stack lasts permanently but added max stacks. Each stack gives 5% AS and 5% attack damage, max 10 stacks.
War Technique Lyssa's Visit each stack gives 8% AS and 8% attack damage, max 15 stacks. The first stack still gets double the effect.
Musician
Added new effect Musician level 4 and level 5: Now Musician also sings the Last Song when an ally dies (except Palisade) but only works on that lane. Effect stacks.
The Last Song from the Musician himself still works on all allies on the battlefield.
Last song chance when Musician himself or an ally dies increased from 20% to 100%.
Cooldown when singing for ally's death is 3 seconds.
War Technique The Last Melody duration increased from 4/5/6 to 6/7/8.
Fixed the bug where Musician causes the game to be stuck when fighting with Stheno and causes allies and himself to be stuck at 0 HP.
Witch
Healing Pulse cast range of all Witch levels has been increased
HERO
Perk
AGILITY - Sword Mastery perk range increased from 20% to 30%.
Weapon Skills Helmet
Savagery stamina per kill has been greatly increased.
Duration of all rarities rescaled from 8/10/12 to 10.
Fixed Savagery not showing cooldown and stamina cost.
Tenacity damage and crowd control immunity duration increased from 6/7/8 to 8/9/10.
Warcry fear duration increased from 5/5.5/6 to 5/6/7.
Conversion cooldown reduced from 2 to 1.
Veteran Proficiency cooldown reduced from 2 to 1.
Sword
Decimate Slash stun duration per slash increased from 1.5/2/2.5 to 3/3/3.
Aero blade stamina cost increased from 35 to 100.
Aero blade cooldown reduced from 7 to 1.
Spear
Penetrating Spear cooldown reduced from 25 to 20.
Shield
Fixed Encage doesn't work.
BUGS
Fixed a large amount of major and minor bugs in general.

We're excited to announce the release of version 1.4.7, which includes a hotfix addressing several issues. Here's what you can expect:
Difficulty levels now work independently with each save file.
You can now place a new wall over an existing one on the first level.
You can now right-click (or press "X" on the controller) to remove an upgrade for the army and reclaim the coin.
The time needed to hold the button to upgrade an army has been reduced from 2 seconds to 1 second.
On the gamepad, the game is now paused when you are deploying or disbanding your troops.
Additional fixes for gamepad soft-lock issues.
Minor fixes for the Chinese language.
Resolved more null exceptions that were discovered.

Resolved the problem of gamepad information overlapping with weapon display.
Implemented a significant update: upgraded the Unity base from 2020 to 2022.
Addressed a bug causing FPS drops on certain PCs, which has been thoroughly tested and confirmed by players.
Corrected the display issue at 720p resolution on 2K scenes.
Solved the problem where some PCs were displaying heroes' skins as pink.
Added multiple methods to protect user save files.
Fixed the issue where the Red Witch was preventing the game from ending in area 2-3 of Chapter 3.
Updated localization for improved language support.

The latest update to Legendary Hoplite is here, providing you with a major bug fix update.
Important
If you still encounter issues with FPS, soft-locks (game pauses), or blurriness when using 2K resolution, please first verify that you have the latest version of Legendary Hoplite (v1.3.3).
To verify your version, simply open the game, select your character, and once you're on the world map screen, look to the bottom right of the screen, the version number can be seen there.
If you are on v1.3.3 and still have this issue, then please can you re-install your game. This is a step that we have tested with numerous people and has been proven to reliably fix the issue.
Note: Uninstalling and re-installing the game should not remove your game save files, however, we still recommend that you create a manual backup before you do this. Your game save files are located in:
\Users\\AppData\LocalLow\TripleBricks
Important: The AppData folder is hidden by default, if you cannot see it then you will need to change your settings to see hidden folders by:
From file explorer click on File (top left of the screen)
Select Change Folder Options
Click on the "View" tab
Make sure that the option for "Show hidden files, folders, and drives" is checked.

Hot on the heels of the update from yesterday, we're back with another update, and this time it's bigger and better!
We want to thank everyone for the feedback, both positive and negative and we thought the best way would be for us to push forward the start of our event to TODAY!
Presenting the Legendary Hoplite Lunar New Year Event!
Special menu for the lunar new year.
Special missions that are active only in the event, miss them and they're done.
Complete the tasks for a very special weapon, obtainable only via this event!
This event will run until the 18th of February 2024.
That's not all, we've also released some major balancing adjustments, bug fixes, and difficulty improvements.
Bugfixes
Fixed all suspected causes of the crashes and soft locks. Important, we are closely monitoring this situation, we do hope that we've solved it once and for all, however, we will respond quickly should we get any more reports.
Fixed a bug that caused Stheno to be immortal when it was killed while transforming.
Fixed the HP of the minotaur.
Fixed a bug with the Cetus summoner being invulnerable after being defeated while petrified.
Fix a bug that caused the Minotaur's Descendant's HP to flicker while being hit.
Fixed an issue with the root skill being far too large in specific situations.
Balance Improvements
The enemy's health is now dependent on the game's difficulty settings.
The difficulty modes have changed:
Normal mode (the default difficulty) is now easier, the enemy health has been reduced (25% reduction) and the player's gate is stronger (50% health increase).
Hard mode is now what the original normal mode was.
Casual mode has been removed entirely.
Insane mode has been added to the game.
Added a difficulty choice that appears at the start of every location.

As mentioned in a post earlier this morning, we were made aware of a few rather serious bugs. As such, we've been hard at work sorting them out.
We're happy to announce that we have identified the causes of the various issues and have released a hotfix.
In this new version: 1.1.0 we have:
Bugfixes
Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash when the player exited/ended a match very quickly.
Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash during the Golden Fleece (sheep) level.
Fixed a bug that caused issues with the controller/gamepad when you received a weapon as a reward.
Fixed a bug that caused the video hints to not play on the Steam Deck.
Fixed various game issues that triggered when the player mouse hovered over an item
Fixed various causes of soft locks and crashes when using the controller. Important This issue is not fully fixed, we are unfortunately aware of a few more crash/soft lock situations that result from the controller. We are working to fix them as well.
Fixed various causes of the soft lock during the tutorial
Fixed a bug with the "Defensive Parry" ability that would cause the game to soft lock (the hero would freeze in the idle mode).
Fixed various issues with the Russian translation
Fixed various issues with the Vietnamese translation
Various other backend fixes and optimizations to prevent game crashes.
Game Balance Changes
The ability "Vigor Taker" no longer appears on the Heavy Spear and the Super Heavy Spear
Reduce the Minotaur's Descendant's HP from 33000 to 30000
Reduced the Minotaur's Descendant's red slash damage from 65 to 55
