Len's Island
Patch 0.5.21
Update 0.5.2 is now available for Mac! We've also fixed some issues with crits, controllers and more.
+ New additions and changes this patch:
Added boat anchors that automatically anchor a boat when it's moving in a current and you stop steering. (This is to stop runaway boats from taking rides of currents leaving you to drown lol).
Made critical hit indicator render in front of all geometry so it's more clearly visible.
Buffed titanium pickaxe stats to be accurate, it was incorrectly set to wrong damage amounts.
! Bugs and issues resolved in this patch:
Fixed issues that made critical hits not always register.
Fixed interaction distances being too far away on controller, causing issues accidentally selecting items instead of attacking.
Fixed player movement being locked to 45 degree angles on controller when WASD scheme was selected in the menu.
Finally fixed Steam achievement issues.
Fixed broken abilities on titanium hammer and claymore.
Fixed Mac rendering issues on some GPUs causing items in the game to flicker disco colours.
Fixed various little spelling mistakes across status effects and items.
Enjoy the patch, and thank you for the patience Mac users!

Last patch before Christmas 0.5.054
Hey all,
Another quick patch to address some bugs that crept in. I'm sorry for all the crazy patches this past few days. We are a very small team that have been worked to the bone trying to get the game perfect for all of you. We are competing under very small timeframes and can't get every issue addressed each patch.
I'm usually of the mind that getting more patches out quickly to address as many issues as we can is still better than waiting longer to fix them all at once.
We hope you all have a fantastic end of year, see below for the patch notes
~ Julian
+ New additions and small changes this patch:
Woodsman Wood Wrecker can now cut down hardwood trees.
! Bugs and issues resolved in this patch:
Fixed issue causing people to level up several times at once.

Fixed description for flour in resource menu.
Mini Patch 0.5.053
Hey all,
Just a quick patch to resolve an issue that made all the building pieces and decoration items unlock for some people. It's all resolved now. If you managed to log on over the past hour or so and got a bunch of stuff unlocked, Merry Christmas!
We're also currently tracking down an issue with unlocking several skill points at a time and will have a patch for it soon.
Festivus Update 0.5.05
Len's Island has opened it's very first Festivus!
What is a Festivus you say? It's a holiday for everyone, an update for the rest of us.
Festivus adds a new limited-time only decoration shop into Bridgewater, Festive Frank's!
Sorry about the hiccup with this patch going live everyone, it's been a long day... All is fixed now and your save files should load as expected.
Festive Frank's will be open for two weeks, selling a few special items to decorate your home with. These items can be bought with with in-game gold, at his shop. Festive items will stay unlocked even after the update has ended, in the future we will make special items will also sync across all of your save files. For now they unlock per-save-file. Festive Frank's is just a small shop at the moment, his shop will re-open every time we celebrate a festival or event, with more and more items added to his shop every time.
(No special event items will ever be purchased with real currency, screw that)
We also added several new non-festive decorations, such as kitchen wall cabinets, small floor benches, large curtains and small curtains.
Along with some fun new items to keep you occupied, we have bundled in many bug fixes, balancing tweaks, performance improvements and more. See below for a details changelog of all of the changes in this update.
We have been working to the bone for months to get out this update and release daily patches since launch. In case you didn't know, there's only three developers working on Len's Island. We will be taking some time off over Christmas and the new year to catch up on sleep and focus on our health. If needed, we can release a patch after Christmas to fix any urgent issues, otherwise the next update won't be until mid January.
There's a lot of exiting stuff planned for next year. Now the game has been remade with the Uncharted Waters update, we can go full steam ahead with weekly and monthly significant content updates, and constant patches. 2023 is the year Len's Island is going to go bonkers with progress, so buckle in for the ride!
Have a great end of year everyone, and thank you for all the support and love <3
~ Julian
