1.24 hotfix
We ran into an issue with pivots on the latest release and picked that opportunity to improve a few things!
changes:
pivots are fully working again
you can no longer pivot during a powerup sequence with no character movement
the keys to cycle through outfits are now E & T (to avoid conflict with the default steam overlay shortcut)
the maximum ranked score was lifted (as players are matched by division and score inflation has effectively been slowed down)
Grid wins the vote! Or does he?
The outfits for Grid win by a small but decisive margin! This one could truly have gone the other way, if just a few Merchranger supporters had picked Nitro instead. But it seems these outfits aren't Grid at all ...
Who is this then?
Back when Grid entered Shine City in hopes of expanding System's territory, he decided to set up a power provider telemarketing scam company 'Quality Output'. It was not to last, because the Shine City Police quickly busted the operation. To his surprise, Grid was standing face to face with his long lost brother Volt, now 'agent Volt' of the police's High Charge Devastator Unit. The two were well matched and to Grid's advantage, the ensuing fight destroyed all evidence and caused a city wide blackout.

New update, ranked season and DLC outfit go live this weekend
Heads UP!
The new update, ranked season and DLC outfit will go live on Sunday after the anniversary tournament. https://steamcommunity.com/games/553310/announcements/detail/2899713886456550640 The update brings several gameplay changes and fixes based on the feedback survey. First and foremost improvements to Dust & Ashes' special:
it is overall easier to control
it is faster on the ground
and it has more options from the air
On top of that, ground and wall movement has been improved for all characters.
You can get a head start on the new ranked season by playing in the beta. Your achieved division will carry over into the live build. (you may need to join our discord to meet up with other players for that)
