If you own the original Letter Quest on Steam, you now own Letter Quest Remastered too - check your Steam library! If you don't see the game, you may have to log out of Steam and log back in, but it should show up automatically.
Enjoy the game!

Letter Quest Remastered releasing soon!
Letter Quest Remastered is coming to Steam at 4 pm PST today, August 5, 2015!
Letter Quest Remastered will be free for all existing owners of Letter Quest! All we ask in return is that you consider leaving a review for the game to help us get some visibility, and tell your friends and family about the game. :)
I recently posted an announcement with some details about the new Letter Quest Remastered release that is coming on August 5, 2015.
I wanted to let everyone know that Letter Quest Remastered will be completely free for everyone that owns Letter Quest. I hope everyone enjoys the new features and changes in Letter Quest Remastered, it's been a six month labor of love, and I'm really happy with how it turned out!
Every time you finish a game in the new endless mode you will get a custom image showing the details of how you did. I hope to see some awesome scores and amazing words posted once the game is released. Here's an example image to show you what I mean:
Letter Quest Remastered will support Linux right from day one! It was completely rewritten with Unity, and should support all resolutions and run super efficiently! I'm able to get a solid 60 fps on my 2008 MacBook that has a built-in Intel graphics card!
All of the enemies are now animated as well. :)
Oh, and there's a brand new soundtrack from a really talented musician. It's not a remastered soundtrack either, it's completely new, from scratch! I've also included the original soundtrack, in much higher quality than what I could do in Letter Quest (since it used Adobe Air), and you can switch between them in the options menu.
There are lots of other changes too, and I'll be posting more updates as we get closer to the release date.
Cheers!

Bug Fixes:
Fixed a bug with the sixth set of letter tiles where the letters were too far down on the letters, and looked really broken when on a flipped tile
Fixed a store bug that could cause a crash in really rare circumstances (thanks to the person that reported this and helped me test the fix!)
Several small bug fixes
That's it for now! I want to say a huge thank you to everyone that has tried Letter Quest, you're all awesome! :)
Letter Quest Color Blind Update v2.4.1
This is a minor Letter Quest update with a few bug fixes and, as requested by a few players, a change to make the letter tile rarities identifiable by players that are color blind.
Instead of each letter just having a single dot in the bottom-right that is bronze, silver, or gold, there is now 1-3 dots that are still in those colors, so that letter rarities can be identified by either the color, or the number of dots. Hopefully this helps out the color blind players! Please let me know if there's anything else that needs changing! :)
Changes:
Letter tiles now have 1-3 dots in the bottom-right to indicate letter rarities (so that color blind players can identify the letter rarities)
Bug Fixes:
Fixed a crash bug if quit/restarted a stage while a treasure chest was being destroyed
Fixed a bug with the final level of the "more gems from defeated monsters" book being a downgrade instead of an upgrade
Several small bug fixes

Letter Quest Update
Hi everyone!
So far it seems like everyone has really been enjoying Letter Quest, and that is so great to hear! A huge thank you to everyone that has helped out by pointing out issues, missing words/incorrect definitions, and helping to solve problems - you guys (and girls!) are awesome!
I just released an update, see below for details!
Changes:
Added over 200 new words to the dictionary
Updated incorrect/weird definitions of almost 300 words in the dictionary - thanks to everyone that pointed these out!
Whenever at the pile of gems at the end of each stage, the bottom-right panel explains that you earn more gems by spelling longer/better (more rare letters) words since this wasn't made clear before
Added details about the bronze, silver and gold icons on letters to the center tile's help icon
Grimm and Rose now flash colors much more slowly (and less harshly) when low on health, since the frequency of the flashing was causing issues for people with epilepsy (sorry about that, please let me know if it's better now!)
Changed description for "healing item" for the in-battle merchant to be "bacon" to avoid confusion
Changed the description for achievements and quests for merchant items to specify "merchant items in-battle" to avoid confusion - these items must be purchased from the merchant that is encountered during battle, not from the main shop in the menus
Lowered requirement for "spell 5000 words" achievement to "spell 3000 words" since 5000 was much too high - looked at global achievement stats and leaderboards to figure out what a fair value would be. Thank you to everyone that participated in the discussion that led to this decision!
As detailed at the end of the announcement, replaced two of the letter tiles with easier-to-read fonts
Bug fixes:
Fixed bug where sometimes toggling between windowed and fullscreen with the hot-key wouldn't properly update the in-game UI for the selected resolution
Fixed bug where attempting to equip a book when all unlocked slots were already filled would show a dark overlay that only covered part of the screen - now it correctly covers the entire screen
Fixed bug where the click handling for "click to continue" popups didn't cover the whole screen sometimes, so clicking near the screen edges wouldn't do anything
Fixed crash bug where leaving a battle while at the in-battle merchant and then pressing TAB, SPACE, or ENTER would cause the game to crash
Also, some people were having issues with the readability (or lack thereof) of a few of the letter tile sets, so two of them have been updated:
