The project itself was super important and personal for the Different Tales team, as the game writer Marta Malinowska said during the speech at the Paszporty Polityki Awards: “This is a game about rage, and about turning it into something good. I want to dedicate it to all the people who took their anger this year, took to the streets, and decided to do something about the surrounding reality.”
During this year, we have been improving the game experience for the PC players - we've released a free goodies pack here on Steam, and later on added the support for the Steam badges, backgrounds, trading cards, and emojis. At the beginning of this year, we've released the game for the console players on Nintendo Switch, Playstation, and Xbox platforms... and maybe in the future, there will come another platform the game could be released on ;)
We're also super happy that after the release of Heart of the Forest so many players got the ability to know more about "Werewolf: The Apocalypse" from the World of Darkness. With the release of "Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood" game, "World of Darkness: Crimson Thaw" comic (did you heard about it? It looks super cool!), and soon the release of fifth edition of the tabletop RPG - we're sure the different flavors of each will make its fans and expand the imagination of another generation around the whole world.

Wanderlust: Travel Story - let's celebrate together the game's 2nd anniversary!
Hello travelers from so many different and unique places around the world!
We're super happy to be able to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of Different Tales' very first game - Wanderlust: Travel Stories. It was a real pleasure and a very experiencing journey for us all, as it was our (Walkabout Games) first published title as well!
We would like to thank all the players that have joined this journey in the comfort of their own homes playing the game on their PC's or during travel - while playing the mobile version of the game, or trying it on a laptop or handheld like the Steam Deck that will soon hit the market. Thank you for trust, believing in our vision of Slow Gaming, and supporting our teams even so long after the release.
We're super proud of what we've managed to achieve working together on this title, and what have came afterward (just see Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Heart of the Forest). We want to share with you, that our friends at Anshar Studios just released their cyberpunk isometric RPG - Gamedec! You need to use your wits to gather info from your witnesses and suspects, get to the bottom of deceptive schemes, save lives, and investigate the extraordinary relationships between virtual worlds and their inhabitants.
As it's this time of the year - rainy and cold outside, it's a perfect occasion to cover yourself with a blanket, have a warm cup of tea, and relax with a session of some really good RPG. And you know that we love cyberpunk vibes, so we highly recommend checking Gamedec out!

How the time flies, huh? It’s now exactly one year since the release of LIBERATED!!!
The emotions from launching the game last year are still deep in our hearts, and due to this wonderful occasion, we would like to thank you - the players of our game for the trust given to us and for your honest feedback.
Thank you for joining us on this wonderful adventure, and what an adventure it was during the last year - not only we have released the PC version of the game with lots of enhancements from the original Nintendo Switch release, additional free story DLCs, and digital goodies, and even released the Japanese version of the game on Steam thanks to our cooperation with DMM.
We also scored a couple of really important awards. The game was chosen as the Jury Selection of the 24th Japan Media Arts Festival, we won the Silver Tencent GAMES WITHOUT BORDERS Award 2020, and received the award for „Best Art” at Brazil’s Big Festival this year! Liberated wins "Best Art" Award at Brazil's BIG Festival!
And here it is! We won the "Best Art" Award during this year's edition of Brazi's Independent Games Festival!
In this year's edition of the BIG Festival, Liberated was nominated in 3 categories, including "Best Narrative", "Best Art", and even "Best Game"! The competition was really great - so congrats to all of the indie winners out there from all around the world!

We couldn't be more proud to see Liberated winning this particular category - receiving the trophy for "Best Art" is true proof, that our artists are the best in the world! PS. Receiving the award wasn't an easy task to do live on the Brazilian TV - as it was around 3:30 AM in our country. But fortunately, two dozens of cups of coffee combined with the hefty dose of adrenaline managed to keep up not to fall asleep during the night. Below you can see tired (but really happy!) Adam, who was thanking for receiving the award ;)
