Life in Willowdale: Farm Adventures - Quality of Life and Content update
Dear villagers of Willowdale,
We have just released a new update, consisting of the frequently asked about rain feature. Now rain is no longer a bad thing, but something to celebrate!

Four new crops added: Artichokes, Cranberries, Asparagus, and Beets
New skill added: Precision Sowing
Rain now waters your plants, no need to water them during the rain!

Four new crops have been added
Artichokes, Cranberries, Asparagus, and Beets. These seeds can be purchased from Pahi Patel’s shop.
Precision Sowing
This newly introduced skill allows the user to plant multiple seeds at once, similar to how tools can be charged once upgraded.
Rain
Rain can occur at least once a month, excluding the winter season. If your crops are planted and haven't been watered, the rain will change their state to watered giving you time to explore the other activities in Willowdale!
This free update will be released on consoles soon as well!

Life in Willowdale: Farm Adventures – More languages added
Hey farmers,
We’re happy to inform you that more languages are now added to the game. You can now play Life in Willowdale: Farm Adventures in Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

Life in Willowdale: Farm Adventures - Out now!
Bring in the harvest this year in Willowdale! Publisher and developer Mindscape, in partnership with publisher Just For Games and developer FRAG Games, have released their farming-adventure game Life in Willowdale: Farm Adventures physically and digitally on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and also on Steam.
Life in Willowdale: Farm Adventures features farming gameplay, a cozy town filled with friendly locals and adventures across the region. In addition to farming, the game will have social mechanics, combat, co-op play and much more to make for a family-friendly, engaging and fun experience.
Danger and adventure are always right around the corner in Willowdale. Fight fearsome foes such as the bewildered Outraged Ottis, secluded in The Forgotten Forest or Grumpy George in the Mighty Mountain. The town of Willowdale is surrounded by four Wilderness zones: Flower Fields, Forgotten Forest, Death Desert and the Mighty Mountain, where you can discover and defeat a big boss at the end of each zone.
In Life in Willowdale: Farm Adventures there are 12 BFF characters, each with their own unique ability, and you can take 2 with you when you venture out into the wilderness. So choose wisely! If you prefer to team up with your actual BFF for local co-op play, you can do that too, but only after completing the first five quests. By working together to take care of the crops, rear and care for the animals and going out scouting, you can bring Willowdale back into working order in no time flat!
October 25th is the final release date for Steam PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5
Hello future villagers of Willowdale,
We are sharing a quick update regarding the release date for Life in Willowdale: Farm Adventures. We have set a final release date for October 25. Since we have unexpectedly had to move the release date we have done some additional polish and bug fixes.
Now it won’t be long now before you will be growing your crops, taking care of your animals, meet the villagers of Willowdale and face of in one of the four wilderness zones.
With this update we like to take the opportunity as well to tell you something about how cooperative play works in ‘Willowdale’.
Cooperative gameplay is unlocked once you finish Quest 5 ‘Advanced Tips & Tricks’ (quest name different depending on language) and you talk to the Mayor. Beyond this quest the game opens up for local cooperative play. Now, together with your BFF you will be able to take care of the crops and the animals on the farm, traverse the town and combat dangerous creatures in the wilderness zones!
To play in local co-op you need to connect two controllers.
Important to know:
Cooperative play takes place on the same screen
Cooperative play cannot be started on Keyboard
Player 1 can chose to play on Keyboard once the co-op player has joined
Disconnecting any one the two controllers will end co-op
The user needs to connect 2 controllers for both Player 1 and Player 2
Lastly, while the game is playable using keyboard, Life in Willowdale: Farm Adventures is best enjoyed using a controller.

Prepare for harvest! Life in Willowdale: Farm Adventures reaches Gold Master!
Amstelveen, August 18th, 2022 – Mindscape, in partnership with publisher Just For Games and developer FRAG Games, announced today that Life in Willowdale: Farm Adventures has passed final certification and will launch on September 27th for Switch and PC, with a launch on PS4 and PS5 following on October 18th.
Featuring farming gameplay in a cozy town filled with friendly locals, as well as adventures across the region, Life in Willowdale: Farm Adventures is now available for pre-order on the Nintendo eShop or physically at a local retailer near you.

Once such a lively country town, Willowdale is in chaos. The mayor’s daughter dislikes the countryside and wants to transform and modernize the town, but now the animals are neglected and the villagers no longer feel at home. The mayor and townspeople need your help to restore Willowdale to its former glory. Set up a bustling farm, construct buildings and make friends with the colorful villagers while also setting off on adventures to rescue and bring back animals that have left.
The game will launch on Nintendo Switch, and PC for Steam on 27th September. The game will launch on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on 18th October.

We are pleased to announce that Life in Willowdale: Farm Adventures will be releasing on September 6th for PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5!
The new trailer shows combat against a variety of wild and extraordinary creatures. The combat is accessible for everyone and provides players the challenge to land a Perfect Attack or Perfect Defend when encountering enemies.
Unlock party members, each with their own unique skill, and earn their friendship to create the dream team for your playstyle. If enemies begin to overwhelm you, use your Ultimate Attack to unleash a devastating combo!
