Lifterium explained!
The Liftoff team is excited to launch the next big hype in crypto; the Lifterium coin! Powered by the combined processing power of more than 300.000 virtual flight controllers, Liftoff will be mining for Lifterium while you fly in Liftoff. The Liftoff team has taken great care to limit the impact on your gameplay experience, you will hardly notice the impact on performance, we promise!
To motivate you to get those virtual flight controller juices flowing, we have hidden virtual coins in all Liftoff levels. As a thank you to your financial contribution, collect all the coins in a single environment, during the next 24 hours will award you the "Fools Gold" achievement. Happy mining!

DJI FPV now available as a free DLC
LuGus Studios, creators of the Liftoff™ drone simulator series, and world-renowned drone manufacturer DJI are teaming up to bring the ultimate FPV drone experience to Liftoff: FPV Drone Racing.
As part of a temporary Downloadable Content pack (DLC), the DJI FPV drone and related products are made available to download and fly in the virtual skies of the Liftoff™ world. This optional DLC is completely free for anyone with a copy of Liftoff: FPV Drone Racing on Steam.
The DJI FPV system is a flagship product line created by drone technology innovator DJI. Their new DJI FPV drone system combines the power of first person drone flying with their established hi-tech camera systems. They have achieved this through an unparalleled commitment to R&D, a culture of constant innovation and curiosity, and a focus on transforming complex technology into easy-to-use devices.
The team at LuGus Studios will honor those achievements by providing an equally powerful and easy-to-use digital twin. In Liftoff: FPV Drone Racing, DJI FPV fans can now practice flying in normal and manual mode in a safe simulated environment.
Due to ongoing events in Europe, we have decided to update the name of the "Russian Woodpecker" environment to simply "The Woodpecker". Being set in Ukraine, we felt this was an appropriate name change. We have also decided to stop the ongoing tournament in that level, called "Radio Active" earlier than originally planned. Thanks for understanding.
Our thoughts go out to the people affected by these events.

Disabled Vulkan on Windows
We have noticed some issues that got reported are related to Vulkan rendering, and do not occur with the standard rendering. We have now disabled Vulkan rendering as an option for Windows. We are hopeful this might eliminate a lot of issues for people.
