As usual, we were busy listening to users and making updates to improve the game. As long as you support us, we will keep continuing working on it. ^^
Here are some improvements we made for this week.
1. Added "Forfeits" to Statistics. Some users were abusing "Early Quit" to keep the Win stats. With this update, it will no longer be possible. There will be "Forfeits" stats and also "Matches" count will increase to lower your Winning Ratio. So, we recommend not to quit in the middle. However, Forfeits won't apply when you are observing and playing against AI.
2. Initial loading improvement: After you login, sometimes, "Quick Match" won't respond to button click even though it's enabled. This patch will fix the bug.
3. Server improvement: We fixed few bug and optimized the servers.
4. Increased Bonus for playing Matchmaking : +100% EXP, +100% GP

Due to a popular request and Halloween season, we are going to give you an experimental Night mode map.
It's called SavannaFlu Noche!
It proves to be working well, we may bring Night mode to other maps. So please let us know.
Here is something you have to know to play Night mode.
To make the Night mode play fair for everyone, we force turned off Outline mode and fixed Graphics options to "Mid" and Brightness level to 2.0.
In addition, we also disabled Thermo Scope so that no one has unfair advantages.
Here are few other changes we made in this patch.
* MapBug: (SavannaFlu) Fixed map glitches that you can go outside of the map.
* MapBug: (United) Fixed a place where you get stuck sometimes.
* Removed German Special Weapons and Hangul Paint
* Fixed RandomBox where you sometimes get Characters from Weapon box
* You can check Rankings of other players from Profile View

We found a critical bug in the map yesterdays and this patch will fix it.

Second, here is to celebrate German Unity Day. A new set of rare weapons are available in Random Box for a limited time.
Third, today is also Korean Alphabet Day (aka, Hangul Day). You can find Hangul Special Skins in the weapon camo shop for a limited time.
Edit: Follow Player is actually Observe Player. You won't be able to play with the player but you can just observe the player in observation mode. We will add the real Follow Player soon. Sorry about the confusion
Fourth, one of the popular requests was to follow a player you want to watch. You can now right-click on a player and follow the player if he is in a room.
Fifth, to celebrate Hangul day and the Thanksgiving, we are bringing back Korean National Flag rare weapons temporarily.
Lastly, we also made several enhancements to the on-going Matchmaking updates. Here are the details.
1. You will be able to see Ranking Icons on the right side from MyInfo section.
2. You will get extra EXP and GP bonus playing games through Matchmaking
3. We fixed numerous bug and changed the invitation workflow little bit. There is Desired number of players and Minimum number of players. Matchmaking will try to find Desired number of players first. If it doesn't find but it meet Minimum number of players, it will still try to start the match.
That's quite a bit of update and we hope you continue to enjoy playing Line of Sight.

We are going to have a server maintenance for this week.
We introduced the new modeless Matchmaking last patch but it was rather difficult to get it properly tested. The reason is partly that we have fewer players to participate and its modeless(non-intrusive) workflow was not very encouraging for users to participate. To increase the chance of MM, we propose the following changes.
When you accept MM invitation, you will go to MM "Wait Others to Join" menu.
When there aren't enough players to join, it will send additional invitations up to three times to users in the Wait Queue, assuming there are users in the Wait Queue. And each time when it sends the invitations, we increase JoinBonus so that users will remain in the Join Menu.
That's it for now! We really hope it works better this time. Once it's proven that it works well, we will include more mode and parties. So please have little patience.
Other changes: "Quick Match" and "Server Browser" buttons will be disabled while loading data. (Some thought that unresponsiveness to the button click was a bug and to make it clear, the buttons disabled while it's loading data)
