this is a minor patch aimed at fixing a few critical bugs with premium items and advancing the Six-Month Anniversary Event to its second step.
We apologize for the inconveniences causes by the bugs to premium items and the long wait for a fix. As we've hinted a few times on the forums, we're preparing a very large update for all of you. It is scheduled to be announced in a few weeks and it will surely blow your mind! ;)
Also, due to the focus on the large update just mentioned, the Six-Month Anniversary Event has been advanced in a more plain way, without an in-game event connected to it.
Below is a detailed description of the patch.
CHANGES
1 - Tidrick Manabonk now exchanges Gnomish Forging Scrolls (plus other requirements) for Six-Month Anniversary Artifacts.
2 - Corrupted creatures no longer spawn in Legal areas, and the chance for a monster to be spawned as Corrupted otherwise is now 1/5 than before.
3 - The PvP aggro range has been increased to 15 to 20 tiles to account for the new zoom level implemented in the last patch. What this means is that a player has to be 5 tiles farther from its aggressor to be able to teleport, hide, etc.
FIXES
1 - Characters slots purchased on the PvE server are now functional. To be more specific, it no longer matters on what server a character slot expansion item has been used - unlocked slots are now account-based rather than server-based, so they count on both servers.
2 - The premium tools Map Staining Kit and Prismatic Crystal Tinter now work correctly.
3 - Items inside a Bag Of Holding no longer get their weight counted again after changing a realm and moving / equipping other inventory items.
4 - Fixed a bug that allowed players to enhance inner torso pieces to give them back some resistances. All existing inner torso pieces have been cleaned of mods and resistances again.
5 - Jorkrut The Craftsbuck now correctly requires Mushroom Silk Threads (instead of Mushroom Silk Cloths, which can't be obtained) as ingredient to craft the Sulfur Hammer.

Release 10 - Multi-accounting, Balancing, Store Items
Hi everyone,
this new Release is focused on three main subjects.
First of all, the rules regarding multi-accounting have been amended, and our control systems strengthened. We invite all of you to read them and to strictly abide by them, since we won't take any violation lightly.
Several new objects have been added to the item store. They provide some nice utility and progression bonuses, always keeping true to our philosophy of not selling power for money.
Last but not least, we have implemented other 20 changes, including balancing tweaks to PvP and PvE, changes to key world locations, and several other nice additions.
Below is a detailed description of the patch.
NEW MULTI-ACCOUNTING RULES
The rules on multi-accounting have been amended (again) in a stricter way in order to prevent the abuse of multiaccounts and let all players enjoy a fair competition with each other. The amended rules are available here, as always:
Before this patch, any player was allowed to have more than one character logged in at the same time as long as all of them were inside one of the owner's realms or in town. This rule has been replaced by the complete prohibition to have more than one account logged in at the same, disregarding the location of the characters logged in.
We shall remind you that if you own more than one account, you have to report it following the procedure explained here. Unreported multiaccounts will be punished.
Additionally, we've been informed of the widespread custom of password sharing within the community. We would like to remind you that password sharing is against the rules, as stated by point 13 of our TOS.
13. You agree to treat all the data associated to your account (username, password, etc) in a strictly confidential manner and not to disclose them to any third party or allow any third party to use your account unless you received a written authorization to do so from Mythyn Interactive.
Password sharing is not only against the rules, but it also puts your account in danger if your password ends up in the hands of a malicious person. Because of that, we have reinforced our control of IP addresses and we are going to start punishing all cases of account sharing.
All the changes listed above have immediate effect.
STORE ITEMS
We have expanded the range of Store Items available. The new items introduced are:
1 - Character slot. Once used, this item adds 1 character slot to the account. The maximum number of character lots for each account is 6 (the 2 default ones + 4 purchasable). If you have multiple accounts and want to merge them into one, you can email support@linkrealms.com and we'll carry out the process, provided that the receiving account has enough characters slots unlocked to receive the characters from the other accounts.
2 - Bag of holding. This magical bag can contain up to 30 different items or stacks of items (each stack counts as 1 item). All the items in the bag become weightless. The bag can't hold other containers.
3 - Dimensional box. This item is available only in PvE servers and can't be used while engaged in PvP combat. It allows you to teleport a stack of items of any size directly from your inventory to your bank. The Dimensional Box has 50 charges and can't be re-charged.
4 - Skill Gain potions. This item comes in three variations (1 hour, 1 day, 1 week). Once drunk, it doubles the skill gain rate of all your skills for the time specified. Drinking a potion when the effect of another is already running adds time to the total duration.
All the items listed above are offered with a 15% launch discount until the next patch! Enjoy!
BALANCING
1 - The Slayer modifier (on weapons and staffs) and the Enhanced Spell (on staffs) modifier are now harder to find.
2 - The balancing of Tailoring Contracts has been adjusted. Non-exceptional contracts now give twice as many beads as reward, while exceptional contracts give 40% less. Overall, the average bead gain per contract has increased considerably.
3 - The drop rate of bless scrolls has been completely overhauled. Bless scrolls can now be found in the corpses of all creatures with at least 2000 fame. The chance to find a scroll and its type depend on the fame of the creature. A recap can be found in this wiki page. Bless scrolls no longer drop on the PvE server.
4 - The total cap on Swing Speed Increase has been reduced from 100% to 50%.
5 - Fixed a bug to the Disintegrate spell which was dealing random damages (often very high) in PvE.
6 - The Raise Gravity spell now grants a 24 seconds immunity time to the victim from the moment it's cast on the victim.
7 - The balancing of several mobs has been adjusted for them to be more challenging. Specifically:
8 - The base damage of the Earthquake spell has been reduced of about 20%.
9 - The dungeon of Tartaros has been made harder so that it can properly fit its role of hardest dungeon of the game. On average, twice as many monsters need to be killed in half of the maximum time to trigger a step progress. Additionally, the monsters spawning in each phase have been reworked as follows:
Last but not least, monsters in Tartaros can no longer spawn as corrupted.
10 - The base movement speed of all player characters is now higher, both for walking and for running. Also, movement as a whole has received some tweaks to look smoother.
OTHER CHANGES & FIXES
1 - It is now possible to hide when being a Criminal.
2 - Mineral deposits now take half the amount of pickaxe hits to be depleted, but each hit rewards twice as many ores on average.
3 - Damage types dealt by spirits have been fixed. The now correct damage types are:
4 - The cooldown on all Field Generator store items has been heavily reduced.
5 - Enhanced Fire Fiend and Enhanced Heal Wounds can now be rolled as random modifiers on normal staffs.
6 - The dungeon of Tartaros has been moved to its final location - the middle of the Volcanic zone, at ground level (no longer underground). It can now be accessed from 3 neighboring realms, while the Hall of Tartaros (where the Artifact Smith lies) can now be accessed from within Tartaros.
7 - The dungeon Tunnels Of Deception has received a substantial overhaul. The entrance zone of the dungeon is now easier to complete, and players can free themselves from the "room traps". Plus, the treasure chamber of the dungeon now contains sensibly higher rewards. We shall remind you that this is still a dungeon target to low/mid level players.
8 - The Duel Arena is now always accessible from a gate right next to the Guildmistress tents outside of the walls of Riverbank.
9 - Fort Demise, a group-PvP arena, has been reintroduced. It can be accessed through a gate in the town of Ravenfeast.
10 - The default zoom level of the game is now further way from the character than before, allowing players to see much a much larger portion of the map.
11 - The entrance of the Void Castle, where the Shaman which cleanses artifacts is also located, is now a safe zone.
12 - The Last Target hotkey now only works for abilities and items that require targeting a creature or an object. It no longer works for abilities and items that require targeting a location on the ground.
13 - "Leech" modifiers have been renamed to "Hit Life/Stamina/Mana/Psi Restore".
14 - A message is now sent above the character's head when a Sorcery Skin is fully removed.
15 - The Volcanic zone in the Mythyn (PvE) server is now PvE-only as the rest of the world.

Release 09 - Minor Update (9.1)
Hi everyone,
this is a minor patch aimed at fixing a couple major bugs and exploits and balancing out some sides of PvP combat, both for warriors and for mages.
We'd also like to express our satisfaction with how the Six-Month Anniversary Event has been progressing on so far - lot's of action and exciting fights going on! Get ready for next week's events - to be announced soon!
Below is a detailed description of the patch.
CHANGES
1 - Weak Link has been completely reworked. It now adds a cumulative 15% of the weapon's base damage as Pure Damage for each consecutive hit within 12 seconds from each other. Unlike Empower, Weak Link stacks are accumulated by the caster, and are lost if the attacker switches target. There is no limit to the amount of stacks. The cost to activate it has been reduced to 15 Stamina.
2 - Ignore Armor now ignores 50% of the physical resistance of the victim instead of 100%. The percentage is calculated after debuffs are applied.
3 - The damage dealt by Fateful Lightning has been increased from 15-20 to 50-60.
4 - Damage per tick of Bleed has been increased from 4-8 to 6-8.
5 - Damage per tick of Hemorrhage has been increased from 5-8 to 6-12, but its duration has been lowered from 16 seconds to 12 (like Bleed).
6 - Crush Armor can now be re-applied against targets already under its effect.
7 - Colors when dead are now a lot brighter than before. This should be of great help for all players, and particularly to newcomers who had issues finding realm exists in the open world after dying.
8- Setting loot rights for cultivations in one's realm on the PvP server now actually protects plants from being harvested by unwanted players.
9 - There is now a 3.5 seconds movement paralyze time after relogging a character that hasn't been removed from the world yet. This change has been introduced both to prevent graphical glitches and to stop players abusing of relogging to get rid of special conditions in PvP.
10 - Each piece of heavy metal armor now raises the cap on physical resistances by 3% instead of 5%. Since there are no metal capes, the maximum cap reachable is now 85% instead of 95%. We shall remind you that having resistances at 85% instead of 70% means taking half the damage, and that resistances are counted above the final cap, which is relevant when being debuffed.
11 - Damage dealt by DOTs (Burn, Chill, Poison, Bleed...) applied against enemy players and monsters is now visible to the player who applied the DOT.
12 - There are now 2 instances of each Exalted spawn on the map at the same time instead of 1.
13 - The Rotten Mushroom event has been restored and now spawns in the Dead Forest. You can complete it to get a material required to craft the Sulfur Hammer.
14 - AOE spells no longer hit creatures inside of player realms without line of sight. This has been changed mostly to prevent players from casting Earthquake to kill creatures inside of the realms of other players.
15 - The damage dealt by Chill on the first tick has been raised and now also decays more slowly over time.
16 - We've started to add Battle Tactics to monsters to spice up PvE. As a test, Minotaurs can now use Crush Armor on their targets.
17 - The damage of Chain Lighting against subsequent targets is no longer reduced by 12%.
18 - The Pierce damage dealt by all Bolt spells from the Alteration school (Fire Bolt, Ice Bolt, Shock Bolt) has been raised from 6-8 (fixed) up to 30-40 at 125 Alteration + capped SDI and WIS. The magical damage dealt hasn't been changed besides for Ice Bolt, where it's been slightly lowered due to the buff to Chill.
19 - Frost Blast now always inflicts the most powerful Chill possible (10 ticks). Enhanced Frost Blast still works as before (chills on the first hit, freezes already chilled targets), but now also deals 20% more damage on hit.
20 - Emberskin no longer protects the caster from Ice effects, while Glacialskin no longer protects the caster from Fire effects.
21 - The Repeating Crossbow and its artifact equivalent Mechanized Crossbow now have Weak Link (better fit for a fast weapon) instead of Ignore Armor, while the Sleek Crossbow and its artifact equivalent Leafspring Crossbow now have Ignore Armor instead of Weak Link.
FIXES
1 - Fixed a bug that would cause characters of players with unstable connections to sometimes get out of sync with the server, being displayed in the client 1 tile away from their actual position. Please note that this fix is experimental, so you're invited to report any issue related to movement that might be arising from today.
2 - Fixed a bug that would cause players with unstable connections to sometimes get stuck while quickly changing realm multiple times in a row in the open world.

Development Roadmap To Spring 2017
Hi everyone,
the new Development Roadmap for Linkrealms has arrived! This time we're giving you a long-term overview on the future of Linkrealms, covering all the major features to be implemented in the next 6 months!
A word of warning: these are only the major upcoming features! Bug fixes, balancing and small additions (like new creatures) are not included!
Enjoy the reading and let us know of your opinion, suggestions, and criticism!
The Auctioneer
Get into the Linkrealms trading system and become a market leader with the help of the Auctioneer!
By double-clicking on an Auctioneer NPC, you'll be able to give him an order to sell or ask him to buy items for you, freely choosing quantity and price per item. All other players visiting the Auctioneer will then be able to buy/sell a quantity of their choice from your order, and you'll be able to claim the results of the transaction within one month. The Auctioneer won't take any commission for his job!
Region Control
Lead your guild to the dominion over the land of Syndesia with the new Region Control System!
With the Region Control System, the world will be expanded and split into several regions, each one featuring a unique realm (or group of realms), labeled Government Seat.
Each seat will become available for conquest at specific times, called conquest time windows. During the time window, any guild will be able to battle for the control of the seat. Once the time window is over, the winning guild will keep the incontestable control of the seat until the time window is opened again. The mechanics for seizing control of the seat and the frequency of time windows will vary according to the region.
The guild who controls the seat controls the whole region, and is rewarded for certain activities that take place in it. For instance, it could seize a percentage from the argents of all creatures who get killed in the area!
Hotbar
The hotkey system of Linkrealms isn't poor, it but lacks a couple key features, such as the possibility of using and equipping specific items. Moreover, it's not really intuitive for new players. That's why we are giving the game a modern Hotbar with a standard drag & drop functionality for adding items and spells and re-bindable shortcuts!
The 4 bars (life/stamina/mana/psi) will be moved in the top-left corner of the screen and made taller and easier to read, too!
Abjuration & Illusionism
Abjuration is a Sorcery school bound to add a huge tactical component to playing a Mage character. It includes spells that grant protection (or even immunity) from certain sources of damage for the caster and his allies, and allows removing combat enhancements, spell protections and magical effects from the opponents.
Illusionism is another feature-rich Sorcery school that allows a mage to conceal himself and change his shape and identity. Plus, it allows him to hurt his opponents by altering their senses, blinding, deafening and haunting them with terrifying visions that look real enough to hurt them.
Alchemy
The world could use even more resources drops, and character templates could use more secondary skills besides Rogue skills and the ever-present Spiritualism. The mixed crafting-combat skill Alchemy will be the first answer!
Empower and heal your character through a wide range of potions, or debilitate your opponent by throwing nasty substances at him! Beware though: only an expert alchemist will be able to use complex potions!
Daily Quests
Every day a new challenge, every day a chance to discover (or re-discover) new locations of Syndesia with a unique twist. Give a warm welcome to Daily Quests!
Daily Quests will be assigned by one of the upcoming High Officials of each town, and will be customized for each player. They will range from quite easy and concentrated in a single location to complex and touching different regions. The hardest ones will reward you with a very valuable prize never given out so far: credits for the Item Store!
Crafting Contracts
This one is a carryover from the previous roadmap. We are going to revamp Tailoring Contracts to create a system through which players with different tailoring expertise can obtain appropriate rewards. Moreover, we're changing how Dusts work, and making it easier to obtain the best ones. Last but not least, we'll add contracts for Blacksmithing too!
Release 08 - Minor Update (8.4)
Hi everyone,
the aim of this patch is to improve the visual feedback given to the player's actions in combat situations. For that to be possible, the visualization of damages, healing and special effects has been completely revamped.
Additionally, this patch solves a couple minor balancing issues to ensure a fairer continuation of the Linkrealms Tournament Season One.
Below is a detailed description of the patch.
CHANGES
1 - The visualization of HP changes (damage/healing) has been entirely revamped as follows:
2 - Special effects like crowd controls, buffs and debuffs no longer trigger long texts on top of the target's head. Instead, they trigger short messages visible to all players which use the same new font and logic of HP changes.
3 - The Death Effect of the Minotaur Spirit no longer raises the caster's physical resistances as if he was wearing a full set of plate armor made of steel. Instead, it adds a shield that absorb up to 80 weapon/fist damage (at 100 spiritualism). The damage absorbed is only that coming from weapon, staff and fist attacks, disregarding its type.
4 - Two other minor balancing changes:
5 - The Battle Tactics buttons in the bottom UI bar are now grayed out if the player is not skilled enough to activate the tactic, normal if the the user can activate it, and overlaid by a particle if the tactic is active and ready to be used.
6 - The way monster aggroing works has been redesigned. Creatures using a generic AI now stop following their target and head back to their spawn point only if the latter gets more than 16 tiles away. Plus, they will re-acquire the target if the latter comes in range again while they're heading home.
FIXES
1 - Skeletons no longer drop outdated cotton.
2 - The texts of the Tartaros quests that exchange Philosopher Stones for Volcanic Artifacts and the sign that displays the artifacts have been corrected.
3 - Bandit spawn rate in Ravenfeast reduced.
4 - Chain Lightning and Icicles can no longer hit hidden players.
Let us known what you think and enjoy Linkrealms!
Release 08 - Minor Update (8.3)
Hi everyone,
this patch is largely focused on improving PvP balancing and completing some missing combat features.
Most of the positive changes are target at the class now widely considered underpowered (and definitely underused at high levels): the melee warrior. The base DPS of weapons has been increased, and several melee Battle Tactics are now much more effective.
All the Death Effects of Spiritualism spirits have been implemented, and some of the existing ones have been revamped. Lockpicking is now a working skill (thus out of the global skill cap) to allow everyone to build effective PvP/PvE characters.
Last but not least, several other minor but very impactful balancing changes have been implemented.
Below is a detailed description of the patch.
CHANGES
1 - The base DPS of Severing/Mauling weapons has been increased by around 20%, while the base DPS of all crossbows has been increased by around 5-10%. For crossbows and Mauling weapons, the better DPS comes mostly from base damages being raised. For Severing weapons, it comes mostly from base speeds being raised.
2 - The damage done by Burst modifiers (Fire/Ice/Shock/Poison/Ethereal Burst Chance) and all abilities using them (e.g. Spiritual Weapon) has been decreased by 20%.
3 - Several Battle Tactics have been changed / made stronger, as follows:
4 - When you hold a weapon, its Battle Tactics now each have a dedicated button on the left side of the bottom UI.
5 - Mutant Melon Juice is now an alcoholic drink, while heal from Baked Turkeys has been decreased by 35%.
6 - Processed foods and drinks (e.g. juices, baked turkeys) no longer spoil with time.
7 - Blink now has a 8 seconds cooldown after being used.
8 - Lockpicking is now a working skill, therefore no longer included in the stat cap. The paperdoll menu has been adjusted consequentially. Lockpicking is also a lot faster to raise now.
9 - Spirit Death Effects are now triggered only if actively Sacrificed by the caster. They are no longer triggered when the spirit gets killed for other reasons.
10 - Several Spirit Death Effects have been implemented or changed, as follows:
11 - Cripple can now be re-applied on a target that is already crippled.
12 - Murky Ooze now deals Slash Damage instead of Pure Damage. However, the debuff it applies to physical resistances is now stronger (20% at 100 conjuration) and can stack up to 60% with subsequent Murky Ooze casts. The same applies to the debuff to Poison resistance from Green Ooze.
13 - Two small changes for new players: starting tools (e.g. Pickaxe) are now permablessed and it's possible to gain skill points up to level 70 (instead of 50) in town.
14 - All spell icons in the Sorcery menu have been redesigned, together with the layout of the book pages themselves.
FIXES
1 - Endurance skill bonus now correctly adds Poison resistance.
2 - Illusionism and Abjuration skill bonuses can no longer be rolled as random modifiers. They'll be back when the two skills are implemented.
3 - Trying to use heals while hit by Lethal Strike or frozen no longer consumes the item.
4 - The Stamp Mill is now correctly animated and be used only if on the ground.
5 - The Nimble Crossbow, the fastest type of basic crossbow available, now has a correct name and uses the correct model (instead of the Double Crossbow's one). All Assassin Crossbows, which were never meant to exist, have been turned into Nimble Crossbows.
6 - Cap to Spell Damage Increase has been correctly decreased from 40% to 20%. This was meant to be done long ago (as you could have understood from Wiki pages about Sorcery spells), but got left behind.
7 - It's no longer possible to use a pre-cast Blink spell when frozen/rooted/stunned.
Let us known what you think and enjoy Linkrealms!
Release 08 - Minor Update (8.2)
Hi everyone,
the aim of this patch is to cater to two of the most common requests of the Linkrealms community: better drop rates for Artifacts and more rewards for killing other players. Together with it, we have thrown in a few other minor changes and bug fixes while we work on big features to be announced in the new Development Roadmap (coming next week!).
A bug with Slayer weapons has been accidentally introduced in this patch. It will be fixed at the next server restart. Sorry for the inconvenience!
<-------------->
CHANGES
1 - It's now possible for Steam users to give a username, password and email to the Linkrealms account that is silently created and connected to their Steam account. Steam users who haven't set their account data yet are reminded to do so by a small icon located in the top-right corner of the screen. Completing account data makes it possible for Steam users to login to their account management page to connect their game account to a forum account, report multi-accounts, etc.
2 - Bless Scrolls now always add 10 Bless Charges to the target item and require argents to be used (5.000 for Common, 10.000 for Uncommon, 20.000 for Rare).
3 - When a player delivers the killing blow to another player, he is now awarded with argents for each blessed piece of equipment the victim was wearing or carrying. The amount is 250 argents for each Common piece, 500 argents for each Uncommon piece, and 1.000 argents for each Rare/Artifact piece. If the victim was an Assassin, the reward for the killer is doubled, disregarding whether the killer is an Assassin himself or not. Argents awarded are added to the killer's bank account.
4 - When an Assassin dies, he now always loses 2 Bless Charges per piece of gear, instead of losing 1/2/3 depending on the rarity of the piece and instead of losing them only if he is a Criminal.
5 - Artifact drop rates have been strongly increased for all kinds of artifacts (besides Jorkrut ingredients). All info on drop rates can be found on this wiki page. On average, drop rates are now from twice as high to 4 timer higher, depending on the boss monster.
6 - The list of armor pieces that drop in monsters has been expanded and corrected. The most significant change is the addition of Metal Armor pieces and the removal of pieces without properties (e.g. Inner Torso).
6 - Buttons of the bottom UI bar now display dynamic hints on their use on mouseover.
FIXES
1 - Fixed a bug that would force players to resize their game window to make the Transparency Circle work.
2 - The cast animations of all spells now always properly override the run animation.
3 - Fixed inconsistencies in characters allowed in usernames/passwords. This fixes solves a wide range of issues - for example, the inability to upload realms for all players with a whitespace in their username.
4 - Players with low-resolution screens are now able to see all editor menus (including the Upload Realm menu).
5 - Fixed several bugged particles/sprites such as Exalted Harpies, Frocks With Spiral, Deathwatch Pods, and others.
6 - Scale Armor Boots are now properly listed as Medium Metal Armor.

Release 08 - Minor Update (8.1)
Hi everyone,
this patch is largely focused on fixing a ton of bugs (some new, some quite old) and improving the FTUE (First Time User Experience) of Linkrealms.
As the game suffers from a quite low new player retention, making it easier to learn and more fun to play for new users is of paramount importance to us. In future Minor Updates we will keep rolling out tenths of bug fixes and tweaks (together with new features, of course) until Linkrealms is properly polished!
Below is a detailed description of the patch.
CHANGES
1 - Tailoring Contracts have been moved to a new NPC at the Riverbank Tailor shop and are now available without having to complete a few quests of the main questline.
2 - The main Riverbank questline has been tweaked in a few places (Loyal Scratch now given and explained together with the Rooster, some texts changed, rabbits easier to find, etc).
3 - Small improvements applied to tutorial area (better positioning of resurrection shrine, no use of Blink Sorcery spell, Skip Tutorial button present in second realm as well).
4 - Fixed Tin-Silver-Gold deposit type spawn rates in different environments.
5 - Quest Items are now permanently blessed, and the Rune of Ascension is always deleted when leaving the tutorial zone.
6 - Summoning a Rooster now requires 10 Psi instead of 15, but players must wait 30 seconds to re-summon one if it's been killed.
7 - The Royal Metal Armor set and Equip Slot Invisibility are now back in the Item Store. We shall remind you that any piece of equipment you buy from the store comes in the most basic material (Plain Cloth, Plain Leather, Iron) and with 0-Fame modifiers. You don't buy power, you just buy very good-looking items to be swapped with a Viper Mod Swapper. Equip Slot Invisibility can be only purchased and used in the Save (PvE) server.
8 - Random monsters now spawn in all realms of the world. The type of monster spawned is always chosen from a unique list tailored to the biome - so that, for instance, creatures that spawn in the Oak Forest are very different from the ones that spawn in the Volcanic biome. The world looks way more alive now!
9 - Poisoning plant spawns in the world have been made 2-3 times more common.
FIXES
1 - A few minor object glitches in Riverbank have been fixed (crops changed, old tomes for learning spells removed, etc).
2 - Plenty of text mistakes fixed in Tailoring Contracts (mostly related to wrong/outdated names of materials and items).
3 - Tailoring crafting tools can no longer be used to craft items equipped on the Inner Torso slot, and Tailoring Contacts no longer ask for them.
4 - Foundry menu now uses the correct text font and background color.
5 - "Open" hotkeys no longer bring up old menus (plus other minor glitches corrected).
6 - Several runtime save fixes (rubberbanding when already running at save start, no longer being able to move after save end, "Saving Server" messages moved below character).
7 - New players can no longer attack Assassins in town and can no longer receive AOE damage in Legal zones.
8 - Fixed an issue that would get players disconnected from the server when clicking spells in the Sorcery Spellbook in quick succession.
9 - Councilmen power to invite other players to join the guild now works correctly.
10 - Fixed a bug that would make new players start out with sound / music muted and (badly functioning) V-Sync activated.
11 - Fixed minor chat font glitches (numbers in dice rolls and emoticons).
12 - Mining and Blacksmithing descriptions in paperdoll updated.
13 - Fixed a bug that would make players unable to move after using a Telepad under certain conditions.
14 - Profanity filter fixed so that it no longer accidentally censors some words even if deactivated (it is inactive by default for new players).
15 - Each piece of Heavy Armor now correctly raised the maximum cap on physical resistances (Slash/Pierce/Crush) by 5%. Since no metal capes exist, players wearing a full Heavy Armor set can now reach a cap of 95% on their physical resistances.

Release 08 - Free To Play, Mining & Blacksmithing!
Hi everyone,
this patch brings live two of the most anticipated and rich features ever announced, making it the largest update Linkrealms has received so far!
Mining and Blacksmithing have arrived to change the face of Linkrealms crafting forever. A whole new Riverbank questline and the expanded tutorial zone have also been introduced to make it easier for new players to understand all the core features of the game.
This release also marks the final transition of Linkrealms to a Free-To-Play model with an in-game store. Say goodbye to upfront payments for Beta Keys!
Below is a detailed description of the patch.
As announced, there is no more need to buy a Beta Key or purchase the game on Steam to get permanent access to Linkrealms!
The game is now completely free to play both for users having a Mythyn Account and using our external client and for those having a Steam account and getting the game on the Steam store!
We will soon implement the possibility to merge Mythyn and Steam accounts through the Account Management page on our website.
MINING & BLACKSMITHING
Oh yes! They are finally live! If you want to get a brief recap of the system, please check out the official announcement post.
As of today, mineral deposits can be found as random events in the world (with better drop rates out of the Legal area), and in the Riverbank Mine. The latter is a unique cave for new players where very low-level minerals spawn very quickly, but gathering them is allowed only after completing a specific task of the new Riverbank questline (see next paragraph).
In the next patch we will diversify random spawns in the world and populate existing caverns.
NEW RIVERBANK QUESTLINE
We have entirely reworked quests for new players in Riverbank. The town now has a proper questline - that is, an ordered series of quests, instead of having several NPCs giving out two dozens of parallel quests.
Quests are always to be completed in groups of 3. Each group is assigned by Antoine, the Mayor Of Riverbank, but involves interactions with other NPCs. With the new questline, new players finally have the change to experience mob hunting, tailoring, mining, blacksmithing, cooking and all the core features of Linkrealms!
OTHER CHANGES
1 - The tutorial zone has been expanded to include a new room where players can learn how to produce and use heals.
2 - New characters now have custom stats according to the default skills chosen.
3 - If a player changes realm while being the target of another player, he can now do only one realm transition soon after the first (that is, he can go back where he came from). Any other transition is not allowed for a few seconds. This mechanic has been implemented to prevent players from jumping in and out of realms during PvP. Consider it experimental and subject to change according to your feedback.
4 - The game client now remembers the position of menus after they are closed and after logout/login. It also remembers the status of the mute music and mute sound options.
BUG FIXES
1 - Several bugs related to the new movement system have been fixed, including not being able to run upstairs without having to stop at each stair, characters getting stuck after realm transitions in a few special cases, and being unable to cast spells when the mouse cursor was hovering a menu or an item.
3 - Receiving any Physical (Slash/Pierce/Crush/Poison) damage now triggers Endurance skill gains. This change has been introduced to make Endurance easier to raise, as it used to be triggered by Poison damage only.
4 - Fixed a bug that would make the online player counter go negative.
5 - Guild icons around player names have been temporarily removed until we create proper icons for the new fonts.
