We've made some updates to LongStory to make it easier to play and share your favorite parts. Thanks to all the players who suggested these additions.
Speed it Up! Due to popular demand, we at Bloom Digital have installed a fresh new skip button just for you! This button allows players to skip over text until they reach the next dialogue choice.
Uh-Oh Undo Sometimes you make the wrong choice but why should you be stuck with it? Well now with our newest update we placed a back button to give you a second chance! You can use the back button to undo your most recent recent choice and return to the prior dialogue.
Save Your Faves Sometimes in life you just need to take a screenshot of what's going on to save the moment. In LongStory you can! With our newest update we have a built-in ability to take a screenshot (using the 's' key) so you can send it to your friends and ask what they think.
General bug fixes In our latest update we have included a number of bug fixes as well as security updates to ensure the latest and greatest and most enjoyable player experience.

First off we want to say thank you so much to everyone who has played LongStory and left us such thoughtful and interesting reviews. UGH some of them brought tears to our eyes.
Regarding some of the feedback we hear you loud and clear, an update with a skip button is in the works and we are working to figure out why the phone mode sometimes switches dialogue to the wrong speaker.
Other feedback about the story was appreciated, we definitely love how people felt it was true to life and gave you an opportunity to relive (for better or worse) how high school really felt instead of some air-brushed version where everything is perfect. That was our hope with the game.
For people who felt it didn't have enough of a dating sim vibe. That's totally fair. We tried to make it a good story even if you played it and decide none of the possible dating options were for you, but that means some of the heavy dating stuff isn't there.
In future seasons, especially as the characters get older we'll work on our ability to give more dating options and let the friend routes go do their own thing instead of trying to run both paths together.
Like we said we love reading your reviews so leave more if you can! They really help us get to a better game.

Dec 7th Release date announced!
I know we said final steps a few weeks ago, but a CPU knocked us off course there for a few cycles.
We're super psyched to announce Dec 7th as our launch date and we're planning a special stearming event online so players can join us for a nostalgic playthrough of some of our favourite scenes from past episodes.

LongStory script enters Final QA round this week!
Hi Steam Friends,
The writing team is proud to announce we have submitted our final collection of script files to the dev team for integration into the game! One more playthrough and the story is ready to ship.
Our dev path is currently:
1. Iron out some resizing issues between 4:3 and 16:9 screen ratios.
2. Work out a few bugs in the mobile builds.
3. Give'er Ha!
When we launch the game you can look forward to 'improved' versions of the all the episodes we have already launched + 1 new episode called In Dubai.
In Dubai picks where we left off in episode 7. It's summer and Marcel has taken off to live with his aunt and uncle in Dubai.
We've worked hard on the episode, and we're really excited it's going to be out soon.
We get lots of questions about whether there will be a new season of LongStory and we really hope that with the game on Steam, IOS and Android we'll have the financial ability to invest in a new season. We'll keep you posted in that regard as soon as we get through this release!
