Loot'N Shoot

Transition from Early Access to full release!

Today is a big day, the game finally left the early access stage.

Everything that we wanted to test and introduce during early access have successfully been introduced over the last weeks. That's why we transitioned to full release today.

We of course will continue to work and improve the game. The next highest priority is finishing all achievements and balancing the items properly.

We're also preparing some halloween related stuff for next month!

Meanwhile enjoy the release! ːsteamhappyː

Hotfix 09 / 17 / 17

Just deployed a hot fix for an issue that resulted in double map loadings in practice mode when you returned from hosting a multiplayer game.

Patchnotes 09 / 16 / 17

Greetings everyone! There's a new patch!

  • increased player movement speed
  • decreased the speed reduction when wielding a weapon
  • the player now has a trail effect when sprinting
  • adjusted the endscreen window for people winning the game so that you will not move around anymore
  • the lobby chat- and endscreen chat -input field now doesn't deselect after sending a message

  • endscreen now contains a counter for how many players are still alive

Patchnotes 09 / 14 / 17

Greetings everyone! It's that time again. Here are the notes for this patch!

- two new map themes, medieval and asian inspired themes (in a more humorous way though) Shown in the two images below.

Patchnotes 09 / 06 / 17

Hello everybody! Today's the day! New patch is here!

The new patch contains the following:

A practice mode available through the main menu where you can practice your shooting skills on floating dummies on a selected map (singleplayer)

A major rebalancing of weapons to lengthen the playtime of the match a bit and make them less risky and more fun in the sense that they have more ammunition, less damage and lesser risk of backfiring now.

The first two achievements made it in as well. They're really easy achievements to start of with, there will be more challenging ones in the future.

You're standing now closer to items/weapons in boxes when looting since the player can now walk through the boxes (projectiles and thrown items can't) This is to help any stucking looting issues that have been there before.

The weapons and boxes highlighting is now done in a per range basis which means if they're in reach of the player they will be highlighted regardless of looking at them, this is to gain some performance and prevent some hiccups we've experienced before.

The player names in the lobby are now longer and wont be cut too short.

Added the "Sprint" key to the control sheet on the main menu.

Fixed an issue with the signal torch not burning for the other players when picking it up yourself.

We hope this will bring quite the enjoyment! And happy looting and shooting!

Upcoming Patch

The upcoming patch will contain quite some stuff.

- Practice Mode (Singleplayer, as mentioned in the previous announcement)
- Item rebalancing (Less risky, less damage, more ammunition, prolonged battles)
- Achievements
- Edited post processing effects
- Adjusted box collision to enable quicker and more direct looting
- Reworked the highlighting system of items/weapons in an optimizing manner

There is no ETA yet but it wont take too long to finish it up (most likely by friday)

After that patch the main focus will be on:

- enabling endgame chat
- adding the ability to rematch in private/friends only lobbies
- option for visible name tags above players
- indicator for how many players are remaining
- adding a display for the achieved place after getting killed

Practice Mode

We're currently working on a single player "Practice" mode where you can train your shooting skills on dummies.

This is also to ensure some gameplay even in times of few multiplayer games available.

Thanks to everyone who has joined our community so far!

Patchnotes 09 / 03 / 17

8 new weapons have been added ( 4x Firearms, 3x Throwing, 1x Melee )

8 new Masks have been added
