Patch 1.6 announcement

Patch 1.6 is now available for download. The update improves the general game stability.

Patch 1.5 announcement

We would like to announce that patch 1.5 has been released.

The following issues have been fixed with the patch:



  • Mana regeneration issue
  • Improper Infiltrator's behaviour
  • Cutscene with the two monks being triggered incorrectly
  • Crafter's VO
  • Overlapping texts in the Rune Screen in French language
  • VO synchronization issue in German
  • The Quake spell damage issue
  • Antanas' Dark Experiments ending being played incorrectly
  • Missing Chinese translations

The patch also provides a support for the Ancient Labyrinth DLC.

Patch 1.4 announcement

We would like to announce to that Lords of the Fallen Patch 1.4 was released today.
The patch solves major gameplay issues, and it improves the game stability.

Please note that we are sharing a development version of the game for users who are still experiencing frequent stability issues.
The development version generates a log each time the game crashes so we can investigate specific cases of the game instability. We are working hard and doing our best to resolve those issues as soon as possible.
If you are experiencing frequent stability issues please contact us at support@cigames.com. Please attach a dxdiag report to the email:
1. Hold Windows button and press 'R' simultaneously
2. Type Dxdiag
3. Confirm by pressing 'OK'
4. Click 'Save all information'


Patch 1.4 notes



The following technical issues have been fixed with the update:

  • Game functions not working properly if a gamepad is not connected to the PC
  • FPS drop while using Gauntlet
  • Windowed mode instead of the Windowed Borderless after restarting the game
  • Green bar at the bottom of screen on Nvidia splash screen
  • Mouse cursor disappearing after changing resolution in fullscreen mode


The following gameplay issues have been resolved in the patch:

  • Inactive lever before Commander encounter after game restart
  • Harkyn not being respawned after dying nearby magic statue
  • Harkyn being unable to move after jumping into gauntlet cutscene trigger
  • Incorrect physics of human ragdolls
  • Gate at Cirque of Heroes being closed after dying during Beast encounter
  • Possibility to get to the area with Law Hammer without opening the door
  • Game corruption when Harkyn dies while recovering his health points
  • The player being unable to change gear after equipping Sting
  • Incorrect Champion hitboxes
  • Guard Captain reacting improperly on Mimic skill effects
  • Inactive hitboxes of 2 Infested enemies In Catacombs
  • Greatswords attacks not dealing damage after successfully parrying an attack
  • Disappearing rewards from chests after death
  • Archer shooting through wall in Catacombs
  • The issue that caused disappearing locks on treasure chests
  • Spells can now be marked as favourite allowing to customize the spell rotation (press Y on the controller or V on a keyboard to set a spell as favourite)

Patch 1.4 pre-announcement

Lords of the Fallen Patch 1.4 will be released in the next few days.
Fixes in the patch will solve major gameplay issues. We are aware of the game stability problems. Since we cannot reproduce those issues on our side, we are sharing a development version of the game with users who reported such crashes.

Patch 1.3 announcement

We would like to announce that patch 1.3 was just released. A few options have been added to the in-game settings including separate setting for Chromatic Abberation (Post Chromashift). Major gameplay issues have been fixed with the update.

Full patch notes:

The following features have been added to the game:
Separate Chromatic Abberation setting (Post Chromashift)
Invert X-axis option
Toggle target switching after killing an enemy option
A warning message when the user enables very high resolution textures (performance and stability issues)

List of fixed technical issues:
Damage value displayed in the inventory when a non-physical weapon is equipped
Sudden contrast changes at the outdoor areas
Missing cursor when displaying message boxes in the game
The splash screens timings that were incorrect on some machines
Scaling for weapons with an attribute requirement lower than 10
First tutorial issue with message box not popping up
Chinese localization issue

List of fixed game design issues:
Planetarium issue where you could get stuck if you died and killed a foe simultaneously
Improved the catacombs pit issue fix- if a player is stuck down there, he will get teleported
Boss extro cutscenes that were triggered when the player and the boss died simultaneously
Incorrect respawn position after death if the player skipped the tutorial
Improved targeting when using Right Stick/button wheel
Rune of Adyr' issue; The rune has been removed from the inventory when starting NG+
Player position when approaching the first tutorial foe
The Crippled Rhogar quest issues; The NPC will now offer the mission even after the player has rejected his initial offer; The NPC will now correctly accept humans skulls in his initial conversation with the player
The crippled Rhogar voice-over after its death
Gate leading to Commander arena; Yetka will no longer close the gate if the enemies are not on the arena
The issue concerning the final boss falling through the floor
The random death after respawn during the final boss encounter
The Guardian boss weapon issue
The issue with the key to the Gardens being dropped too early
Model of portal leading to the Hand of God was changed
Chest in the First Warden arena was removed
Curse weapon issue; The weapon no longer grants additional luck attribute points
Exp multiplier; The multiplier now resets after either saving progress or banking exp. Please note that you can save the game without losing the multiplier by holding Left Stick/Shift while using the shard (health& health potions will not be refilled then)


If you are having problems with the in-game settings working incorrectly after the patch please delete the settings.ini file from Lords of the Fallen folder in Documents (this will reset all the settings to default).
