2024 Roadmap - Part 3

We’re excited to share the third part of the 2024 roadmap, which includes the major planned content pieces arriving in Arkesia over the next four months of 2024. Join Associate Franchise Leader Matthew Huston, Head of Editorial Henry Stelter, and Community Manager Roxanne Sabo for our team’s video update.
The roadmap content discussed are highlights we know players are eagerly awaiting, but the roadmap is not a comprehensive list of every change arriving in Arkesia over the next few months, and could change. As we approach each month, more details will be shared. New quality of life (QoL) updates, content balance tuning, adjustments to support new and returning players, and unique events may appear in the upcoming months. Stay tuned to our website and social channels for future Release Notes, including the full list of new content, cosmetics, content balance changes, events, and more included in our major monthly updates.
July 24 Weekly Update Notes
Heroes of Arkesia,
This week, our standard Wednesday maintenance will have a bigger batch of changes than a standard weekly update. We’re excited in incorporate some key progression changes based on player feedback! Downtime will begin on July 24 at 12 a.m. PT (7 a.m. UTC) and is expected to last up to 4 hours.
Before we dive into the updates, we’re excited to share that all players will be granted a 2024 Swimsuit Skin! We appreciate your ongoing support and passion for Lost Ark, and hope this helps you relax in the Arkesian sun during the summer months as we head toward Tier 4. We’ll let you know when this has been delivered to your Product Inventory, stay tuned to our social channels or the Official Lost Ark Discord.
General Updates
Elixir System: New feature to select an option for the last slot when refining an Elixir has been added, along with an option to skip Sage's cutscenes.
Transcendence System: Conditions required to increase Elzowin's Grace level have been eased and added an option to speed up the Transcendence animation.
Solo Raids: Honing material rewards increased and True Supporter buff improved.
Super Mokoko Express
The Super Mokoko Express Event will be changed to allow the event to be activated on any character under item level 1620. After the conclusion of this maintenance, any players who have already picked a character for the event will be able to re-initiate the event in-game and pick a new (or the same) character to activate it on. Please note that any rewards already collected from the Super Mokoko Express Event will not be granted a second time following the update. You will still receive the event honing buffs on the character you choose, and will be able to earn any rewards that you did not already earn on the newly selected character.

July Twitch Drop Showcase

New summer pets arrive in a Twitch Drop accompanying the Cool Retreat Update, available for members of the Lost Ark Creator Program to enable on their channel. There are 4 Drops, and unlike tiered Drops, watch time for each Drop is earned simultaneously. Drop 1 - 2hrs - Amethyst Shard x1,000 Drop 2 - 4hrs - Epic Rapport Selection Chest Drop 3 - 6hrs - Legendary Rapport Selection Chest Drop 4 - 8hrs - Summer Pet Selection Chest

Cool Retreat Release Notes

The July “Cool Retreat” Update arrives in Arkesia tomorrow. Downtime will begin on July 17 at 2 a.m. PT (9 a.m. UTC) and is expected to last 6 hours. The Cool Retreat Update is built to help players relax in the Arkesian sun and is full of progression updates, new events, Solo Mode raids, and more.

Eye on Arkesia - July

The July "Cool Retreat" update arrives next week on July 17 packed with exciting updates for Lost Ark players! Join Community Manager Roxx for the July episode of Eye on Arkesia, where she'll discuss the plans for July 2024. This series covers game updates, new videos, and more, ensuring you stay informed about everything new in Lost Ark. The full release notes will drop on Tuesday, July 16.
Roxx discusses some of the exciting content players can look forward to in July, with in-game updates such as Solo Raids, progression updates, new Swimsuit cosmetics, and a video roadmap later this month. The Echidna Loading Screen Contest winners will also be showcased, featuring incredible fan-created artworks.

Team Update - 2024 Summer Roadmap Changes

We’re excited to share a roadmap update with new content arriving in July, September, and later this year in 2024, with new raids, activities, adventures, and Tier 4, the next evolution of Lost Ark’s endgame. Below you’ll learn when we plan to release major changes to Lost Ark along with some descriptions of the systems if you missed LOA ON! We will still release a video roadmap next month that covers the end of summer and fall and dives into some specifics— such as detailing the months that some of the later content will be arriving in.
The June "Summer Heat" update arrives next week on June 19, bringing the next chapter of Lost Ark with the introduction of the Chaotic Continent of South Kurzan and the first Kazeros Raid — Echidna. We’re excited to announce a special art contest for the upcoming Echidna Raid. Players will have the opportunity to create Echidna-themed loading screens that will be added into the game for several months during the summer, while Echidna is a featured endgame raid.
