Lost Eidolons has been up and running on PCs since October of last year, but we aren’t quite done bringing Eden and Balastar to everyone–we have yet to bring them to our console players. This is why we have partnered with a veteran publishing team at Plug in Digital to bring Lost Eidolons to both Xbox and PlayStation within the year. We'll bring more detail on this via our social channels (links below) so stay tuned!
We will be attending PAX East in Boston to demo our second game, but we will also be taking the full game on Xbox for you to try out. We have never shown the full version on Xbox before, so this will mark the first time out in public! And if you’ve been wondering how well the game plays on Steam Deck, you can give it a go at our booth as well.
We are booth #19085, and we’d look something like this.
Drop by and say hi if you’re at PAX East even if you’ve played through Lost Eidolons. We’d love to meet you! Even if you’re not attending PAX, follow our various social channels to look at what’s happening in our booth and behind the scenes.

Now, here’s a word about this patch from Jin Sang Kim, the Creative Director of Lost Eidolons.
It’s already been a full month since we’ve entered the new year.
In this patch, we added finishing touches to make the game feel more polished overall. We had quite a few Tacticians who wanted more from the game’s ending. Taking in that feedback, we made improvements: we added more detail to the ending, as well as epilogues for each character so that Tacticians can learn more about what came after the plight for their favorites.
Another area we received a lot of feedback on was the final battle’s balance, so we added some in-battle events that can help ease the difficulty. The optional battle improvements we’ve mentioned previously also comes in this patch. In order to address feedback about repeating the same battle, we made adjustments so that each optional battle can be a bit more interesting. Last but not least, we fixed various bugs that our community reported, to make Lost Eidolons more polished than ever!
Addressed the continuity issue in the quest dialogue for recruiting one of the recruitable units in Ch. 18
Fixed the animation issues during rapport conversation with Robere
Fixed the camera issues that occurred during camp interactions (issues with character locations, camera perspectives, character gazes, etc.)
Fixed the issue where Albrecht’s starting class was set to Commoner
Fixed the issue where key input for skipping/speeding up animation did not work, if the turn ended as you opened a treasure chest in battle
Fixed the issue where the cursor would be placed in the corner of the screen, if you navigated the battlefield right after resuming a battle
Fixed the issue where the effect of Marchelle’s passive skill, “Warmhearted”, was not being applied
Fixed the issue where there was an odd visual effect showing in the Formation screen for Ch. 13 optional battle
Fixed the issue where you would skip directly to camp, if you mashed the A button on the controller in the battle victory screen
Fixed the issue where your unit showed disproportionately small when ramming gates
Fixed the issue where, if you selected Balastar (in a certain state) in Ch. 27 battle as target for Divine Blow skill, the skill’s area of effect displayed incorrectly
Fixed the issue where, when playing on Maniac Mode, characters who suffered “permanent death” did not show their rapport endings
Other Changes and Improvements
Added a tutorial for when you receive prestige rewards, about using the Village Reward item to get its contents
Added the Help menu to the list of menus that display when you press Esc during combat
Added the option to show/hide Aides in the Formation UI
Added UI to indicate saving is in progress when saving mid-battle
Improved categorization of characters under the Rapport UI
Improved controls for camera zoom-in/-out
Improved the Battling Bosses tutorial text
Improved the camera panning speed in camp and in grid view during battle
Improved the sorting order for items under the camp’s Gift Items UI

Lost Eidolons Patch Notes (12/20/2022)
Hello all,
This patch is our biggest game update since the launch of Lost Eidolons. The New Game Plus mode, which was discussed a little in the last patch notes, has finally arrived. With this new mode, I really hope you give the game another go and enjoy Lost Eidolons again in a style you haven’t played in!
I think it would be more interesting to go through the story once again on NG+, because the dialogue cutscenes have been greatly improved in this patch. The development team really worked hard to bring this to you with the NG+ mode. We did the best we can to do our best storytelling within the limits of our resources, so I would like to encourage all those who have already finished the game to enjoy the story again on NG+.
After this patch, we plan to work on improving endings and optional battles. We did try to highlight the fact that there are multiple endings by adding a little more dynamic UI to conversations this time around. But what we’re planning now is to improve the endings themselves in the next patch, in order to tell you a little more about what happens to each character after the conclusion of Lost Eidolons albeit in text format.
For the optional battles, we’re trying to make the repeating battles a little more interesting so please look forward to it!
We wish you the happiest of holidays and an even happier New Year! :)

Important Note Regarding the Upcoming New Game+ Mode
Greetings, Tacticians.
As we get closer and closer to bringing you the big New Game+ patch, we’re getting more and more excited! It is something we’ve been thinking about as soon as we launched, and is very close to becoming a reality.
Before we bring the patch to you, we do have an important note for our most veteran Tacticians. You may recall that our patch on November 9th is when we added the ability to save after clearing the game. This means that finishing the game before that update did not create a record for New Game+ purposes. If you beat the game before updating to GM1.02, please be advised that you would need to fight the last battle and watch the ending again to enter New Game+. Tacticians who reached the end of the game after the GM1.02 patch are not affected.
We apologize that our most dedicated Tacticians who beat the game within the first month of release are affected by this. On launch day, we saw that many Tacticians enjoyed Lost Eidolons and wanted even more. This led us to plan NG+ right away, but it also meant we had to perform additional backend work. While we did our best to make haste, the earliest we could implement NG+ preparations was November 9th.
We looked into different options such as using achievements to recover at least some data, but realized that it would actually pose more risk to the game’s stability. Another concern was that a patchworked save file would not be able to fully carry over everything our Tacticians worked so hard to achieve, making it a marred experience.
We are deeply grateful for the support all our Tacticians have shown us, and hope the New Game+ update would bring you more fun as you revisit Artemesia. If you have any questions, please feel free to join our Discord server and ask them to our staff.

Please note that if you are playing at this time, your game will not be interrupted. You will be prompted to download the patch the next time you open Lost Eidolons.
We also have an important note about the Bracelet of Durability stat fix. If you have a mid-battle save with a character equipping the Bracelet of Durability item, please refer to the details we share below.
Now, here’s a word about this patch from Jin Sang Kim, the Creative Director of Lost Eidolons. -------------------------------------------- Hello, everyone!
First of all, we made changes to the battle restart feature. You now have the option to start from the battle preparation phase. If you prefer, you can also choose the existing restart method--restarting from the very first turn. With this change, you can quickly make adjustments to your setup and get back into action when you restart a battle.
We also adjusted the battle balance for chapters 8 and 18. We felt those two battles may have been a huge difficulty spike for many players, so we focused on taming that spike a little bit. We also made it easier to get the very first recruitable character, Karin. There is power in numbers, so this should also help you with the subsequent battles!
Last but not least: I would say the biggest changes we bring in this patch would be enabling a proper Lost Eidolons experience on the Steam Deck. We fixed an issue with cutscenes so that they now show properly on the Steam Deck. Moreover, we added the option for changing the UI font size, which improves readability. We strongly believe these changes create a better experience to those who enjoy Lost Eidolons on a handheld device!
- Jin Sang --------------------------------------------
Added icons to note gift categories that are effective for each character. These will be hidden at first, but will start unlocking when you give gifts that the character likes.
Starting with this patch, the default value for subtitle & UI font size will be applied as large font.
The change will not be applied for players who previously set the font size under Settings. Players who have not will see the large font applied by default.
Added UI font size option to Settings (can be set to default or large font)
Improved Chinese font size. We will continue to make further improvements.
Fixed the incorrectly implemented stats on the quest item Bracelet of Durability, which you obtain during a side quest in Ch. 14.
[IMPORTANT] If you have a unit equipped with the item and saved mid-battle, using Continue to resume the battle may cause a crash. While the crash happened very rarely during our testing, when it happened, it resulted in losing that save file.
If you are unsure, you may want to wait on the update until you check and save at a point where you are are no longer equipping the item.
Added a tutorial on Bond Effect during Ch. 4 battle.
Added a message to let you know there are quests that are not being tracked, when you have 3 or more quests currently in progress.
Added missing quest text: some quests in Ch. 10 & 11, as well as the Journal menu.
Added notification messages for save file errors.
Adjusted the difficulty for recruiting Karin by building rapport with her. Players can now recruit her more easily.
Adjusted the difficulty of Ch. 8 battle.
The debuff that triggers when you destroy the Unfortified Wall will be applied to all enemies except for the boss.
Fixed text issues for skills: Prudent Strike and Chains of Ascuasa (Balastar’s skill).
Fixed the issue where the different areas were not shown on the camp map, if you opened the map while standing in-between areas.
Fixed the issue where there could be an infinite attack loop when using the Relentless Strike skill.
Improved so that you can retrieve equipment from characters that leave the camp.
Some characters' equipment can be retrieved by talking to others in the camp after they are no longer available.
Other characters' equipment will be automatically retrieved when they leave the camp.
Improved game’s stability related to crashes and controls.
Improved notifications for obtaining items by adding sound effects and making them last longer.
Removed Restart from the menu in Ch. 0 tutorial battle.
Thank you for your patience as we continue to fix issues and provide more improvements per your suggestions.
