Frogs, swamp and cliffs



The swamp is not quite finished, but I think you've been waiting long enough.

Due some problems with third-party plugins, this update is a bit delayed. The development of a game cannot always be perfectly planned and unforeseen problems occur.

Patchlog

- A pond with harmonious sound and flying particles.
- Frogs - They fleeing from you.

- New ground texture "swamp" with a suitable footstep sound.

- When opening a corpse, a different sound effect appears than in the case of containers.

Fixed
- Now, all containers will play a sound if you open it.
- Trees are replanted and should no longer hover.

First animal and new biome coming soon

I'm currently working on a swamp with a pond, 3d cliffs and new effects. The swamp is a new biome with an unique atmosphere.

The pond is populated with frogs, the first animal of LIN. Frogs are shy and will jump into the pond if you scare them.

Palisades, weather icon and item log

Now, you can build palisades, you can see the next weather as an icon and a message appears, if you gather an item.

Animated Tools, Charcoal Kiln and Torches!

Welcome to update 0.6.3



Now, you can see all the tools and weapons! In addition, you can now build a charcoal kiln and produce coal!



With the new torch you are no longer bound to your camp at night.

Fish Traps, Shrimps & Interesting Places

Welcome to update 0.6.2!



Now, you can build fish traps and with some luck, you can catch fishes, shrimps and sea weed. To lure animals, you can fill the trap with a bait. Each bait has a certain attraction to fishes and crustaceans.



If you put in reality two traps right next to each other, you will not get twice as many prey. So it is also in LIN! Depending on the durability of the trap and distance to other traps, the trap effectivity is different.


I have begun to design the island individually and will now improve the island with every update. Today, I made a scary discovery on the beach! oO When you are in creepy places, this affects your sanity negatively.

- In item tooltips, you can read how much the item acts as bait.

- Sanity is now lost 66% less quickly in the night.
- The night now starts 1 hour later and ends 1 hour earlier.
- There is now a place to discover.
- On the island minor changes were made.

Fixed
- Due to an error, the length of the night was calculated incorrectly. It now takes as planned 5 minutes (before about 3 minutes).

Update 0.6.1

There was some confusion when searching through trees, because it was not clear that you had to grab the items with [E].

If you have problems with performance, disable SSAA! This is extremely resource intensive!

Restart Steam to get the update.

Perhaps we cannot support macintosh during early access.
