OST file fix

Files not being downloaded after buying the OST has been fixed.

As Steam went to the new OST system I thought I had converted everything accordingly and even though the files were uploaded, Steam did not think there was a build that contained the files. I just learned of this today and everything should be fixed now.

Small Christmas update

Christmas Alert!
Nezumi Testing is now festive in the new update! This was really last minute so it's just Nezumi Testing and Sotiris. Don't worry if you miss it, you can still see it by changing your calendar to December past the 15th.

Small 3.0.1 patch in "testing"

You can opt into the testing beta to get this patch now, or wait and it'll be available tomorrow if nothing is wrong with it.

Here is the list of bug fixes:
Shoggoth not noticing the player.
Controller support in Tape 6.
Hole in geometry around Tape 6 ladder.
Motion blur not turning off.
Gamma not resetting and staying 0 - (This should be fixed as I've made the reset trigger more sensitive and happen more often, but it also should not have happened in the first place)
Mersus Tape enemies added to the gallery of light.
New game plus subtracting on early in-game death.

Update 3.0

The first Mersus Tapes update is now released!
3.0.0

2 new tapes are accessible from the extras menu. The Wolf is a nightly camping trip while a beast lurks in the woods and The Way Out is a more surreal and symbolic journey written by MrKravin.

Also in this update are general fixes and a new main menu, and I've made a beta that you opt into called "2.2.0" should for any reason this newer version not work for you or if you just want the old menu.

Mersus Tapes - Upcoming free content update

The Mersus Tapes is a free content update coming out soon that includes 5 additional lost tapes that you can access from the main menu.

Everyone has supported this game so much that I decided to make the DLC a free content update instead. I will be releasing the tapes a few at a time as they are completed. 2 have already been finished and will arrive with the next update that also adds a new main menu.

This update is already available in the Patreon beta, but will release as soon as it’s certified (mostly) bug free.

Update 2.1.1 is out!

New secrets, bug fixes, and a randomized enemy mode are now here. The new mode shows up after you've beaten new game plus and can be accessed by pressing the right key on the new game selection. This mode is meant to enhance further playthroughs after new game plus and add a lot of variety for players who think they've seen everything and includes a few new enemies and spawn locations.

Patch 2.0.2

Patch 2.0.2 is out.

Fixed shadows on new knife skins.
Fixed a hole in the last level.
Quarantined an area people kept getting stuck in.
Fixed skybox not showing in midnight mode.

Update 2.0.1 is live!

The entire game has had a slight overhaul, fixing bugs and minor details, adding volumetric fog and new reflections, and a few new features like being able to skip the intro and adjust the FOV have been included.

Update 2.0 is here, for testing!

Update 2.0 is finally out in some capacity!

This update is built on a new version of Unity and the whole game has had an overhaul of polish. There is a new reflection system, volumetric light system and a lot of small tweaks and bug fixes. And an FOV slider is now included in the options for people with motion sickness. This new version of Unity also should fix the alt-tabbing issue that the old Unity had. Plus Steam achievements can be unlocked for getting the different endings and finding the secret modes.

To try it out though you’ll have to opt into it by right clicking the game in your library, clicking on properties, betas, and finally selecting [testing] as the beta to opt into.

This is because even though I have fully gone through the game and made sure there wasn’t any bugs, there is a good possibility that I’ve missed some.

After a week of it being out in [testing], provided nothing major ends up being broken I will make it the default build for everyone.

Upcoming Major Update

Version 2.0 is soon on it's way!

I'm about 87% done with a new major update that overhalls a lot of the game and introduces achievements.

You may see these achievements already but until the update is out I'm sorry they will not be unlockable. I had to publish them in order to make sure they work.

After I am done with the update I will publish it in a (opt in) beta for a week to make sure there are no bugs that I've missed and then make it the default build.

When the update is out in beta I will publish another announcment with more information about it.
