Lost Technology is a simulation game in which over 100 characters comprising a total of 12 different factions battle to conquer each other’s territories. The faction chosen at the beginning will determine the conversations and events that occur throughout the game between the player and the other factions.
You may not know this, but the Kingdom of Gug scenario was actually written by Hato Moa, creator of Hatoful Boyfriend. Following in the footsteps of Hatoful Boyfriend, the Lost Technology Kingdom of Gug scenario has also been released on Steam, so Hato provided us with a commemorative comment!

Fixed a bug where the sprites associated with Electric Mages recruited by Ricard didn't load correctly

Dragon Knights of Fevnir

200 years ago there was a band of knights who rode dragons through the skies and fought in the name of justice...
However, they and their dragons were driven to the brink of destruction by the machinations of a now defunct nation.
Now their descendants take up arms once again to save the dragons from extinction...
Dragon Knight: Scarlett
A descendant of the dragon knights that perished 200 years ago, and the heir to her family’s dragon.
She wearily watches Smaug, the dragon she has taken care off since she was a girl, grey by the year. She wants to set out on a journey to find a mate for him, but does not want to abandon Bradley to the wastes.
That is, until the day a girl on a dragon-mount of non-Fevnir lineage appears before her.
The girl had set out on a journey of her own to find a mate for her beloved dragon, and word of Fevnir’s descendants had led her to them.
Scarlett’s and the girl’s dragon are both male, making breeding impossible. But Scarlett comes away from the encounter knowing that dragon knights outside of those of Fevnir exist, and she is intent on finding them. Even if means taking over the world to do it.

Castus

A religion founded by an atheist to take advantage of the pious peoples of the desert.
Its followers champion saving the weak and overthrowing the powerful in the name of God. As they expand out from the harsh deserts in search of bountiful lands so too do their teachings…
Head of the Castus Religion: Ishak Both the head and founder of the Castus religion.
While Ishak uses God’s name to justify riding into battle or imposing sacrifice, he himself does not believe in God’s existence for a second. However, if God does exist Ishak would very much like to meet him.
When Ishak realizes he can use the piety of the people around him to his advantage he galvanizes them into an organized religion and overthrows a desert kingdom, establishing the religion as a major power.
Ishak would be the first to admit he deserves divine retribution for using God’s name for his ends. That is, if God truly exists.

Kingdom of Gug

Pavonis: The island home of the frog race, and seat of the Kingdom of Gug.
Its proximity to the demon continent of Dioscurias has kept it from foreign invasion. It is an exception in a world at war -- a nation that espouses peace, and a free-spirited love of music.
The Frog King: Laurence The reigning monarch of the Kingdom of Gug, and Charlotte’s father.
In his prime he was a star tenor in the Royal Opera, where his performances were invariably met with standing ovation. While he is retired now, his singing voice is as captivating as always, and perhaps part of why he is popular with his subjects.
His wife died protecting her clutch one stormy night, leaving him to raise his daughter alone. This might explain his tendency to spoil her.
