A critical issue with the 1.2.2 update was fixed, so you can download it now!
Still, if you see any bugs or weird text, please report it.
1.2.2 (delayed) - localization system update
Some people with different locale had troubles, so update is delayed.
Update:
• Fixed switches text • Some minor changes in design • Updated localization system (game may freeze a bit when the dialogue starts, but the new system allows to add more translations in future)
I've tested this update alot, but there still may be some bugs. Please, report about any bugs you see.
1.2.1 - Steam SDK update
A newer version of the Steam SDK was integrated. Most of the players will not notice any changes. Have fun!
1.2.0 - English version re-translation update
The English version of Lost Wish: In the desperate world was re-translated, including dialogues, tips, and item descriptions.
Last fix broke overlay and returning to menu (thanks to some conflict between new Steam IDE and engine basic functions). I rewrited some of the code. Hope it didn't cause any other bugs.
Steam fix
Steam achievements and screenshots were broken due to the new way of interaction between Steam IDE and game engine. Now all achievements you didn't get because of this bug (except first death and endings achievements) will be gained when you launch your save. Have fun!
2 games are in development!
Introduction
Hello everybody! Today I am going to announce two games, I've been developing. There is one big story-focused game and one simple gameplay-focused platformer.
About the big story-focused game
I haven't named this project yet. It is a game, which contains both simulator and visual novel types in one project. The story will start as a post-apocalyptic slice of life and will proceed as a more plot-focused. The simulator part will have a simple mechanics: do things = change stats. The stats will make a small impact on a story progression and a large impact on some events. For now, I can not tell more details, because there still a lot have to be done. The development of this game certainly will take over a year. I'll make a steam page asap.
About the simple game
"Easy Simple Game" is a gameplay-focused platformer. Fast actions and high accuracy are welcome. Although it is all about gameplay, there still will be a little fun story. The game will be cheap and fun. I'd appreciate if you add it to your wishlist. The main reason for making this game is that I need a lot of time to make a VN, which is mentioned before. The better this "Easy Simple Game" will be sold - the more time I'll be able to work on the big game.
Plans
I plan on making some simple games (not only platformers), while I work on the big one. If everything will be ok, I'll be able to focus on the VN. So, everything depends on how many people will like these small games and the VN I'm working on. About my first game (Lost Wish: In the desperate world) - I will make small updates from time to time and fix bugs if there still will be any. I also want to make a detailed walkthrough to unlock every possible achievement is a single run. The other thing I want to do - is to make a simple site about my works, but I'll do it later.
Update 1.1.2 - small fixes
Changes
The default "Full Screen" option is "on".
Added buttons for social media in the main menu.
English translation minor changes. If you see some errors in the text, you can write me on my e-mail (innocentsouldev@mail.ru), I'll fix the broblem.
Bug fixes
Fixed some story locks on the old saves (some of the old saves did not use the new data, so some paths were auto-locked).
Changes: Jump power is increased a bit. It is now easier to reach some surfaces. Some help signs changes.
Bug fixes: Stardust ability now can't hurt some objects (mostly on bossfights). Some enemy spawners had a chance to be completely turned off. Fixed some performance issues.
"It is a feature, not a bug" You can use an item that is not selected by abusing the pause system. I am not planning on removing this feature. This feature is used in the speedrun, so I decided to let it be.
