Fixed issue where move out residents scene wasn't triggering properly
Fixed issue with giving the same resident 2 vacation tickets
Fixed issue with opening the save slots menu if there is an error with a save file
If there is an error in a save file, restore the backup save. If no backup save, show a popup to the player with more details

Patch v1.1.0 is Live!
The first patch is here! Here are the changes:
Added:
Setting under the Controls tab to allow inverting the zoom direction for mouse
Fixed:
Adjusted volumes for some sfx
Fix various typos (I'm learned that 'ephemeral' is not the word I thought it was, oops!)
Miscellaneous bug fixes
Some really minor changes, but wanted to get a quick patch in before the weekend! I'll be looking into more bug fixes next week!

Love, Ghostie is available NOW to play on Windows, Mac, and Steam Deck!
Huge thank you to everyone who has been patiently waiting and those of you who have given your feedback and support! We’ve been working so hard these past 3 years and we’ve put so much love and care into the full release!
Love, Ghostie is launching alongside the Wholesome Games Steam Celebration, and we have a 10% launch discount that runs through Aug 21.
While we don’t officially have Steam Deck verification yet, we’ve tested a lot on the Steam Deck and it runs smoothly!
Your save file from the demo will NOT transfer to the full game, as many changes were made after the demo.
Please consider leaving an honest review if you play the game. Reviews help indies with visibility and we’d love to see what you think of it!

One Week Until Launch and Last Week for Demo!

As for other news, we’ll also be taking down the demo on Monday, August 12. The demo is a bit outdated and we’ll be spending our efforts on supporting the launch instead of updating the demo. Please note that demo save does NOT transfer to the full game.

A new Proton version was released recently on Steam Deck (9.0-2) and unfortunately the Love, Ghostie demo crashes on that version. I've filed a bug report with Proton, and they're looking into a fix.
In the meantime, you can switch your Proton version to 8.0-5 or 7.0-6 to get it working!

With all the summer showcases that recently happened, it’s been tough to stand out amongst the vast number of indie games out there! Unfortunately, we were rejected from all the showcases we applied to, and it’s no secret that we’re disappointed. Steam Next Fest starts tomorrow and runs from June 10-17. In case you missed it, we released a brand new demo (that you can play now!) that includes all the residents that will be in the full release. This means that ALL 66 combinations of couples are also available to preview!
