The Birth of an Empire: Drogakan's story begins over 600 years ago, with the remarkable rise of Magnificent Scandar. At just 16 years old, he took up arms and embarked on a path that would forever change the course of history. By the age of 20, he achieved his first triumph and began expanding his influence.
Conquest and Unification: Starting from the vast plains, Scandar's conquest extended westward, subjugating the ancient factions of Angharad, Gunhild, and many more. He quelled internal strife within the central regions of the continent and gradually pushed eastward. Scandar's ultimate dream was to unify the entire continent, stretching from the western coast to the eastern shores, encompassing Ishan and Agedor. To solidify his rule over the newly acquired lands, Scandar formed unions with the noble families of each conquered faction, aiming to unite all under one banner.
Challenges Beyond the Bone Mountain: At the age of 60, Scandar's campaigns took him to the formidable Bone Mountain range. Beyond this treacherous terrain lay the ancestral lands of Agedor, Caledov, and Ishan. This region was known for its unforgiving geography, with mountains and seas forming natural barriers that hindered military advances. The descendants of defeated factions and those seeking refuge found themselves in these lands, gradually establishing their own kingdoms. As of the events in Hero by Chance, only three of these kingdoms remain: Agedor, Caladov, and Ishan, forming a delicate balance of power.
Scandar's Legacy and the Red Decade: Tragically, Scandar succumbed to illness at the age of 65, leaving behind over a hundred sons and numerous daughters. Although his intent was to unite all factions as one family, the reality turned out differently. Scandar's offspring began vying for the throne, leading to a blood-soaked struggle for power. Each child had the backing of a mother and a faction, laying the foundation for a turbulent era known as the "Red Decade." The very soil of Drogakan's imperial capital was irrigated with the blood of Scandar's own kin.
The Rise of Blessed Igraine: In the year 52 AMC (After Magnificent Scandar), Scandar's daughter, Igraine, with the support of her mother, a high priestess of the Jehdaism faith, established the Sisterhood of Filia Victoria. Igraine assumed the role of governing the empire, using politics and religion to bring the warring factions under her sway. In 82 AMC, she successfully united most of the facitons and appointed one of her younger brothers as the second official emperor since Scandar. Igraine's achievement led to her being revered as Blessed Igraine or Igraine the Just. The second emperor, in gratitude, recognized Jehdaism as the official state religion and elevated the Sisterhood of Filia Victoria to the empire's guardians. As the Sisterhood primarily comprised virgin girls, it evolved into a covert paramilitary force, undertaking various roles from safeguarding the imperial family to espionage, assassination, and intelligence gathering.
A Nation's Fate in the Shadows: Those who joined Filia Victoria underwent rigorous screening, considering lineage and aptitude. The most exceptional among the young sisters were chosen for covert missions aimed at preserving Scandar's bloodline and preventing a repetition of the Red Decade. These "Daughters of Igraine" served as both protectors and, if necessary, bearers of the emperor's heirs, safeguarding the future of the empire. This secretive practice also served as a form of insurance against future political turmoil.
The Contemporary Political Landscape: Drogakan, with its diverse ethnicities, beliefs, and religions, experienced political fragmentation, leading to numerous factions and parties. Three major political blocs emerged: the Dove Faction, led by the revered Reverend Mothers of Filia Victoria, advocating peace and conservatism; the Eagle Faction (In this, the house of Angharad is one of the two major houses), representing the descendants of Scandar's earliest warriors, envisioning a new empire; and a Neutral Faction, consisting of diverse elements.
The journey in Hero by Chance marks a turning point in the Drogakan history, as the current emperor stands on the precipice of a political struggle. Will he prove himself worthy of his lineage? Or will the empire descend into chaos once more?

Beating the stage 100th in the Arena now grants access to Solaire General, whose unparalleled skills become available as the ultimate end-game unlock, allowing players to fully experience her strength.
A toggleable helmet feature has been introduced in the gallery, allowing you to showcase Grete and Angharad with or without their helmets.
Bug Fixes:
Resolved an issue where players with over 200 items were not receiving item drops during replays.
Addressed a bug in Chapter 4-6 that caused the siege tutorial to become stuck if users deviated from the provided instructions.
Fixed the scaling issue with Tia General’s size upon unlocking, preventing excessively oversized proportions.
Fixed the bug that caused getting stuck in an ambush where fire burns and kills the first group or both first groups, the next choice does not appear during combat.

Hotfix 1.6.2
Fixed the duplicated image error in special scenes when accessing via the shortcut "Play The DLC" button.
Spear Chariot increases charge bonus damage to make them more effective in penetrating enemy formations.
Red Dragon's damage is increased to allow them to have two play-styles: constantly stunning enemies when equipped with Skill Chance or becoming semi-tanks.
Fixed Cavalry and siege having critical damage but no effect.
Fixed the Flag icon in ambush being covered by enemy elephants.
Fixed a bug that caused the gem tutorial to get stuck when you had already fully equipped gems to all soldiers’ slots, causing the system to be unable to proceed.

Increase base’s HP when upgrading it.
Reduce the difficulty of the first 50 stages in the Arena.
Adjust the reward mechanism and the enemy base’s HP in the Arena.
Decrease the number of Traps and watch towers for enemy factions in the Arena to provide a better experience.
You can now insert multiple gems into an item at once.
Unlock an additional slot for Heroes in battle.
The game now remembers your speed option set in battle.
Fix the equipment loss bug (due to the initial inventory limit of 200 slots).
Fix minor bugs and improve some UI.
In the next update, we will add 50 more stages in the Arena.

⚙️ Patch Note 1.6.0 ⚙️
After carefully observing the feedback from the community, this quick update will help you get the achievements more easily. Some bugs and balance issues have been fixed, along with some exciting improvements to enhance the combat experience.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed the card drop rate so you can get them more easily.
Fixed the issue of repeated conversation in Cecilia and Tyra's special scene.
Fixed some Chinese text errors or incorrect character names.
Fixed the bug in the Merge and Fusion tutorial that caused a gold shortage and got players stuck.
Cecilia's dating 2 now appears correctly in Chapter 8-6.
Improvements:
Renee's combat skill can now destroy a random enemy tower.
Improved the effectiveness and clarity of Tia's combat skill.
Increase the duration of Grete's tactical skill.
Game Balances:
In the main game, normal mode from Chapter 3 to 9 has slightly reduced enemy troops, while DP and SP in battles have been slightly increased.
Siege battles: Increased damage and reduced health of catapults, significantly reduced the number of enemy troops flooding in when the walls are breached.
DLC: Reduced the damage of the enemy Assassin General to avoid unexpected deaths of your generals.
Increased the health of Knight generals to make them more effective on the battlefield.
And other minor bug fixes.
We have recently received some constructive negative reviews regarding the challenges present in both the main game and DLC. We understand the concerns and have encountered difficulties while addressing these adjustments.
