Lucah: Born of a Dream is now available in Spanish, courtesy of translator and localization specialist Marina Magnolia Venegas!
Update version 1.5.0 introduces localizations into Lucah: Born of a Dream! When starting the game for the first time, you will be prompted to pick a language:
If you already have a save file and wish to change the game language, you can also change the language anytime during game play from the game menu (Select on a gamepad/ESC on keyboard, default controls).
Localization options will allow us to add new languages to both this game and future games, and we already have another localization project in progress! I'm very excited for more people to have access to this game, and for the option to experience the game again in a new way.
Along with the Spanish localization, update 1.5.0 has a few important fixes:
Clearing the Descent now unlocks Turbo mode for all save files by default (thank you to speedrunner Durante for discovering this issue).
Fixed a bug that caused crashes during the Arcade section, particularly in the Switch version of the game (the Switch patch containing this fix will be out in the near future). While this didn't cause crashes in the PC version, this fix should still prevent some unintended behavior when defeating enemies quickly in the Arcade and the Descent.
Fixed a bug that would allow the Serah boss fight event to occur multiple times.
Fixed a bug that would cause the True Final Boss to become inactive during the final phase of their fight.
Additional minor tweaks and fixes.

LUCAH: THE DESCENT Free Expansion Available NOW! (Update 1.4.0)
Hello all,
It's the one-year anniversary of LUCAH: BORN OF A DREAM's release, and it's been an emotional and rewarding journey for myself and the team since. I have been floored by the kindness and sincerity in those of you who have come to join us, and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
To celebrate LUCAH's first birthday, I am proud to release THE DESCENT, a free, ultra-challenging expansion to LUCAH: BORN OF A DREAM. To access this standalone story, head to this mysterious door at the end of Track 7/the beginning of Track 8, and talk to the cultist beside it - they'll let you in, if you're persistent.
This expansion features a whole new story with new enemies, encounters, a new sacrament, and big secrets to discover...if you can survive it.
I look forward to seeing you all take these final steps with me. My time to say good bye to Lucah is soon, but until then, there's much to discover.

The Confirmation Update & Steam Sale

Lucah: Born of a Dream is discounted as part of the Steam Halloween Sale. If you’ve been holding off or had the game wishlisted for a while, now’s the perfect time to experience the game RPG Site described as “a breathtaking adventure filled with well-crafted characterization that doesn't pull any punches”. To commemorate this milestone, check out this incredible piece of promo art by Bluffy.
We have a major update for you all this week. Today marks the debut of the Confirmation Update, the first out of four major content updates to Lucah: Born of a Dream that will extend and expand the experience of the game.
One of the most requested features from the community has been Achievements, and the Confirmation Update adds twenty nine of them. If you’ve played through Lucah: Born of a Dream once thusfar, the Confirmation Update gives a perfect reason to return to the surreal dreamscape and master the combat and explore narrative branches you might have missed on your first route. If you load an existing save file, achievements will retroactively apply to your account.
We are also excited to announce that Steam Trading Cards are now supported for Lucah. By playing the game, you will have the chance to earn trading cards that you can craft into customizable rewards for your profile. If you’d like to join the community and connect with other fans, join our Discord server.

I've updated Lucah to version 1.1.5, which features some minor fixes and improvements, as well as some rebalancing of a few Nightmares. Enjoy!

- Unlocking Challenge difficulty in one save file unlocks Challenge difficulty for ALL save files.
- Late game mantra + boss tweaks.
- Fixed some sound bugs in Track 8.
- Fixed some minor graphical errors in Track 8.
- Fixed a graphical error related to Taunting.
- Fixed a bug that would cause the intro to one of the endings to not work as intended.
Next update will focus on adding Linux support.
