Take a look at our upcoming game BOY BEATS WORLD
We have been hard at work at our new game BOY BEATS WORLD since after the release of Luckslinger. We have come to the point of putting it wishlist-able on the steam store. With trailer, info and everything.
It's top down rhythm adventure game! Very different from Luckslinger but I'm sure our tone can still be felt.
We added (possibly the best aspect of Luckslinger) on many streaming services. Such as:
- Spotify - Google Play
- Itunes
- Deezer
- Amazon
- Pandora
And more! My personal favorites are "The Hed's House", "Letters from Clovercreek" and of course "Bullets & Beats"
If its not on your favorite streaming service yet, it should be in the next couple of days... I got a bit excited to decided to share it right when Spotify went up.
We’ve heard your suggestions and we're excited to announce the new patch that we've just released, the new patch contains the following:
The game now saves half of your Luck when you reach a checkpoint, so when you die you don’t lose all your Luck, but keep half of it. We changed this because when you lose all your Luck you lose part of your momentum and felt (too) punishing.
We offer 2 difficulties, instead of the ‘default’ difficulty. The difficulties are ‘New School’ and ‘Old School’.
New School: With the New school difficulty, the way that the checkpoints behave is changed. Now when you die three times, you don’t have to start from the beginning of the level again, you can continue from your last checkpoint.
Old School: The Old School difficulty works the same as the ‘default’ difficulty, so when you die three times you have to redo the whole level.
There is also a New Game+ (called ‘Side B’), which you can only unlock if you beat the game in Old School mode.
If you already have a save file for the game and want to switch difficulties, you don’t have to start all over. When you load up your file you can just go to the pause menu > settings, where you can switch the difficulty mode.
Hope you enjoy the new patch and that some of you can get ahead in Luckslinger :)
Luck patch, bug fixes and other small fixes
Hey all,
We've just released our first patch for Luckslinger, this patch includes:
A bugfix at the Blondies boss where she could get stuck behind your Shield
A small typo fix (burry > bury)
Some balancing changes, we made SadHill a bit easier
We made Sean a bit easier (first boss)
We made Goldberg a bit easier
Made some changed to RoadToClovercreek
Changed the luck-on-die, now when you reach a checkpoint, half of your Luck is saved. So when you die, you don't lose all your luck, but you will have half of the luck that you had when you reached the checkpoint
