Plan a party for next Sunday—Lumberhill is going to make a crash in the woods and will be available to play June 13! Make sure your calendar is clear and your axe is sharpened, things are going to get crazy once you put on your flannel shirt.
Wishlist the game now if you haven’t yet and prepare to get your butt kicked by nature.
Can you believe it? Lumberhill is coming out next week! We’ve already got our axes well sharpened and we’ve ironed our flannel shirts so much, they’re starting to wear through. We thought we’d take this calm before the chaotic storm of chopping that’s to come to give you some more details on the different game modes that Lumberhill has to offer as there are quite a few!
Co-op Mode
Up to four players can play in Lumberhill whether those four people are all sitting in the same room, are friends spread across the globe, or potential friends-to-be (AKA strangers) on the internet. So in other words, you can play Lumberhill locally or online. If you’re playing online, you can host a private game and invite your friends to play or you can host a public game that anyone can join (or join one yourself!).
PvP Mode
When you’ve had enough of your friend’s excuses as to why they keep delivering BIRCH logs instead of OAK logs to the sawmill and you keep only getting one star, try out PvP mode! In PvP mode, half of your team will take nature’s side and transform into a variety of wild animals while the other half will play as lumberjacks but basically in hardmode (as now you’re being specifically targeted). Playing on nature’s side, all you have to do is keep your lumberjack friends from completing even a single task before time runs out to win. You may find that chasing your friends off of cliffs is your favorite part of the game! PvP mode can be played locally or online in private and public games.
Solo Mode
If you’re looking for a quiet time in the woods on your own...well Lumberhill is pretty chaotic so we can’t say how quiet it will be, but we’ve got woods! Have everything done the way you think best when you play in solo mode with no one else in your way (besides nature of course). And don’t worry about the difficulty, tasks are adjusted to the amount of players in a game so you should be able to get the job done solo with just the right amount of challenge.
Which game mode sounds the most appealing to you? Are you planning on mostly playing online or locally? Let us know in the comments or on our Discord.
You’d better have a flannel shirt at hand—prepare to go into the woods to face absolute chaos solo or with your friends on June 13. Lumberhill’s being released during the PC Gaming Show!

Publisher All in! Games and developer 2BIGo, supported by ARP Games, present Lumberhill, a crazy multiplayer party game where lumberjacks try to get their tasks done while nature fights them every step of the way. Play in co-op, PvP, or solo mode!
In Lumberhill you will:
Put your teamwork skills to the test with up to 3 additional friends in local or online co-op or PvP, or play alone in solo mode
Have your butt kicked by nature
Complete tasks in a wide variety of challenging, time-limited levels
Deal with chaotic random events such as wildfires, meteor showers, and pirate attacks
Unlock new exciting worlds and a wide variety of skins as you progress
Find unexpected routes and ways of doing things
Throw pandas around and evade dinosaurs
Probably kick your friends off the map by accident a lot (or on purpose—we don’t judge)
