Halloween Update!

Hello!

October is already here, and you know what this means — all manners of scares and seasonal decorations crop up all over the place. You might be surprised, but the denizens of the Wing’s Rest are no exception to this!

Wing’s Rest is now adorned with lots of jack-o-lanterns and couple of other furnishings. Now the mellow blues and serenity of the abandoned shrine is punctuated with mischievous flicker of orange flames.



But not only that, Wing’s Rest also received a slight lighting improvements for the base version as well. Speaking of, this update brings some more improvements and fixes.

  • Wand projectiles change colors according to element.

Lunar Divination


We’d like to give a brief update on the new languages and Steam Trading cards we teased in June of this year.

First of all — localization process is its finale phase, the in-game testing. Since Lunacid features quite a bit of text written in a lot of different formats (item and spell descriptions, menus, dialogues, notes) we need to make sure that everything looks similar to the baseline English version in terms of visual presentation and clarity. It might take a bit more time, but don’t worry — the localization update is closer than you think.

As for the Steam Trading cards — these are almost ready, actually! Hopefully we can release them this month, if everything gets approved by Valve. Don’t forget to check out the full-sized card arts when they drop, as they’re not simply “small art now big”.

Once again, thank you so much for all your support and love. And remember, the Moon has its phases, and the story of Lunacid isn’t quite over just yet.

New Horizons — Publisher, more localizations and trading cards

It’s been some time since our last update, but just like the Moon we rise up again.

Next, we actually have a publisher now — Critical Reflex! Thanks to their support the game is about to get extended localization support. Together we can finally make the game more accessible and immersive for everyone, no matter what language you may speak.

First batch of translations will include:

  • Brazilian Portuguese
  • Chinese (Simplified)
  • Polish
  • Russian
  • Spanish (LATAM)
  • Spanish (Spain)
  • Japanese
  • Nyan


This is not the whole list of translations that are planned, but these languages will be integrated into the game in the upcoming weeks. If your language of preference is missing — let us know in the comments!

Another upcoming addition alongside the localization is finally getting Steam Trading Cards. All of your favorite characters are getting their new portraits, so here’s a small teaser.



Alongside the localization patch there will also be various bug fixes and small enhancements, such as a certain weapon finally displaying which element it’s casting.

Version 1.2.0 is out in the public beta!

I've refined melee combat in this one and retooled a lot of things so it will only be available in the open beta for now.

December is almost upon us and with it, I bring you a new Lunacid patch!



Wow this game is broken, and it all falls on me. I seriously had a bunch of bugs because sometimes I called a class Royal and sometimes Royalty.
Sorry for all that, but I will continue to find and fix bugs as I can!

This patch will also introduce Christmas in Lunacid, from December 10th till the new year. Thank you all for your amazing continued support, may you have happy lucid dreams!
