We hope you've been having an amazingly disturbing time in the village of Saint Rhodes.
We have read all your much appreciated feedback and reviews, and we've tried to implement as much of it as possible.
This update covers various enhancements to puzzles, lighting requests, and general improvements.
In detail our first post launch update addresses the following items:
- Dark areas in the town were adjusted. Overall darkness was decreased. - The shed key is placed on the documents. - House-doors are less likely slam-shut now. - George only says “Blocked” line after a couple tries. - Fixed a bug where the paste could be used multiple times on the catacombs door. - Shadow entities summon less frequently around the player. - “Magically locked door objective” is only taken when the player actually checks the catacombs door in Adam’s house.
Warning, the following items contain spoilers about the game: - Fusebox handle can be taken directly from the swinging chandelier. - Sequences 358 and 853 unlock the small-box lock. - Room #1 Small-door also gets locked until the player picks Liz’s horn and ashes both. - A couple of order numbers were placed on lab-door puzzle hint part. - Liz may appear at Room #3 window after taking the Rhodes house key. She may also appear upstairs foyer upon player returns from the well. - Liz foyer appearance scare after taking the Room #1 key improved. Now the light above the phone also flickers to make player more aware about her presence in the hall. - The front door slams after taking the handle from the chandelier, if player is walking toward to it and of course it was opened.

Lunacy: Saint Rhodes - Let's Play by a friend of the studio!
Hi Rhodians,
You can join us this Tuesday the 20th of June for our Steam Nextfest Livestream!
We'll be streaming a pre-recorded Lunacy: Saint Rhodes Let's Play by a friend of the studio, however feel free to ask any questions you may have, as the publishers are live in the chat!
As we inch closer to the release date, we have important news about Lunacy: Saint Rhodes to share with all our highly appreciated wishlisters.
As many of you have noticed, development has taken a long time. For the sake of transparency, we want to share some behind-the-scenes information, which explains part of the situation.
A couple of years into development, we determined that the current development path was not going to deliver the game we originally envisioned, and we were in danger of needing to cancel the entire project.
To avoid this risk we, as the publishers, decided that it was best for the project, and ultimately for you, our loyal fans, to take over the project and continue working on it with a new development partner -Stormling Studios.
Since this development switch, we have all worked hard to retain the essence of what made the early concept and the history of Saint Rhodes so captivating, and we’re proud of the final result and the fact that the project is now heading towards a close.
We thank you all for your continued support, and we look forward to welcoming you to the town of Saint Rhodes very soon.
You will not be disappointed…
Lunacy: Saint Rhodes — Steam Scream Fest Demo
Hello everyone,
It has been a while since the last development update on Lunacy: Saint Rhodes. Thankfully, we come bearing good news! We know many of you have been waiting for a demo, and what better time to deliver on that than around Halloween?
During the Steam Scream Fest (today until November 1st), you will be able to get a first taste of what the quaint town of St Rhodes has to offer. The demo will be about a 20 minute experience, depending on how many of the sights you decide to take in. We hope you have a good and spooky (mostly spooky) time in St Rhodes.
Note: elements of the game have been shifted around for the purposes of this demo. The full game will have different pacing, scenes, etc.
If you have any feedback, feel free to post it on the Steam forums, or join us on Discord!
As for the overall development timeline for Lunacy, we're aiming to deliver the full game to you in 2023. We'll be back with more news on that soon™, but for now: enjoy the demo!
Update on Lunacy: Saint Rhodes' release date.
Hello everyone,
Some of you may have noticed that we’ve been quiet lately regarding an exact release date. That is because, unfortunately, we have decided to delay the release of Lunacy: Saint Rhodes.
The reason for that is simple: we don’t feel like the current state of the game lives up to our expectations. We’ve decided to spend more time on a number of aspects of the game, such as monster design, story, lighting, and shaders. We believe this will ultimately make for a better Lunacy.
Below are some examples of what we’ve been working on.
We apologize to those of you who were looking forward to playing Lunacy this holiday season, but trust that the result will be worth the added wait.
It’s back to the grindstone for us now! As for a new release date -- we won’t make the same mistake again, so we’ll revert to “when it’s done™” until further notice.
- The Lunacy team.
