Unfortunately, I had to pause the development of Lying Souls for the last few months due to personal reasons. Now I'm back at work and want to continue developing the game and, above all, keep my promises. Now, you can expect the content update and the planned Chapter 2 in the next few weeks, which will continue the story of the game.

Chapter 2
In the next chapter, the story continues and takes you on a more immersive journey than the previous chapters. There is more for the player to do, more to explore and, above all, more to be scared of. Here are some impressions of Chapter 2:
Even after Lying Souls, the journey is not over.

Lying Souls™ - Available Now!
Lying Souls - Play Now!
I am happy to announce that Lying Souls is now available on Steam and you can play it right away. As you may notice later, there is already an info for upcoming content for the game. This content will be available for free in the near future for everyone who owns Lying Souls.
I don't have much to say. Except that Lying Souls will be released on Steam on December 20. A trailer will follow in the next few days. Get ready to uncover a mysterious family story. I'll be in touch soon!
Hello everyone, I have good news for everyone who is waiting for Lying Souls™. First of all, I want to let you know that I am in the final stages of production for Lying Souls™, so the game is well on its way.
The year 2022 is coming to an end, and soon the Christmas season will begin. So not only can you look forward to Christmas in the coming weeks, but also to Lying Souls™. The game will be officially finished and released in December, before Christmas.
I'll let you know the exact date of the release in time, there are still some things to be cleared up before the date can be fixed. I hope you have a little patience, I want the game to be exactly what I imagined.
Thank you for the support until today. In December the journey only begins.
Hello everyone, I'm getting back to you personally after a long break to give you some information about the development, the release and the team.
Again an information about myself, I am and was the only developer of this project and received only intermittent support and encouragement in some places. I just used services for music composition and translation. Otherwise Lying Souls is all alone my project.
This will certainly remain so in the near future. That was also part of the reason for the longer break now. I still want to realize my vision, even if I'm not working with 10 other developers now. Of course, the whole thing takes a lot of time, which is why the release of Lying Souls has been postponed several times.
I've made some important decisions about Lying Souls, or much more the game studio itself, in the last few days. Actually relatively positive for everyone who wants to see Lying Souls and Troxy Studios become something.
So, but now enough background information about it, we come to Lying Souls. Development is going on at full speed now and will probably show some progress quickly, which I will also present to you. The schedule for Lying Souls will not be postponed. I also want to clarify as many open questions as possible about the game so that the whole thing finally becomes a little clearer.
Lying Souls
Chapters
As mentioned earlier, the chapters have now been adapted to the new plan from the game. You start with the prologue, which gives you a good idea of what to expect, and then you get the chance to play chapter 1 and then chapter 2.
Test version, beta, keys?
Yes, there will be some keys for a test version of Lying Souls before the release. There are no plans for a public beta or anything like that at this time. Keys will be given to specially selected people, but also to random members of the community. The tests simply help us fix bugs ahead of time.
Languages
The game will be available in several languages. At release, German and English will almost certainly be included. The plan is to add Spanish, French and perhaps Chinese in the future. Other languages may be added also.
Price
Until recently, it was still unclear wether Lying Souls will be offered for free on Steam or not. I have now decided not to offer Lying Souls for free. The exact price at release is not yet clear. What is certain is that you will get the full game for the price.
Important notice
There is no official assessment for an age restriction for Lying Souls yet. However, after some consultation with various people, the minimum age of 16 is recommended and the game is not suitable for players with mental problems or similar, as the game deals with very critical issues.
The next days there will be more information and new pictures on our Discord! If you don't want to miss it, check it out there. Have a nice week and I'll be back in the next post.
