Event Details

• During the entire event period, log in to receive the quest [Event] Snowball Fight Event.
• Talk to Holiday Joe near the Unicorn Statue in Dunbarton to learn more about the event and how to participate.
  • Completing the will earn you the following rewards:
    • 5,000 EXP.
• You will also receive a daily quest [Event] I Wish I Was a Snowballer.
  • Complete 5 rounds of the Snowball Event (win or lose) to receive the following rewards:
    • AP 5 Potion
    • **NEW** Holiday Joe Gift of Gratitude
• Talk to Holiday Joe to solo queue for the event; make sure to stay outdoors in Dunbarton to keep your place in queue.
  • After 16 players have registered, the event will start automatically.
• Once inside, you'll be divided into two teams of 8 for either Red or Blue Team.
  • If you have anything in your Fashion Tab, you'll wear what you currently have on. Otherwise, Holiday Joe will provide you with a snazzy robe suited for the occasion.
• The goal is to destroy the enemy team's snowman before they destroy yours.
• Defeating an enemy will earn you gold, which in-turn, spend on items to help turn the tide of battle.
• There are 2 control nodes located on the map to allow you to spawn closer to the action, as long as you control the node.
• Once a snowman has been destroyed, the match ends. Be sure to talk to Holiday Joe after to receive your prize!
  • Members on the winning side will receive a Holiday Joe Gift of Gratitude.

• A "Related Quest" description has been added to item tooltips.

• We improved the character appearance preset provided when first creating a character.
  • When creating a new character, the color of the premium newbie wear and shoes worn will be fixed.

  • These changed appearances can be selected for free when creating a new character.

  • The probability of a rank increase for Precise Reforging Tools will be increased to the same probability as the Exquisite Reforging Tools.

【 Developer Comments 】
This Astrologer update also brings the addition of the Scythe weapon, which is expected to increase demand for Reforging Tools. Accordingly, in order to alleviate some of the burden of using Reforging Tools, the rank upgrade probability of paid Reforging Tools has been increased. In order to narrow the gap between paid and free reforges, Precise Reforging Tools have been adjusted to have the same probability of being used for rank upgrades as the upgraded Exquisite Reforging Tools.

The following bugs have been fixed:

• Several typo fixes this month across swaths of the game. From further unifying Rudolf to Rudolph on a few items, fixes to assorted quest texts, or more- we will always search high and low to improve the script quality for Mabinogi. Thank you, as always, for your reports!
• The suite of Mysterious [Color] Bags have been renamed slightly in the following format:

• After an unfortunate mix-up, Edern and Gleywas have demanded that the versatile Kraken Sucker be labeled appropriately. The following items have been renamed:

  • The Kraken Sucker for Cooking purposes will be named Fresh Kraken Sucker.

• The skill description of the Ninja skill Smokescreen has been clarified to better describe its effect.
