Producer’s Letter: 2025 Spring and Summer Content Roadmap
Dear Milletians,
Here we are in March, and it has already been a fantastic year for Mabinogi. Firstly, I must wish us all a happy 17th Anniversary! All of us have made strides this year in our own ways, making Mabinogi a comfortable home together. As we welcome the spring season, I want to take a moment to look back at some of our highlights from the past several months and share a few of my thoughts on what we can expect in the upcoming summer months, too!
We’ve been delighted to release many different content updates and events over the past year in Erinn. Fantasy Life Updates have encouraged Milletians to seek greater achievements in combat, fashion, and life. What are your proud achievements this year? Did you craft your best weapon? Dye your favorite outfit? Tend to your Homestead or Moonlight Island?
In my IRL Homestead garden, I've been learning a lot while sowing and planting. As I was planting radishes, tomatoes, and marigolds alongside each other, I couldn’t help but giggle while thinking of Ruairi, Tarlach, and Mari. Mabinogi is always on my mind, and I am grateful for it. It has given me the strength and courage to try new things, express myself, and be proud and hopeful for those around me, too. In Erinn, the Astrologer updates, the recent crossover event, and the Library of Secrets have all been met with such creativity and love. I hope these stories have made lasting memories for you, as they have for me. Fate Astrologer touched my heart deeply, and both using Astral Imaging and collecting cards have been a lot of fun—especially getting to share them with friends and the GMs! Meanwhile, the charming stories surrounding the Argontel Caravan reminded me of my early days in Mabinogi – spending time with friends, delving into dungeons, and exploring the world.
In the next half of 2025, updates focused on skill balancing and QoL for combat content will be introduced. Meanwhile, we will also be improving accessibility for various systems, including Partner pets, Party and Chat, and improving the experience of Guilds. Do you have a goal you are working towards next, Milletian? As we grow and improve our talents, it is always important to remember that each new skill or interest is fostered by learning and strength, bolstering you to overcome challenges through trial and error.
With the launch of G26, we began Chapter 8: Winds of Fate and met Aine, Delga, and other new faces. This coming summer, we plan to release the second installment of Chapter 8, Generation 27! This update will introduce a challenging new dungeon, Bri Leith, which offers a new tier of weapons to empower the game's many talents. And speaking of, we have two new hybrid talents on the way: the Sacred Guardian and Explosive Vanguard Arcana, introducing new styles of play to Mabinogi by allowing players to specialize their role as the party's dutiful protector, or take to the spear with explosive finishers.
Doki Doki Island is a longtime favorite for Milletians and the Mabinogi Team. The island received a major revamp last year, with the scent of cotton candy trees in the Plaza of Blessing making for a vivid gathering place for meetings with friends both old and new. The stories from the event offer new perspectives and bring us closer to the world of Tuatha de Danann and to each other. We hope that by adjusting and improving this and other classic content, we can refresh the Milletian experience and continue to inspire self-expression. In the Summer, there will be even more events than usual, so I expect that there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
And last but certainly not least, the long-awaited Guild Renewal is coming! While past technical challenges have caused a delay in bringing Guild updates to Mabinogi, we've been working hard behind the scenes to get everything ready and will be implementing several changes to the Guild system all at once. We're hoping these improvements will provide an immediate difference in how you manage and interact with your Guild, fostering connections with friends and guildmates to make Mabinogi a more social experience.
It’s always exciting to present all of these content updates to you, and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings for Mabinogi and our community. Thank you for your continued support and dedication.

An issue was fixed where the Warm and Conceited Maid Partner Shops would appear as empty. Some say this was the impact of the Clumsy Maid, but surely none would hear such slander.
Glewyas, tired from politely correcting nobles in the proper way to say his name, was accidentally taking Gold in lieu of Food Court Seals. He has been ordered to get a good night's rest.
Pan is still learning the ropes after taking over the Check-In Attendance from Irusan. He made a small mistake with the date on the stamps, causing them to appear as if he had done this months in the past! He's fixed his mistakes, and hopes you wool forgive him.

Options Menu
The Options Menu has been overhauled and updated to better assist Milletians with their settings.
Tabs/Categories in the Options have been re-labeled and reorganized.
All customizable options have been rearranged to fit the updated tab/category.
Many options now have hover text to further explain their functionality.

Clicking “Do not show again” will prevent the pop-up from appearing again.
NPC Shop Menu
The UI of NPC Shops has been changed to a “list” format, allowing for better visibility on items, such as cost, inventory size, and more.
You can alternate between the two styles by clicking on “Switch to Bag” / “View as List” in the top right corner of the Shop Menu.
A search function has been added.
The shop search function is case sensitive.
You can now sell up to 14 items at once when selling to an NPC.
The repurchase limit from an NPC shop has been increased from 10 to 30.
Title Menu
Title Menu UI has been revamped.
Improved search functionality to now include effects from titles.
i.e. searching “Speed” will bring up “the Busy” title.
The title search function is not case sensitive.
Expanded the window for easier viewing of all titles.
Added a “Favorites” button to have your favorite titles be automatically listed at the top.
You can still right-click a title to add/remove from the favorites’ list.
A “Preview Effects” window has been added, allowing for visibility of 2nd Title Visual Effects.
Other Simplenogi Changes:
Talent Title icons and 2nd Title icons will now be vertically centered based on all tags displayed in the name area (Guild, Talent, Name, etc.)
Spirit Transformation Liqueur (Invisible) is now available in Berched’s shop in Taillteann.
When applied, all visual effects from the Spirit Weapon will be invisible.
When defeating (most) non-boss monsters, the name will now be hidden and its body will turn transparent before disappearing.
The Combat Log will no longer list when you’ve made a critical hit on an enemy.
Auto-pathing
Auto-pathing has now been added to the game as an improvement to the auto-navigation system for Milletians and their Pets.
When clicking a location on the mini-map, a set route will automatically appear, allowing your character to run or ride all the way to its destination without making a 2nd marker.
Auto-pathing is only available in the overworld and is not available in some areas or conditions such as:
Commercing
Dungeons
Shadow Missions
Stellar Citadel
Any Doki Doki Flight
Auto-pathing will remember your pathing when on a mount and alternating between ground and sky.
The auto-pathing must be set before taking flight.

The Library of Secrets has been added as a Deluxe Background for Astral Imprinting.
The name for the visual-only halo for Blaanid's Blessing has been renamed from Blessing Effect to Halo Effect. As this drop-down selection was always visual-only, not the strength of Blaanid's Blessing received, we hope that this better communicates as such.
The death-defying technique and Cwn Annwn skill, Defiance and Veil of Mystique, have had their priorities altered. When the conditions are met, Defiance will now activate before Veil of Mystique.
All non-gold currency will no longer be able to be stored in your bank.
Note: Any non-gold currency currently stored in your bank account will be automatically moved to the character based on the tab the currency is stored in.
These include currency such as:
Dungeon Vouchers (1st Voucher, 2nd Voucher, etc.)
Adventure Seals

Thank you all for your continued reports! A lot of smaller text fixes here and there with this patch, notably updating the descriptions for Upgrade Stones to better indicate their use, polishing up text for Fate Astrologer, shortening some of the lengthier buff-related ticker messages, and correcting the necessary book for rank 3 Rest's upgrade. Also, a new description for Cilantro's favorite food!
While we were updating the UIs, several text boxes have been updated to better fit the text inside the field.
An issue has been fixed that was causing the Set Effect Bash Enhancement +1 Scrolls and Set Effect Windmill Enhancement +1 Scrolls to not work on the following items:

Bow-wielding Humans of Erinn, your time has come. The issue causing Arrow Revolver to lock characters in place when the burst fire was cast in extreme rapid succession with other attacks has been fixed. Nock your arrows, fire them well!
Under rare circumstances, players could find themselves with two Homestead Houses. The issue has been fixed, allowing players to remove the faulty house.
Despite this sounding affluent, this would lock them out from doing most things relating to the House.
Effie found a few boxes of clothes in the back of her shop- these items have returned back for purchase in her Shop.
Although he's a star, the Treasure Hunter Ace Talent was unintentionally giving 2x Skill Training to Fate Astrologer skills. This has been corrected.
Corrected the listed Collection Categories on the Black Moon Commanders Compact Doll Bag Box. The Bag is unchanged.
2/13 Maintenance
The issue causing Astral Frames to display incorrectly (missing subjects/stickers/etc) has been fixed. The issue has occurred one last time with this week's maintenance as we corrected the root of the issue; Astral Frames will stop resetting starting next week. Frames that are currently displaying incorrectly cannot be automatically fixed, and we apologize for the inconvenience.
2/27 Maintenance
The Black Rose Wig (F) from Tolly's Fashion event was not properly removed- we snatched your wig in this maintenance.
Known Bugs:
For those truly dedicated to Commerce and keeping Erinn stocked up- when reaching over 4.3 billion ducats, the inventory window will incorrectly return the value to 0.
This is a display only issue- if you obtained another 1 billion ducats after this, the display would show 1b but you would correctly have 5.3b.
The props used for Special Idle Motions are currently showing incorrectly at the start of animation cycles.
There are currently issues causing the Blacklist to not work as expected for some players.
Under periodic conditions, Milletians will be temporarily unable to duel other Milletians.
There is an issue with the in-game Guild list not populating with guilds.
