To celebrate Halloween and Steam Scream Fest, we are releasing a bunch of new character skins for you to play in MACE: Mapinguari's Temple!
In order, they are the Living Ghost, Pumpkin Head, Baroness Von Fangs, Sir Frankendude, Saci, Ligma Bone Boy and Wichy Michy! If you are in our discord, you will notice some references!
But wait! There's more!
We present you an extra character skin for the game: the Hipster Hacker! You might have noticed him in the Scout image during the voting for the new role. Although the Scout role didn't made it (for now), the Hipster Hacker is here for you to play with!
Also, regarding the new role, we are still working on implementing the Psion role in the game and, as soon as we have any news regarding it, we will be sure to share it here and on our Discord (if you are not there yet, please do join us here!).

Hey guys!
Are the hunts for the cultist going well? What about your deaths at the hands of the Mapinguari? We hope they are not happening because your ghost friend pushed a barrel in front of you, because that would suck (and you can totally do that in-game)!
But be ready, for we are announcing more details about our next update on MACE: Mapinguari's Temple! That's right! We still don't have an official date for this update, but we are very excited about it :D Not only that, we want you to help us decide a few things about it!
The first thing we are choosing is which of these three new roles is going to be added in the game! Yeah, new roles! That's going to give you guys even more options when playing MACE! We are going to choose the role based on a voting in our discord server!
The voting ends on July 22nd, a Friday. Then, we are going to count votes and, then, have our winner!
Without further delay, here are the possible roles!
Do you think it's unfair that only the Cultist be able to use the tunnels? Would you like to use them too? Or maybe you want to make your friends go crazy thinking you are the Cultist when you are only a crazy dude who likes getting dirty with earth? If any of those is true, the Tunneler is your choice!
All that stuff about crystals and spiritual energy has its adepts, and being a Psion makes you one of them. Be ready to do astral projections and explore the Temple from the view of the death. Be careful, however, for there are many dangers when you leave your body helpless while exploring the Beyond...
Sometimes, you are just tired of carrying idols around to only bump on a wall and have your head devoured right then and there. The Scout helps you with that! Armed with an individual map and a set of great abilities for exploration, the Scout will be a great help for the Explorers and a pain in the ass for the Cultist.

First of all, we would like to thank everyone for the feedback sent so far! In this patch, we have done the following fixes and changes:
Gameplay changes:
The key now has a smaller weight, so you walk faster while carrying it.
Made the distance for in-game voice volume decay greater, so you can better hear other players.
UX changes
Now you can press ESC to both open and close the in-game menu.
Bugfixes:
Removed some unused commands from the control settings screen.
Fixed an issue with the "Microphone Always On".

Announcing the release date!
Hey everyone! Eduardo from Tavern Tale here! Hope you are all doing fine and that you were able to enjoy our demo that was online up to April 4th. Now, we have good news to share (both if you didn't played the demo or if you are eager to enjoy the game again)! Ready?
We are very happy to announce that MACE: Mapinguari's Temple will be released at April 29th! We have been polishing the game and adding new content based on Steam Next Fest feedback. We are eager to see you guys playing it as soon as it releases! Be ready to hunt some idols, run from the Mapinguari and discover who is the Cultist!
