Buffs: Griffins from +4 to +5 damage each attack. Arch Angels passive heal from 40 to 50 every 2nd second. Frost Giant passive freeze chance from 30% to 37%.
Nerfs: Necromancer attacks to summon Undead Dwarf from 6 to 7 (Still summons after the first attack in start of the round).
Two new achievements: Defeat Arena on brutal or harder with max 800 Blood Shards spent on powerups. Defeat Forest on brutal or harder with max 800 Blood Shards spent on powerups.

Patch 2.4.0: Unit buffs, spell powerup buffs and new achievements
Unit buffs: Cultists from 6 to 8 damage. Priests from 7 to 9 damage. Cherubs passive heal from 10 to 15 health regenerated every 2 seconds.
Spell powerup buffs: Spell damage powerup from +13% to +20% per rank. Healing powerup from +17% to +30% per rank.
New achievements: Each mage now has two new achievements (In total 20 new achievements): 1: Survive arena endgame round 5 on impossible or harder with each mage. 2: Survive arena endgame round 5 on +475% with each mage.
Recruit a hero to lead your army, and use spells while they fight for you. Mage & Monsters 2 is an active auto battler, where you choose to either enhance the strength of your hero, reinforce the might of your army, or increase the power of your spells.
Patch 2.3.2: Spells now on average gives twice as much gold
You now on average receive twice as much gold when picking or upgrading spells: Gold received when picking or upgrading a spell at level 1-10 from 0-21 to 10-32. Gold received when picking or upgrading a spell at level 11-20 from 0-26 to 15-37. Gold received when picking or upgrading a spell at level 21-30 from 0-31 to 20-42.

- Fixed a bug with player skeletons sometimes causing the enemy AI to not work correctly (it would keep trying to move towards a dead skeleton).
Patch 2.3.0: New mage, 2 new power ups and spell buffs
- New melee mage Sicaria: Cannot cast spells. Starts with 1 Cherub and 1 Paladin. All melee units have 20% faster attack speed.
New power ups: - New power up that gives each unit a chance to spawn skeletons when dying. Higher tier units have higher chance of spawning when dying. Tier 1 20%, tier 2 40%, tier 3 60%, tier 4 80% and tier 5 100%. - New powerup that allows you to gain up to 70 bonus gold each round, when you have 700 gold or more.
Spell buffs: - Frost Shock level 3 from area increased by 20% to area increased by 35%. - Tornado starting cooldown from 9 seconds to 7 seconds. - Impending Doom level 2 from dealing 30% damage to your own units to now only dealing 15% damage to your own units. - Impending Doom level 3 upgrade from cooldown reduced by 20% to cooldown reduced by 30%. - Teleport cooldown increase each time the spell is cast from 1.5 seconds to 0.75 seconds. - Teleport level 4 max units teleported from 15 to 25.
Patch 2.2.2: Dwarven Construct only damages enemy units
Patch 2.2.2:
- Dwarven Construct text from “damages all nearby units” to “damages all nearby enemy units”. This unit never did friendly fire damage, so the previous text was incorrect. - Made it more clear that you unlock forest challenge when defeating endgame round 5. - Fixed various text issues. - Now shows once at level 8 that you can move spells around, by clicking and holding down left mouse button on the spell you wish to move. -Fixed 1000 Blood Shard achievement sometimes not activating when Blood Shards was set on All. -Made it more clear that you can remove the limit on Blood Shards in options. - Fixed a bug that could cause a unit to survive impending doom.
