After a long time of uncertainty, Magna Graecia is finally available in Early Access. Thanks to the various suggestions of the demo version players in the fall of 2022, it is now playable enough to be offered to public :)
What's new:
Graphical enhancements
Better soundtrack and ambience
New optimized models for buildings
Upgrading to a third level
Tile highlighting on adjacencies
Level up indicator when forming a triangle
...more!
There are, however, some imperfections. A lot of players notice the difficulty to distinguish different buildings. A small update, bringing pop-up indicators that specify each object's level, was delivered already to solve this. Some people also suggest porting the game to Linux. It will be done, as soon as we're ensured that the game works steadily on this OS.
Today was released an Early Demo version of Magna Graecia, which shows its core gameplay features, as part of the Steam Next Fest. The road to a Full release is thorny. There is still a lot to be done - from the UI enhancement and implementation of plenty of new features to optimization of the game for low-end PCs.
Throughout this week the demo version will get small updates and patches every day. It is planned to make it available for macOS and Linux users too. It should be noted that there may be disgusting bugs - please report them to the specially created thread in the discussions.
I am happy to announce that Magna Graecia is going to participate in the Steam Next Fest from October 1 to 7. It means that you'll get a FREE DEMO version of the game during the festival to try it out yourself.
So add the game to your wishlist if you haven't already :)
