The Change of Mandeshire and the Altai Creation Legend
Hello everyone, we haven't been able to share an update from our Steam page for a long time. Welcome to our blog post today, where we will provide very useful information about both Turkish Mythology and Mandeshire.
Mandeshire With New Updates
To be honest, we failed during the demo process! We accept this, and for this reason we have completely changed the game from scratch. Although we can't count how many times this happened, it is very important for us that Mandeshire is a good game and you enjoy playing this game.
Updates
Player controls have been developed from scratch.
The camera system has been developed from scratch.
The inventory system has been developed from scratch.
The art style of the game has been changed to stylized as a whole.
Enemy AI was developed from scratch.
Combat system has been developed from scratch and tested many times.
The whole UI has been completely changed.
Most of the game's physics system problems have been fixed.
The visual effects have been completely changed.
The map design has been greatly improved.
Altai Creation Legend
In fact, if we leave aside the updates, today we will talk about the Altai Creation epic, in which the story of Mandeshire is also mentioned in our blog post. Taking the floor from our team leader Can, please allow me, the historian of the team, Kağan, and my esteemed teammate, the cinematographer Özgür, to tell you about the Altai Epic of Creation.
The Altai Epic of Creation is known as one of the oldest epics in the oral culture of Turkish tribes. It is a story that belongs to the Altai-Yakut Turks living around Southern Siberia and contains a lot of mythological elements. There are two different versions of the epic, prepared by the Russian Turcologist Radloff with extensive research in the 19th century, and arranged by the Russian missionary Vebitskiy while living among the Altai tribes. Aside from its originality and systematicity being fascinating, it also contains important predictions about Turkish mythology, as it is an epic of creation.

The epic tells how the creator god Ülgen created the world and man, and the series of conflicts between Ülgen and the evil god Erlik. While the version compiled by Verbitskiy is quite original and plain on this dispute, there are similarities to the biblical creation story, such as Erlik's deception of people in the creation epic edited by Radloff. This is somewhat surprising when we consider that Vebitskiy was a Christian missionary.
When the erlik was created, it wandered, dusted and had fun, Days passed, and suddenly he stopped and said: “— Why should I not be, higher than God, Why God be in heaven alone! Why shouldn't I be, mighty and mighty, Is this a fault, if I was just born!” Going further, his eyes filled with greed, Jealous of God, he became an eternal enemy.
In general, epics were a source of entertainment for Altai Turks, told on special days or ceremonies, aiming to improve their time. Various hero stories, creatures with different characteristics would attract people's attention and create an activity. As a matter of fact, the Altai Epic of Creation is quite different from the epics used for these purposes, as it is a cosmogonic story. The Epic of Creation is much more special than the others because it is the explanation that the Altai Turks bring to existence and the source on which the good-evil balance is based. It can also be claimed to be a source of inspiration for other epics, as it tells how the earth, seas and living things were created.

A New Beginning!
A New Beginning!
We have been developing Mandeshire for a long time. Before talking about the news, we would like to talk about why the development process is slow:
1) Since we are an independent game developer studio, it is really hard to create budget.
We are unable to use kickstarter or similar systems, since our region is not supported by most of them.
2) This game is not about making money. It is about telling the forgotten story of Turkish Mythology.
[I]That's why we are using iterative development to find anything that is not good for the game.
3) We are just three people that develop the game.
We have no income from the project. That's why we are not giving our all time to the project.
4) Sometimes it is hard to find your mistakes.
We know that, there are lots of missing attributes in the game and we ask you to help us.
Developer's note: We are not planning to release the game until it is really ready for release.

Graphical Update
Rendering and shader problems fixed by a dozen of updates and will be improved in the next versions of the game.
Art Style Update
We have changed the art style of the game from top to bottom. We are using stylized instead of low poly art style right now.
Gameplay Update
New fight styles
New combo systems
New hotbed
New health and mana bar
Models:
All of the models in our game is being upgraded from low poly to stylized art style.
General Updates and Improvements
Game just got the third mechanical update:
AI now has different levels and styles (Smart - Not so Smart, Attacker - Defender)
AI behavior types (These behavior types will be different than each other and we are expecting it to bring a new and powerful gameplay experience to the game.)
AI now able to predict the movements of the player and better dodging system is implemented. (An AI that is acting with the player movement and making gameplay difficult than before.)

Mandeshire Detailed Renovation and Development Process
Hello followers of Mandeshire!
We know, you have been waiting for Mandeshire's release for a very long time. However, we have encountered various problems due to an error in the game engine we have been using. Because of this error, some of the settings we made were deleted and there were great problems on the game balance.
Apart from that, the demo showed us that we need to follow a more cautious and good development process. The process of fixing bugs in the demo is ongoing, and we plan to update the demo publicly soon. Regarding the new demo, we are considering adding various maps and interesting mechanics to the game that we want everyone to try.
As the Parma Games team, our only wish is for Mandeshire to come out as a game that you, our esteemed followers, will love to play. For this reason, we have to make some delays, we apologize to everyone in advance for this and wish everyone a good day.
Mandeşire Demo Sürüm 1.17.2 Güncellemesi
Hello everybody!
We have been working for the last 2 days to update Mandeshire Demo.
Finally we fixed some critical and important bugs in the game. But we are not going to stop for the upcoming week to fix every possible bug in the game.
Note: We know that there are some critical issues in the demo, we will not slow down and fix the bugs as soon as possible.
Note2: Camera is currently being fixed right know, we had our discussions
These bugs are fixed in Game Ver, Demo 1.17.*.
