Update 3.8.10

Fixing the last fixes... should be final by now.

  • Especially updated the combo-system and display
  • Powerups are now only collectible when on ground
  • Fixed powerups not disappearing on collection in some cases
  • Many more fixes & improvements

Update 3.8.6 - final on probation

If there are no more bugs popping up in the extended testing phase, this might be the final version to publish.

  • New intro animation
  • Fixed "Catch the chicken"-mode, scoring works again now
  • Added attract mode videos to the intro screen
  • Many smaller fixes & improvements

Update 3.8.4 - new intro

The last bugs are fixed, new intro screen, everything polished. This might be it and we are well in time. Nevertheless this version will be tested for a while until the variants for consoles (PS5, Xbox and Switch) will be built.

  • New game intro, randomly day or night mode
  • Tendrils can now catch fire
  • Player indicators are now on by default
  • Tons of small fixes and improvements

Update 3.8.3 - last few fixes

Manic Archers is in the last testing phase and many smaller issues were found and fixed.
There might be a few more smaller updates delivering fixes that might pop up.

  • Keyboard input for Join Game Menu fixed
  • Teams can be set again for AI players
  • New player indicators (toggle via settings)
  • New Logo animation
  • Fixed combo display
  • Many fixes and improvements

Current status - almost finished

We are currently testing the game intensively to locate and eventually fix the last bugs.
The game should be finalized very soon and after another testing phase official publishing should take place.

Apart from that we are planning to do some more artworks to support more intense marketing.

Update 3.8.2


  • Updated the startscreen image
  • Collecting the ray- and fireballshot-powerup twice now prolongs the time
  • The playerfireball-powerup is now collectable if player is shooting rays and ends the rays
  • Added more debris on toss-collisions
  • Many more fixes and improvements

Update 3.8.1 - Player portraits


  • Finally proper player portraits
  • New events showing the progress on the world map
  • Fixed a bug in the join game menu where player 1 caused inputs for player2
  • Little player portraits in game in the corners which signify status
  • New slowdown time on dash deflects or fireball deflects
  • Dashing into a dashing player now causes funny effects
  • Fixed a bug in coop-map sequence
  • Many fixes and improvements


Basically the game is now finished to 95%. Additions will be non-breaking i.e. more maps, small bug fixes and other improvements but that is about it.

Big overhaul - almost completed


  • Generally to many improvements to list
  • Fixed a nasty bug which resulted in laggy/sluggish movement/shooting
  • New map selection involving a world map
  • Fists are now tendrils
  • New map "Cloud Pass"
  • Dashing while dashing now ends the dash
  • You can now dash while being tossed
  • New animations everywhere
  • Enemies now indicate player detection
  • You cannot ice yourself anymore with the frost arrows
  • Fireball super is now faster but also stepped in movement
  • Catapult arrows now have a short warm up phase
  • Warnings on the ground are now additionally indicated by white circles
  • New shock arrows super with a small lightning explosion
  • Super ray can now be upgraded with triple shot arrows
  • Game should be faster overall due to many efficiency improvements
  • Players now toss through breakable objects if fast enough and the object shatters
  • Many small quality improvements in graphics and presentation
  • Many fixes and improvements


By now we are nearing completion, basically it is just a very few things that are left to check and improve and the box art to do - maybe there will be some more maps as well. But basically the gameplay is almost done.

Update 3.7.1 - Huge bombs


  • Fixed a bug with the new speed select not working properly
  • Changed the super for bombs to one supersized bomb dropping
  • Improved the ray animation
  • Added a new hint for button bashing if frozen or if fairies are around in last man standing
  • New button bash animation while frozen
  • Many fixes and improvements

Update 3.7 - Speed Selection


  • Added long-awaited speed selection on game start (slow, normal or turbo)
  • Removed player-speed option in turn
