Awards and Praise for Manifest 99

We've been overwhelmed with the wonderful reviews and thoughts that have been coming from around the globe. This past week, Raindance Film Festival named Manifest 99 the Best Interactive Narrative VR Experience at their 2017 VRX Awards. Because we’re hard at work on our next VR experience, we weren’t able to make it to London to receive the award in person; but, Manifest 99 co-directors Adam and Bo recorded a short thank you video:

We were also recently honored at the Future of Storytelling Summit & Festival with the Juried Independent Award! Team members Taylor and Limbert were really excited to get this neat trophy:

We've loved seeing everyone's thoughtful video reviews and here’s some other nice things people have said about Manifest 99:

“I’m not what you would call a “crier.” So when something as simple as an interactive VR experience is able to make me tear up a little bit i’m pretty taken back… It’s an emotional rollercoaster that highlights the best and worst of humanity all in a stylish art style designed to get those tear ducts active. And boy does it work.”

“The story has a much deeper meaning than just a few travellers hitching a train ride – which VRFocus isn’t going to spoil here – safe to say that’s it pulls on the heart strings as a memorable VR experience. If you enjoy short VR animations then Manifest 99 is up there with some of the best.” – VR Focus 5 Star Review

“This short story is one of the most fascinating explorations of VR narratives yet seen, giving new meaning to the ways in which we look and leer at characters with our headsets on.” – Upload VR: Manifest 99 Is An Emotional Journey Through The Afterlife

Thank you everyone for the support!

Manifest 99 Arrives Tuesday, September 12!

Next week, we’ll pull into our final destination with Manifest 99 and you’ll be able to strap on a headset and experience it in VR on September 12, 2017. You’ll be able to purchase it right here on Steam for $5.99.

Manifest 99 is an ominous, eerie story about finding redemption in the afterlife. Set on a mysterious train inhabited by a murder of crows, you assist four travel companions on a journey to their final destination. You play Manifest 99 without a controller: gaze into the eyes of crows to move to their perch, viewing the world from their scale and perspective.

In addition to the murder of crows, you can also use your gaze to connect with your fellow passengers. The weary ghosts of a bear, doe, owl and crow ride the train with you as well. As you lock eyes with each character, you’ll discover more about their personal journey and what brought them to the train. Each passenger represents a chapter of the experience and while aboard, you must uncover why they – and you – are on the train.
