Steam players can play Mantis Burn Racing® for free from 10AM Pacific Time, on Thursday 22nd February until 1PM Pacific Time, on Sunday 25th February - including the treacherous ‘Snowbound’ tracks DLC, super-fast ‘Elite Class’ DLC and explosive ‘Battle Cars’ DLC. If you want to keep playing after the Free Weekend, you can pick up the game and all DLC packs at 50% off until 10AM on Tuesday 27th February – and if you purchase the game during the Free Weekend all your in-game progress will carry over.

'BATTLE CARS' DLC - Now Available for Mantis Burn Racing®!

BOOM! - Mantis Burn Racing® just got its latest and greatest update to date with the explosive new Battle Cars DLC, which is now available to download!
Since we launched the game last year this has been one of our most frequently requested features, so we’re very pleased to be able to add such an exciting, action-packed new DLC pack that gives players a completely new way to play and enjoy the game. With ‘Battle Cars ’ it’s no longer a case of when you reach the finish line, but rather, if you reach the finish line!
The Battle Cars DLC adds an all-new class of (3) highly armoured, battle-ready vehicles, a new ‘Battle’ career season, 6 new achievements, and more!

The latest game update for Mantis Burn Racing® is here, and it’s a big one! As ever, we’ve been listening to your comments and feedback and we’re delighted to be able to now release a patch that brings many fan-requested features and improvements to the game.
The update includes improvements to performance during online play and improved loading times, which we know have been popular requests. Significantly, we've also added cross-play which will allow Steam players to connect with console players, which we hope improves the online experience for you all! Elsewhere, there’s now a ‘Random Event’ option for online races and the game now indicates whether upgrades are on / off for the Weekly Challenges.

First DLC Packs Now Available for Mantis Burn Racing®
Hello!
We’re very excited to be able to tell you that the first new content packs for Mantis Burn Racing® are now available for download!
First up, the ‘Snowbound Pack’, which brings a brand-new snow-themed race environment to the game. Having listened to feedback from launch this is something we knew we wanted to deliver to really expand the depth and variety of the game play, thank you to everyone who shared their comments. We’re even more excited to be able to tell you that this pack is completely free-to-download and brings with it a massive update to the game by not only adding four new tracks, but also season’s two and three of the Veteran Class career. That’s a whopping 34 extra events to complete in your quest to be crowned Mantis Burn Racing® Champion!
The treacherous snow and ice covered terrain of the new tracks in ‘Snowbound’ - Crevasse, Salvage, Silo and Research Base – are sure to present a different type of driving challenge to the dusty sand dunes and tarmacked city streets that you’ve been used to racing around up to now!

Also available from today, is the ‘Elite Class’ DLC pack, which adds a brand-new class of ‘Elite’ Hover vehicles to the game. Strap yourself in and hold on to your hats, these futuristic-looking speed machines are seriously fast… You could say they are set to make your game play really take off!
Hover vehicles use powerful turbines to hover above the ground making them less affected by the tracks’ surface, which is something that you’re probably going to find most noticeable, and useful, when taking on the new Snowbound tracks. Your driving skills are going to be pushed to the limits by these ‘Elite Class’ vehicles, they have the capability to smash your previous fastest lap times but you’ll need to master their unique handling characteristics before you lay claim to topping the Global Leaderboards!
Hover vehicles are playable on any of the 12 reversible tracks in game and in all events. What’s more, they come with their own 12 event ‘Elite’ career season that is unlocked immediately and only available with this DLC pack!

Mantis Burn Racing® Update! Online Improvements, Single-Screen Multiplayer and More!

We've pushed live an update for Mantis Burn Racing® which we hope you’ll enjoy!
We want to encourage and support the multiplayer community, so we’re really pleased to introduce a new lobby system that we hope helps bring players together online; we’ve also added the ability to race online with AI drivers as well as enhancing online stability, overall. For players requesting single-screen multiplayer, we’ve added a new ‘Spotlight’ event which pits players in a battle to remain within the spotlight and be the final racer standing! We’ve also made some improvements to the engine audio sounds which we appreciate some people have been asking for.
We’re working on further improvements and new content right now, so thanks for playing and be sure to keep an eye on the forum or follow us on Twitter @VooFoo for all our news and updates.

Thanks for all your feedback since the full version of the game went live a few weeks ago - We've just pushed live an update that makes a number of improvements to the game and includes a few bug fixes.
