Magical Miracle Time Reboot Compensation
As you may be aware, the Magical Miracle Time Event periods on Reboot World that took place on December 25 and December 26 experienced technical issues that prevented many Maplers from fully taking advantage of their allotted Miracle Time periods. After considering our options, we have elected to allow players who had Magical Miracle Time Registration Tickets for December 25 and December 26 to select and participate in an additional day of Miracle Time from January 14 through January 20.

Pink Bean Bulletin - A Note on Recent Player Concerns
We would like to provide you with a quick update regarding our plans to address the concerns many of you have about the current state of MapleStory. We have seen a lot of these concerns increase over the last few weeks, specifically about the stability of the game, content changes we’ve announced, and other topics that have been brought up repeatedly in the past. We know many of these concerns are not only about recent issues but about long-standing questions that we haven’t spoken about yet.
We want to take this opportunity to say that we have been constantly reviewing this feedback and discussing how to best address them. The feedback you have been providing to us throughout our various community platforms is greatly appreciated and we understand you are eager to learn of our intentions going forward.
We are currently preparing a more detailed message that will include responses to some of the questions you have raised. In this message we plan to include some more details about our recent announcement about "Kishin Shoukan" as well as information about when certain upcoming content will be released. While we intend to address as many topics as possible, please understand that we may not be able to speak to every single topic.
We apologize for the delay in communicating this information, but please allow us a little bit more time to confirm some of the plans, so that we can provide you with the most accurate information available.

[Completed] Scheduled Maintenance - January 11, 2022

Please avoid altering your computer time when participating in this event. Any changes to your computer time clock can cause issues when creating or deleting Burning characters for this event.
Create a brand-new character during the event period and select it to have the special "Burning" effect. This event is open to characters in both Reboot and non-Reboot worlds, as well as Burning World, except for Zero and Lara characters.
After your character reaches Lv. 10, every time that character levels up it will gain an additional two levels all the way up to Lv. 200!
In addition to all this, you'll also earn amazing rewards along the way, including Root Abyss and Fafnir gear! When you reach Lv. 200 on your ‘Burning’ character, don’t stop there but keep on training! You will receive additional rewards on your ‘Burning’ character at Lv. 200, Lv. 205, Lv. 210, Lv. 215, and Lv. 220!
Here's How it Works
Create a brand-new character during the event period. From the character select screen, choose the new character on your account to have the "Burning" effect. Then, accept the quest "It's the Tera Burning Project gift giveaway!" from the star event notifier on the left-side of the game window in order to start receiving rewards! Only one character on your account can have the "Burning" effect during each part of the event.
After completing the quest "It's the Tera Burning Project gift giveaway!," you will receive all of your gifts immediately; however, you will not be able to use all of them until you meet the required level for each reward.

Additional rewards for reaching Lv. 200 to Lv. 220 can be obtained once per region. These rewards cannot be obtained again if you delete the existing 'Burning' character that claimed these rewards and create a new 'Burning' character.
Burning World
Burning World is a special world with special rules that will exist only for the duration of the Burning World event, filled with boosts to make it easier than ever to level up fast. While on Burning World, all characters will gain the special Burning skill, which grants the following bonuses:
You will also be able to create two Mega Burning characters, who operate in the same manner as in previous Mega Burning events: After reaching Lv. 10, every time that character levels up, they will also gain two bonus levels, all the way up to Lv. 150. Combined with the Burning EXP bonus and boosted damage, you'll be able to power your way through those levels faster than ever before!
Additionally, even after your Mega Burning characters have been created, you'll be able to create another four characters to level up and leap, which will still benefit from the Burning skill! Please note that, while the default number of Character Slots on Burning World is eight, and can be expanded via Character Slot Coupons awarded from Daily Gifts and other avenues, only six characters will be able to World Leap when the Burning World event comes to a close, even if you have more than six Lv. 150 characters on the world. Additionally, Zero and Lara characters cannot be selected as a "Burning" character.
As Burning World is a temporary world to be removed at the end of the World Leap stage, some MapleStory features will be unavailable there:

Burning World Leap
As the saying goes, the light that burns twice as bright burns half as long, and the Burning World will burn very brightly indeed. However, while this new world will be consumed at the end of it all, a new life awaits your characters in the other worlds of MapleStory!
Lv. 150+ characters in Burning World will be allowed to leap to another world of your choosing during the World Leap period, taking their equipped items, inventory, and mesos with them to join their new communities. When this period begins, all Burning World characters will be moved to the Burning Leap Zone map, where they will be able to speak to the NPC Mover to complete their exodus.
[Updated January 5] Magical Miracle Time Issue in Reboot World
[Updated December 25 at 4:40 AM PST] Please note that NA and EU Reboot players that are affected by the issue where certain Magical Miracle Time event time slots did not work on December 25 or 26 will be given another day of Magical Miracle Time event after our upcoming maintenance, tentatively scheduled for January 6. We will provide more details about the event at a later date, thank you!
[Updated December 25 at 3:20 AM PST] We've discovered that the Magical Miracle Time event's time slots that coincide with that of non-Reboot worlds (December 25 at 8:30 AM UTC & December 25 at 10:00 PM UTC & December 26 at 3:00 AM UTC) do not work as they should for players that registered for those days in NA and EU Reboot worlds. Thus, the remaining available Magical Miracle Time event will be for those that registered for December 26th during the following time slots in Reboot worlds:
We will provide an update on our plans for the missed time slots when it is finalized. Again, we are very sorry about the inconvenience this issue has caused for our Reboot players.

We've received reports concerning the issue where Magical Miracle Time perks were not granted on December 25th during the 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM UTC time slot for those who registered for December 25th in NA and EU Reboot worlds. Pink Bean Bulletin - Client Performance Issues
We have seen the posts about the client performance issues, or FPS lag as players have been calling it, and we would like to let you know that we are aware of the complaints and have been looking into the issue.
We suspect there may be an issue with how we have packaged the client but we are still investigating the root cause. This doesn’t affect every MapleStory player but we understand it does affect players with certain PC configurations or settings. In our maintenance on Dec. 22, we have attempted to adjust the way we package the client but since we do not have the exact PC configurations and settings that cause the issue, we are unable to reproduce the issue and confirm if this change helped with the client performance issues. If you find that the client is still suffering the same issues after this week’s maintenance, we would appreciate it if you could submit a ticket to Customer Support and provide us with a video and the hardware specs of your PC.
Lastly, we would like to thank all of our MapleStory players for their support this year. It has been a very eventful year full of ups and downs. We appreciate the critical feedback you have provided, as well as your understanding during this busy year. We hope to work better together next year!
