What's new?
While this game borrows the same basic mechanics of the original Marble Muse game, the movement is much faster paced and the goal of the game has changed significantly. Instead of collecting all the stars to complete a level, the goal in Marble Muse Arcade is to reach the end platform before the time runs out and collect as many points as you can along the way. The game ends when you run out of lives. In this way Marble Muse Arcade has a very classic arcade feel. In fact, this game was originally created to be played in a full arcade machine and still has support for classic arcade controls.
A lot of new features have been added such as higher point value stars, multiplier stars, time bonuses and combos! We've also added a two player mode, where two players can take turns competing for the high score. If you've ever playing classic pinball games, you'll feel right at home. There's 3 leaderboards in this game: global leaderboard, friends leaderboard, and optionally a local leaderboard in the case that you want to run this game on site in an arcade machine.
What's the same?
You'll see a lot that is familiar in this game and that is because Marble Muse Arcade was built upon the building blocks of the original Marble Muse game. The control mechanics are largely the same and the levels are mashups of Marble Muse levels. We hope this familiarity along with all that's new will create a fun and exciting experience for all.
