Patch notes v1.1.1

  • Posted how to find the logs when reporting a bug on the forums here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/458000/discussions/0/357285398696457147/
  • Fixed a few minor errors in some events and descriptions.
  • If you decided to take the supplies Juno is offering you then the looting window will appear instead of the bullets and food being automatically added to your inventory (to be consistent with other events and prevent confusion)

New difficulty levels: easy, normal, hard

When you start a new game you can now select the difficulty level while selecting your starting character (the option appears at the bottom of the window).

Easy

Slight better hit chance, less penalties, infected are less dangerous and you will also find a bit more food and bullets.

Normal

Nothing has changed. This is the same as playing the game before this patch.

Hard

Infected are more dangerous and food and bullets a bit more rare.

Patch notes v1.0.5

  • Fixed the black screen issue some players were experiencing
  • When switching to a melee weapon while a ranged weapon is equipped and the character was moving the current target is reset to prevent the character changing his current destination
  • When switching to a ranged weapon while a melee weapon is equipped and the character was moving then the character stops moving and starts attacking with his ranged weapon
  • Changed the diary entry "[name] was bitten by an infected" to "[name] became infected"
  • "Fast forward" will now slow down a bit when there's 3 kilometers left toward destination to prevent encounters sometimes not happening and fix music switch weirdness. Don't worry, those last 3 kilometers are still passing pretty quickly and it actually fix a few problems.
  • Made knife fight sequence at the end less punishing

Patch notes v1.0.4

  • Fixed map generation in Blake's scenario so cities don't block the way toward the exit
  • Fixed Chad's death bug during the final events
  • You can now switch weapon by pressing W. It will equip the next weapon available in the inventory of the current character.
  • Added more feedback about which weapon is currently equipped for the selected character during combat
  • You can now change the map's page by pressing the left and right arrows

Patch notes v1.0.3

  • You can now turn off auto targeting in the options window (so characters don't automatically select a target when using ranged weapons)
  • Fixed auto targeting that could sometimes freeze the game at the start of the time survival event
  • Added a failsafe system in map creation to make sure there's always at least 1 path leading to the exit
  • Fixed toothless infected supposed to bite a character in event DOWNEDCOPTER_INFECTION
  • Fixed being able to rest while scavenging in cities
  • Dead group members won't be considered infected group members anymore
  • Improved check to reset the grappled status when an infected is killed

Patch notes v1.0.2

  • Added a fast forward button if you wish travel and resting go faster. This option is located left of the display of the current day (top right of the screen).
  • Characters with a ranged weapon will automatically target an enemy when combat starts.

  • Characters with a ranged weapon will automatically select a new target when their current one is dead.

  • Game now automatically pause when an encounter starts in a city
  • Pause message won't show anymore during events (game is still paused but it was just ugly to see that pause message behind the event window)

* We have not applied the same logic to characters with melee weapons as melee combat is much more dangerous and this might lead to unexpected consequences.
