I've poured my heart and soul into "Mark Out" since 2019, handling all the programming, systems, and implementation myself. I couldn't have done it without the support of my amazing community, who has been there every step of the way. Your patience and feedback during Early Access have been invaluable in shaping the game into what it is today.
But I didn't do this alone! I've had the pleasure of working with some incredibly talented artists, sound designers, and texture creators, who have brought the game to life with stunning visuals and immersive audio. Together, we've created a gaming experience that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

0.7.0 Mark Out Release
I would first of all like to apologize for the long delay between updates. I had this update slated to come out in October and due to a variety of reasons, I failed to release the update. This update is more of a cleanup release. I fixed a few small bugs and refined a few things such as the post match screen.
In addition to this, I also added in a few new arenas.
I am now shifting my focus to get Mark Out out of the Early Access phase. Please play through the game and inform me of any areas that you all would like to see improved as I march toward this release goal.
Mudshow Wrestling
GSW New York City
House Of Truth
This Build Should Address the Following
Women base models added
Crowd members now wear Mark Out merch
There was an error that would cause some cards to add damage instead of taking it
For the past week, Steam's online uploader has not been working for me. I attempted to use the manual uploader last night but forgot it does not use zip files. This upload should fix the project for anyone that affected.
UPDATE 0.6.3 AVAILABLE NOW
It has been quite some time since I have posted a formal update description, but I think now is the perfect time. Since the last update, there have been quite a few adjustments.
New Card Types There are 2 brand new card types that work together.
Body Part Target Cards
Heal Cards
In order to heal specific body parts from damage, you must combine a Heal card with the appropriate Body Part Target card. All of these cards can be found in the Loose Cards section of the store.
Wrestling and Card Types Up until version 0.6, Card Types were merely aesthetic. Cards did not behave differently based on them being Submission, Powerhouse, Highflying, etc. Well, that is no more! Each wrestler now comes with their own wrestling style that can be set in the Create a Wrestler bio screen. Your wrestling style will now also affect the cards that you use. For instance, a Powerhouse wrestler will not be rewarded as handsomely for using a Highflying card opposed to a Powerhouse card. The buffs are small for now, but I'd love to see how this alters gameplay going forward before making adjustments.
New Wrestlers Back in 2015, I made a commitment to local wrestlers in Detroit that I would put them in a wrestling game. Back then, I was not equipped with the knowledge or resources to do so. With the reception of Mark Out so far, I though it the perfect time to finally bring these characters into the game. There are a total of 6 wrestlers, each with their own wrestling style. Since these models were crafted years ago, these wrestlers are not editable. Along with the wrestlers, there is a brand new XICW arena inspired by the local Detroit promotion.
I hope that you all enjoy these updates as we continue to target the 1.0 release. Some things I want to tackle next are: -Cleaning up poses that look wonky since replacing character models -Adjust/Create SFX for weapons -Replace fans with different models -Add commentary -Add Story Mode (1.0) release

Halloween Special Event: Hardcore Horror!
Today is the most haunted day of the calendar year! As promised, the game reset is finally here. This is the most pivotal update yet with the game really coming into its own.
New Match Types Keeping in theme with Halloween, I thought long and hard about what match type would fit well in Mark Out. What match type had one of the more eerie feels to it? What match type had a reputation of being associated with haunting/demonic characters? There was one AND ONLY one match type that fit the bill. That match type was, the LADDER MATCH! Use the steel ladder to bash your opponents body to dust and climb the ladder to win the ultimate prize.
But all kidding aside, the Ladder match is just 1 of the match types added in this update. Along with this match type, take on the brand new CASKET match. Beat your opponent to a pulp. Slam them on the Casket and finish them off by tossing them inside of it.
In addition to these new match types, I finally showed the Cage match some more love. Instead of only having 3 cage match specific cards, you will now have ~10 at your disposal. Due to this change, I have also added all of the Lockdown cards to the Season 1 General Card Pack.
Reversal System As the developer, I often spend time playing and testing the game. I noticed that I stopped having fun due to the reversal system. It felt as if it had no character to it and often seemed to be a downer on the match. I spent sometime thinking about what could be done about this and finally came to a resolution. Therefore, going forward the reversal system will work as follows:
There is no longer a Reversal resource
To counter a card, you must have a Reversal card in your hand
Reversal cards can be obtained from the Loose Cards section of the Store
Upgrade System In addition to the Reversal system overhaul, I spent time looking into the Card Upgrade system. It felt as if there was no TRUE incentive to upgrade a card and I wanted to address that. Now, a card will now longer cost more to play if upgraded. This immediately means that a LVL 3 version of a card is more desirable than a LVL 1 version of said card.
Card Balancing I finally took the time to look at all 250+ cards one by one and balance them to work with the newest gameplay changes. Hopefully, this allows you to put more strategy into your card collection and deck creation. I also put a cost limit of 5 currently to play any card. Doing this prompted me to change the Energy resource max from 10 to 5.
I have some great news. I was slated to go live at 2:00PM today to give an overview of the new features in Mark Out! Instead of this, I created a playlist of all of the content I want you all to know about. In this playlist you will find a series of clips showcasing some of the newest features AND even giving some insight into pre-existing features and gameplay. I hope that you all find this more useful as I was able to more efficiently curated the necessary content for you all.

Version 0.5.0 Is Now Available
Wheeeew! This is the longest time I have EVER gone between updates and for good reason. My primary goal for this update was to move the needle on the Create a Wrestler mode.
Create a Wrestler/New Character Models
I was sick and tired of those old beatdown Mark Out model and the limitations if afforded the Create a Wrestler mode. Under 10 hairstyles was also an unacceptable benchmark that I was not willing to accept for long. I'm excited to say that I am MUCH happier with where the Create a Wrestler mode is today. Take a look at some of the new renovations made to the mode:
Brand new character model with 100+ morphs
20+ hairstyles
Existing facial hair that properly morphs with character
The ability to add designs and custom textures to boots
Gym shoes x2
Single limb dependent pads and bands
3D Shirts
3D Pants/Shorts
3D Masks
Reference image importing
Common color storage
Card Innovations
Once I felt comfortable with these changes, I moved my focus over to card management. I reached out for feedback on the modifiers and found out that many of you do not care to waste a deck space on them. This prompted me to create a way for you to fuse cards OUTSIDE of matches, permanently turning 2 cards into 1 and potentially 3 into 1.
GOAT Card Crafter
The next area of focus was finding a way to make cards feel special. I seem to have come up with a unique but grind-based way for players to unlock cards of the GOAT tiers. These cards will no longer be capable of being found in card packs. Instead, players will be tasked with collecting 3 cards per GOAT card. Once all 3 of those cards are collected, you can trade them in for a GOAT card. This actually turned out to be a pretty fun and more destination based way of collecting cards. I look to build on this in the future by showing an indicator of how many cards you have collected of the 3.
Card Hunting
This lead to the next added feature. While messing around, I realized that it was nearly impossible to easily keep track of what cards I needed to find. To address this issue, I came up with a Card Hunting system. The system works like this:
In the collection, you hit the "HUNT LIST" button
This will add the card in question to your hunt list (obviously)
As you open packs and collect cards, the game will listen to see if you have collected the card from your hunt list
If you have, you will be alerted
Known Bugs to be addressed in the future:
Card Hunt does not properly alert after manually opening a card pack
Some new poses need to be adjusted to account for the new character models
Some Modifier cards were added to the Atypical tier but still show their legacy tier backgrounds
