Patch notes for the coming update are as follows:
VR is no longer a requirement.
Non VR menu screen added with resolution, gfx options etc.
End scene changed, Marlene wants a better look at you!
Higher detailed textures added to objects and scenery.
Ball room puzzle extended with coloured light implementation.
More animations added to task interactions.
More sound effects added to task interactions.
& lots of other misc tweaks.

I am working on the menu/option screen for the non-VR version and then it will be ready for release.

Non-VR version & Joypad/Mouse/Keyboard support update
Hi all, I just wanted to give you a quick update on where I'm at with the non-VR version and alternative control support which is now fully operational and works really well in my opinion.

Handling objects with a joypad or mouse works in much the same way as Skyrim or Amnesia in which the object is held in front of the player and can be rotated.

This has required some task & scenery changes that work better with VR now being optional.

The update is currently being play-tested & polished and should be available within the next few days all being well.

Marlene Betwixt gamepad support & playable without a VR headset very soon!
As I have had a lot of requests for this I am happy to announce that a version of Marlene will be released that does not require a VR headset to play.

This will also add gamepad support for all HMD's.

Hi, unfortunately due to Marlene Act 2 entering full development and this being a solo project, I can no longer maintain the demo build alongside the main build and the other language builds. Something has to give.

As the demo will no longer reflect the current state of the game it will be unavailable as of late today.

The download demo button is in the process of being removed from the store page.
