We have nearly 4k citizens of the Matchyverse and that's roughly 28k rocket surgeons building ships to get all the way to Xanadu! It's been a wonderful experience so far getting to see all of you play and enjoy MatchyGotchy, and for that we wanted to do an extra special update for Valentine's Day to thank you for all the love and support you've shared with us.
This Valentine's Day update has over 10 new faces for each star. The productivity effect gets some loving too - star particles turn into hearts if you click on your Star multiple times. These updates are permanent for the game, meaning the faces and heart effects will be available long after Valentine's Day.
And last but not least, there is an exclusive new Valentine's Day selfie screen, with all the new faces you can take as many selfies as you want with all dat love! This is a limited time update for Valentine's Day available for one week only, meaning it goes live today Feb 14th and we will take it down Feb 21st.

Leaderboard Verification
Citizens of the Matchyverse!
We just updated MatchyGotchy to include a system to verify high scores. This means anyone who posts a fake score will be much more obvious to us behind the scenes and we should be able to remove them quickly.
For everyone who is having fun trying to get to the top of the leaderboard and playing MatchyGotchy as intended just update the game to the latest version and your score will be verified.
If you see a suspicious score, please let us know and we'll remove it if we know it is fake. Have fun!
Leaderboards Are Here!
We have added leaderboard support to MatchyGotchy. The score is based on how many total ships you have built over the course of the game. Also you get one of several statuses in your selfie screen based on how you are doing on the leaderboard. Can you become a Big Cheese?
MatchyGotchy was born as a fun and cute idea, and after months of hard work, we are so happy to share that with all of you.
We've gone through 21 builds of the game in our beta testing process to bring you something fun, new, and intuitive. We've even made a manual you can download from the "View the manual" link in the bar on the right to explain exactly "How To Gotchy."
