Math Combat Challenge

New 50% discount for Math Combat Challenge

Math Combat Challenge now has a new price tag. The mathematical game where solving math exercises is the key to survival.

In first person, or on board a space fighter, each scenario presents a different challenge, but they all have one thing in common: the key to survival is not the destruction of the enemy, but the resolution of random mathematical problems.

Remember to read the manual for more information at https://titandscompany.com/manual-english-version/

Math Combat Challenge: the Angel of Helheim available

Math Combat Challenge V.1.40 "Angel of Helheim" is here. Since we started this project, we always thought of an enemy that could be immortal. An annoying enemy that could really make the player hate that enemy. We had a first version but it was "too immortal" and "too annoying". Now we think we have found the answer: The Angel of Helheim.

Version 1.40 with many technical enhancements.

Math Combat Challenge version 1.40 is now available, with a 40% discount until August 3, and several important technical improvements. The most significant is an enhancement of the graphic quality in the game, which is also achieved through the use of dynamic resolution for those who like a fluid game with the maximum resolution available and the hardware installed.

The game also allows now that each graphic level chosen by the player enables a greater graphic visualization than in the previous version.

The Angel of Helheim, an immortal nightmare.

But the main element is in a new character, which is activated by default. This character is the Angel of Helheim, who has a particularity: he is immortal.

Throughout the game, this new character may be attacked, and he will flee. But he’ll be back after a while. What are the features of this particular character?

First, he will randomly shoot the player. His shots are not harmful, but his persistence can make the player lose his temper, having to scare him off every time. In addition, and this is the worst thing that could happen to the player, the Angel of Helheim will destroy the numbers we need to solve the mathematical panels, which will make it difficult to finish them in the stipulated time. You can deactivate the Angel of Helheim in the config panel if you wish. We have added a short video where you can see the new character.

Now on sale.

Math Combat Challenge will be on sale until August 3, and in the meantime, we continue to prepare a new scenario for its children’s and youth version, Math Classroom Challenge. New arenas for Math Combat Challenge will be available in next versions. What about a race? And remember: read the manual for doubts, everything is there. Have a nice Math Day!

Pyramid, the new free Arena for Math Combat Challenge

As promised, we bring the new Arena for Math Combat Challenge: Pyramid.

This Arena corresponds with version 1.30 of the game.

We also inform that the price is now 9,99$.

Pyramid is a space Arena, that includes elements from other arenas, and adds some new elements. We have created a new document to include these new features.

We've also added a new document in our web to explain the new features of this Arena.

You can enjoy this scenario like the others, or take on challenges such as destroying the maximum number of capital ships, all the cannons, or any combination you deem appropriate.

But this is not the end of course, we want to implement new features. The next one: Oculus Rift and Steam VR. And we can say you’ll have a challenge when playing with Virtual Reality.

Thank you for your support, and have a good hunting, and a good math day!

Winter sales: 35% and incoming new arena

Hello, fellow math soldiers!

Winter has come, and we have a 35% discount on the Math Combat Challenge. In addition, we have already incorporated two of the three free scenarios that we promised during the game presentation. That makes five scenarios ready.

That means the third free scenario that we promised is on the way, and we're working on it. A scenario that will of course have mathematics as the main element, but will incorporate a differential aspect that we believe will be interesting for the players. Just be ready for a new challenge that we hope you'll enjoy.

More information on this third free new scenario will follow shortly.

Thank you very much!

Mac version available now with Metal API

We are happy to inform that the Mac version of the Math Combat Challenge is now available. This version is optimized for Mac computers with I5 processor and Iris Pro graphics, El Capitán operating system, and by default the Metal API is integrated. If Metal is not available, OpenGL will be used.

This version also has all the elements and features of the Windows version, being a copy of the same compiled for Mac.

Free arena, "Realm of Helheim", now available.

The fifth arena of Math Combat Challenge is ready: "The Realm of Helheim".

This is the second free arena of the game we promised. Flying with the starship inside an infinite wormhole won't be easy. Don’t try to leave the area; that won’t be good for your health.

This arena is a classical 3D arcade shooter in space. Maybe you remember Star Trek: the Motion Picture? When they fall in an infinite hole? That’s the idea.

Main features of "Realm of Helheim".

• Only main lasers are operational.
• Radar is down.
• Engine can’t be disconnect once it has been activated (F1 or left stick button).
• Drone cubes and numbers explode when touched in space.
• Shooting wrong numbers in space drains energy from shields.
• Minimal speed is always faster than 1000.
• Restore shields and weapons destroying enemy ships and drones, and also asteroids.
• Numeric radar malfunction. You won’t be able to track numbers, just visual.
• Don’t try to leave the wormhole, or go back. It won’t be good for your health.
• Finish math operation because the wormhole ends, it’s indicated by a regressive countdown.
• Take your medicine for your heart before flying this new free arena.

"The Realm of Helheim" is available with the rest of arenas, at the Titan Base. Gate "E". And remember: Math is live. Enjoy!

Math Garden, new free scenario, now available

Math Garden for kids, the mathematical garden for all ages.

For the youngest members of the house,"Math Garden for Kids" is a new free scenario for the mathematical game "Math Combat Challenge". Set in a garden, enemies are non-existent, weapons disappear, and instead the player carries a water hose. With this hose you must wet the numbers that run through the stage, and that are the solution to the static panels generated, be it sums, subtractions, or otherwise, all this configurable.

The game incorporates a character, Benny, who helps the boys locate the numbers. Benny moves through the scenario indicating the right numbers to solve the exercises.

The game is accompanied by music and sounds suitable for all ages, and aims to encourage children to play math while playing.

The Math Garden is now available as a new scenario for the Math Combat Challenge in Steam for Windows, and soon for Mac, iOS and Android.

Changelog included in blog, and joystick/HOTAS controllers

Hello Math lovers.

We have included an online changelog in our blog, so you can see the updates to the game before new versions are released. That changelog will grow until a new version is released.

Minor changes will only be informed there, but important new elements like the three new arenas will be explained here and in the blog in detail.

The new version 1.022 includes the elements to use a HOTAS controller, like the Saitek X55/X56, among others. Any typical joystick will be compatible too. HOTAS and joysticks are great to control the starship, but remember you can use a pad too.

New versions of the game will be released next days solving and enhancing the game so you can enjoy the best experience.

Thank you very much, and have a great Math day.

Math Combat Challenge now available

Math Combat Challenge is now available. As we have already mentioned, this game has two perfectly visible styles: first-person action and spacecraft action.

We recommend taking a look at the manual to learn the basics of the game. The mechanics is very simple. The game itself contains a super-fast introductory video and the Stadium a tutorial with a Help Drone. You can also disable enemies for practice if you want to.

The ship's theme is somewhat more complex, and the keyboard and pad maps indicate the functions in detail. If in doubt, disable enemies in the options panel, and again, practice with the ship without disturbance until you know the controls.

We are already working on the three new free scenarios that will be included in the game, one of which is especially suitable for children.

And remember: the object of the game is to solve the active static panels (with a circle around them), searching for the stage or space, and to solve the dynamic panels that appear suddenly before they disappear. That will be all. Apart from surviving of course.

Have a good math day. Enjoy yourself.

The Superquick Videotutorial

We know that there are people who love manuals, and others don't even want to hear about them. Others enjoy watching a little video so they can start playing. We have tried to cover all three possibilities.

For those who want to go straight to the game, we have recorded a quick video tutorial that you can access on the main menu, that explains the details of the game on the surface arenas: static panels are solved by shooting the right numbers on the stage. The dynamics, firing at the right solution. The Help Drone also shows you how to play. Is active by default.

For those who want to get into the details of the game, extended video tutorials and the manual are your allies.

One last thought. Surface scenarios have enough with these elements. For the spaceship, we do recommend a minimum reading. It's not difficult, but we advise you to take a look at their systems and weapons.

As always, the player has the last word. If you want to discover everything by yourself, go ahead, that's also part of the fun, and we know it's the choice of many. What we've been trying to do is give you options, and you choose. That is the key element.

We hope you have a nice Math day.
