Steam Next Fest
Steam Next Fest is here, which means the Mato Anomalies Demo is now live and available for all!
This is the same demo you have been able to play at events for a few months now and we are extremely excited to be able to share it with such a large audience.
The demo is based on the alpha build of chapter 0, the start of the game.
You will be able to get a first introduction to the story, as Detective Doe, Exorcist Gram, and his Android SkyEye (more companions to come in the full version!) investigate the threat of the Bane Tide and the mystery of HANDOUT.
You can also catch a first glimpse at our turn-based combat system and an exciting card game!
The release is planned for 2023, and we plan on using this time to continue to work on and polish Mato Anomalies for a great player experience. So once you are done exploring Mato, don't hesitate to dip into the forum and let us know your thoughts or ask questions - we love to chat <3

Gamescom: A Recap
Hello fellow Rift travelers and detectives,
Gamescom is over, and whether you could attend or not, we want to share the experience with you!
This was the first time that Mato Anomalies was playable for the public, and we can’t wait to hear your impressions in the coming days. We were overwhelmed by the amount of interest we received. At times the line wrapped all the way around the corner!
Even Gram found his way to Cologne through the Rift, and SkyEye had to put out a search for him:
Though it actually turned out to be a cosplay by the amazing LazerLiz, who made and wore it Saturday & Sunday, and Moro.Props, who wore it Thursday & Friday.
