We’re finally ready to give you more info about the Prologue. The Mech Mechanic Simulator: Prologue will be released on 18th February and will be an extension of the demo version you enjoyed. The prologue will feature:
An additional mech to fix
Painting Mechs and decorating them with decals
Longer gameplay
We are happy that you liked the Demo version and we hope that you’ll have a look at the Prologue once it becomes available. Don't forget to wishlist! ːsteamthumbsupː
What a weekend it’s been! We’ve been looking at your comments, videos, streams and taking notes. Today we are introducing the first patch to the demo version (which will of course also transfer to the upcoming prologue and full version).
The patch fixes three major issues reported to us:
The android can now be muted (outside of the tutorial) using the sound settings. Just un-tick the “Android” setting to remove his vocal module.
The time between the androids' comments has been increased. He will no longer spam you with endless chatter and he will no longer repeat himself constantly.
The screen settings now feature a “Brightness” slider making it possible to increase or decrease the brightness of the game.
While this patch is a small one we felt like these issues needed a quick fix to boost the enjoyment of the demo. We are working on more improvements for the prologue and full version based on all your feedback.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Mech Mechanic Simulator and we hope to hear more from you. ːsteamthumbsupː

Hello everyone and thank you for joining us during the Steam Game Festival: Autumn Edition! ːsteamhappyː
We are really excited to share with you a taste of what we've been working on really hard for the last couple of months. Please remember that the demo you are about to try is still a work in progress - it's not feature-complete and some elements may not be working properly. That is why we would really love to hear your feedback! Please leave your comments and we promise to listen closely - what matters for us most is to provide you with the best experience possible. If you liked what you saw, don't forget to add the Mech Mechanic Simulator to your wishlist (click the banner below)!
Here's what you can expect from the demo:
two mechs to play with (Legacy and Minotaur),
assembling and disassembling mechs and their arms and legs,
cleaning the machines,
scanning (in search of broken parts),
derusting,
welding,
dedicated work stations for each activity,
workshop tables (where you’ll be able to tinker with the arms and legs),
painting your workshop,
designing your company’s logo,
shop.
About Mech Mechanic:
run your own shop, in which you will be able to upgrade, adjust and fix huge robots,
gain knowledge with every fix,
decide how to repair a mech, which parts to choose and what type of software to install,
parts have more than one use - decide what you would like to do with them: sell for scrap, fix or use to create something completely new,
every action leads to a new challenge, including sending mechs to special missions,
six types of missions will be available and the prize for each of them will depend on the amount of danger eliminated.

Devlog - Corporations
Hello everyone!
As we’re gearing up for the release of Mech Mechanic Simulator, we wanted to give you some insight into the game’s lore and tell you a little more about the corporations that will rule it’s world!
You will come across 4 different groups - the Sakura Corporation, Dauhasky Company, VI-CO and Hackers. Each of them with unique traits, mechs and paint jobs.
Sakura Corporation, as you’ve probably guessed, originates from the Japanese culture. It is a mix of tradition and technology - built on honor and self-sustainability, but not afraid to push the boundaries - they were the first to explore space in search of new resources. Usually, they are peaceful and like to boast about recent achievements on various shows and conferences, but don’t let that fool you! If necessary, they’ll start a conflict without a blink.
Dauhasky Company, on the other hand, has a Middle-Eastern vibe to it. It’s all about production, resources, luxury and quality. Their success is built mainly on mining, as they were one of the first in the world to discover deposits of new material. So, their machines may come out as heavier than others. This brought them huge amounts of money, which they like to spend on experimenting with technology or new materials. It also boosts their military power, as they can afford to buy mechs from other corporations.
VI-CO is the type of corporation, which we can describe as “western”. Growing business is their key driver, hence they’re very aggressive in terms of expansion and marketing. If anyone stands in their way, war is the only solution and that’s why they put a lot of focus on firepower. They work as an umbrella company for multiple smaller producers. Numbers and growth are all that matters. If you can’t keep up - you’re out. Their mechs have an aggressive and military design.
Hackers are on the opposite end of all this. They are a bunch of vigilantes, who like to operate in the shadows. Drawing from different cultures, they are all about freedom, crossing the borders and functionality. Officially, the black market for mech parts doesn’t exist, but in real life that’s what keeps them alive. They don’t care about rules or rights of other corporations and regardless of individual reasons, they’re all trying to fight the monopoly of 3 big companies. Obviously, Hackers add their own twist to their machines - unique paint jobs or some homemade modifications. Even though those mechs are not officially available, many customers see it as an opportunity - to save some money or use the machines for equally unofficial purposes...
