M E C H A N I S M - Update 1.01

Greetings!

What's new:



  • Added Camera Invert and Camera rotation speed options: both of them available in the game options when you are actually playing, not in the main menu.
  • Fixed problem with the UI panel freeze (Restored objects)
  • Performance improvements (the frame-rate should be higher and more stable now)
  • Fixed glitch of settings menu freeze in main menu (appeared on some computers)
  • Fixed glitch when object that you took from prism locations.
  • Also added French localization.

M E C H A N I S M - release and HOT FIX

Greetings! Mechanism is released and I've alredy get some messages about some bugs. Don't worry, I'm gonna fix them as fast as possible.
I've already updated the build

- Objects do not dissapear when you go in the basement now.
- Photo save point in the basement not a "dead" point now.
- Fixed UI problems on the screen ratio 16:10
- Fixed problem with the bomb - at least I hope so ^^

Pre-release news

Greetings!
Mechanism releases July 19th - it's only four days left!
Can't believe that, what I wanted to say it that this game more than just my indie-project, it is my soul.

I want to tell you a little story that "created" this game in some way.
Why I started to make games? People ask me this question quite sometimes. Well first of all, I loved to draw in my childhood, and when I became older I also started to play some music on a cheap classical guitar. And somewhere when I was 19 I found out that all forms of art are inspiring my heart and soul, so I just found the work in which all forms of art can be mixed to create some quintessential piece of art - video games. I'm 23 now, and this is my second serious game and I really hope that it is not only bring me some money but give me some fans of my creativity. Why I need this? Because I have deep problems with my parents, and these problems all concerning my games-creating process, they just don't believe me that I can achieve something with it. That makes me depressed, so I just hope that you can help me to overcome these difficulties with you spreading some info about this game.

P.S. If you are a youtuber or a steam curator just write me via steam messages (add link to your channel or steam group), I can send you some keys of the game if you make a review.

M E C H A N I S M - Devlog #2

Hello, everybody!
Just wanted to write, that Mechanism is in activate and last phase of development.
The game will be released till the end of this summer, that's for sure.
Sooo stay tuned, make topics, ask any questions. I don't want to reveal any particular information about the game world and lore on a purpose. I want this game to be a special experience for all players.

MECHANISM - First devlog on Steam

Okay, so I make devlogs not very regulary on a websites like gamejolt and itch.io and thought that may be it is might be interesting also for you guys(if you came not from those places):3



For the last week I made a very important change in the core gameplay. Those who played the demo of Mechanism noted that main hero loses objects from hands when goes to the next location. At first I thought that the game will be linear, location after location and there will be no need in transfering quests objects. But now, this is no longer linear. It is almost like metroidvania now. Like a "Souls" game with no hand-combat but with sneaking, puzzles, and horror (I know there were no horror in the demo, cause I didn’t put it in it). So all locations of the game are interconnected with each other, and you can transfer all objects between them. It plays twice more interesting now! I am super glad that I made this choice.
Hmmm. What about you guys? Yep, soon I will make a new updated demo, where you can try it youself and help me with the bugs. I will place the link here. I don't want to publish the demo right on Steam, I will make appropriate demo before release. Until then, stay tuned!
