MECHWARRIOR ONLINE LEGENDS APRIL 2023 PATCH NOTES
Greetings MechWarriors!
April is here, and so are 2 New Legendary BattleMechs, the Shadow Hawk "Scattershot" and the Marauder IIC "Dreadnought", Map Adjustments to Terra Therma Crucible and Free Worlds Colosseum, more 'Mech Quirk Adjustments, some Equipment Adjustments, and Bug Fixes.
As the year progresses, the MWO team continues to work on the next brand new map, update current maps, investigate potential Matchmaker solutions that may improve the overall gameplay experience, investigate Faction Play, New Weapons, look at bringing Drop Decks to Quick Play, bring new 'Mechs into the game, look into overall gameplay balance and player feedback (for example we're currently investigating potential Long Range vs Short Range balance issues), and more. Speaking of the MWO team, we hired a new 3D artist. More on that in May.
Enjoy the upcoming Patch, look out for a post-Patch Science Sale, and jump into some Inner Sphere Heavy 'Mech Solaris Event Queue action this weekend in the meantime!

Greetings MechWarriors!
Welcome to this month's patch and the MWO rebrand to MechWarrior Online: Legends. This update marks a new dawn for MWO as we forge ahead in 2023 and beyond. MechWarrior is at the center of Piranha Games' efforts, with both new and existing projects! This patch introduces the first generation of new Legendary BattleMechs with the Juggernaut and the Moonwalker, their new mini battle pass rewards system, a brand new Quick Play and Event Queue map called Free Worlds Coliseum, and another round of 'Mech and Quirk updates. See the details and pictures below!
We want to you know that the rebrand is the start of more Legendary content and updates to come this year, which include but are not limited to:
- More Legendary 'Mechs
- New Maps and Continued Map Improvements
- Matchmaker Improvements

DOUBLE XP + BOOSTED CHAMPIONS + HEROES (and Special) EVENT
- Earn Double XP in All Modes
- Earn Additional C-Bills on Special Mechs (Heroes, Loyalty, Special, Invasion ETC) (standard Mechs excluded)
- Boosted Mechs normally grant 30% C-Bill Boost but will Grant 50% during the event.
- Earn Additional XP when you use a Champion Mech (standard Mechs excluded)
