Austin Wintory & Alina Gingertail debut poignant new song for Men of War II

We are proud to reveal Gentle Winds, a beautiful new musical collaboration from Grammy-nominated, two-time BAFTA-winning composer Austin Wintory & YouTube musician Alina Gingertail, that will feature on the official Men of War II soundtrack.
"It was a wonderful pleasure to reunite with my friend Alina Gingertail to write this song, Gentle Winds. As powerful as her voice can be, and as exciting as Men of War II surely is, it seemed an opportunity to explore a more poignant side of heroics," said Austin Wintory. "The song, with lyrics by the amazing Simon Hall, became more of an elegy for war. I hope you enjoy it."
Fulqrum and Best Way also partnered with popular Czech content creator PLASMO, to build an accurate 1/72 scale model of the M4A2 Sherman tank, a line of armoured vehicles that are prominently featured in Men of War II. The 16-minute video features footage from the highly-anticipated RTS title, alongside a detailed look at the assembly of a tank kit produced by iconic French model maker Heller.
It is also worth mentioning that not so long ago Ástor Alexander, the illustrator and concept artist behind a number of viral artistic video game interpretations, created a stunning piece of artwork that will serve as the new Men of War II key art. Featuring an eye-catching sunset palette and bold stylings, the piece captures a cinematic intensity while spotlighting the infantry to bring an element of humanity to the large-scale battles players will experience in the game.
Additionally, it was revealed that the team behind the popular ‘Born in Fire’ Mod for the original Men of War and Men of War: Assault Squad 2, hailed by critics as “one of the best Men of War: Assault Squad 2 mods”, has returned to work on mods for Men of War II.

New Key Art, Musical Collaboration with Austin Wintory, and Modding Teaser

We are proud to reveal collabs with artist Ástor Alexander, composer Austin Wintory, musician Alina Gingertail, and creators of Born in Fire Mod for original Men of War to create unique, evocative pieces, all of which champion and complement our highly-anticipated WWII title.
Ástor Alexander, the illustrator and concept artist behind a number of viral artistic video game reimaginings, has created a stunning piece of artwork that will serve as the new Men of War II key art. Featuring an eye-catching sunset palette and bold stylings, the piece captures a cinematic intensity while spotlighting the infantry to bring an element of humanity to the large-scale battles players will experience in the game.
Alongside the new artwork, we collaborated with Grammy-nominated and two-time BAFTA-winning composer, Austin Wintory, and YouTube musician Alina Gingertail. Together the pair created a beautiful and moving original piece of music for the Men of War II official soundtrack, which will debut in the coming weeks.

With the return of mod support in Men of War II, the team behind the extremely popular ‘Born in Fire’ Mod for the original Men of War and Men of War: Assault Squad 2, hailed by critics as “one of the best Men of War: Assault Squad 2 mods”, returned to work on mods for Men of War II. A teaser of what they are working on is available now:
"We started developing a mod about the American Civil War over ten years ago. And now, after so many years, we continue to work on modifications thanks to the engine capabilities of Men of War II,” said Sergey Ryabkov, one of the developers of Born in Fire Mod for the original Men of War. “We are happy to be part of the game series community and grateful to Fulqrum Publishing and Best Way for the opportunity to dive deep into this fantastic world of modding, taking a fresh look at some things.”

The new trailer — the extended version of our previous one features fresh gameplay footage of iconic World War II tanks and infantry lighting up the battlefield, showcasing more of the game's in-depth combat and the enhanced destructibility of environments enabled by the modified Gem RTS engine.

Men of War II Unveils a New Epic Trailer and Receives More Time for Improvements
We greet you, commanders!
We have a big announcement to make! You have been waiting patiently for Men of War II and most of you already know the background of the development.
Eagerly awaited by many players and strategy game enthusiasts, the upcoming sequel to the acclaimed RTS franchise Men of War II will launch in 2023. The decision to reschedule the original 2022 release date was made in order to accommodate new features and content suggested by you, our community, and improve the game itself, which would not be possible due to delays caused by the war in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian studio Best Way was based in Severodonetsk and had to help its staff and their families relocate after the events of February 24th, 2022, during which period the development was put on hold. Despite this, the Best Way team has eagerly returned to development in the last several months, and with your help already ran several rounds of closed playtests. The participants were satisfied with the combination of classic Men of War gameplay and new features like the Frontline, Direct Control, and much more.
However, thanks to the feedback gathered through these tests, the development team plans to make the game bigger and better than anyone originally imagined. Realizing this vision will require more development time, but both Best Way and Fulqrum Publishing agreed that it would be well worth it to make the best and biggest Men of War game yet.
This extra development time will allow the Best Way team to add a lot of new content, such as the much requested standalone campaign for the Third Reich and new missions for other factions, improve upon many gameplay features such as the Dynamic Campaigns, significantly upgrade the user interface, and much more. More information will be coming soon about all the new features and improvements for the game, but in the meantime, discover a new epic trailer for Men of War II!
“Postponing the release of a project you hold dear is always a tough decision. However, we believe that meeting a deadline should never compromise quality and we are happy that Fulqrum Publishing agreed to give us the time we need to produce a truly great game,” explains Maxim Kamensky, Producer of Men of War II at Best Way.
“Also, this delay provides us with enough time for all the polishing and balancing phases, much needed for a game the scope of Men of War II. Thanks to our great community for their positive feedback during closed tests - this is very valuable. This extra time will give us a chance to deliver an exceptional experience to the players... Especially keeping in mind that so many of them can't wait to play it.”

We're pleased to reveal an exclusive teaser trailer from the upcoming sequel to the acclaimed RTS franchise Men of War II ahead of Gamescom 2022. Get immersed in the most significant battles of both the Western and Eastern fronts of World War II in this new teaser trailer and get ready to take control of the battlefield! A full-length trailer will be presented on September 1st, and before that, media can check out the game at Gamescom from August 24–26 behind closed doors.
