This Friday's update fixes a lot of minor stuff: Here is the list:

Major
- Added Steam Cloud
- Fixed the problems with vineries and mines
- Added 8 new quests
- Fixed the issues with trading partnership not working correctly

Minor:
- when you buy all the stock in the city, -1 is no longer displayed when returning to the market
- fixed the issue with white textures showing up when sailing/flying
- repaired the incorrect ice melting rate
- fixed the cart pictures when buying them
- fixed the issue with the dragon mini-game not loading correctly added the possibility to skip it and calculate the outcome based on your luck, crew and items
- fixed the issue when tarrifs took more than the player's entire wealth
- removed the town hall from Seeth
- added sail routes between Verno - Vorbo nad Yavli - Parnu
- fixed issues with some of the achivements not triggering correctly
- when you get one high sale thanks to helping the attacked merchant event, you can no longer buy the goods in at the same city without losing the good price
- fixes to the "Protection inquiry" event - it no longer shows up when traveling to mines and ruins
- adjustments to the vinery menu to make it more intuitive
- adjustments to GUI - all names should now fit their given space nicely
- lowered the amount of travels on the same route in a route to increase the chance of robbery to 3
- Sailing from Ovoros to Siltarra now take 4 days
- Heavily increased profits from ruins and vineries
- lots of even minor fixes

Happy International Talk Like A Pirate Day. T'day we released a new update.

Here's t' list o' changes:

- added 15 new side quests
- added 5 new random events
- added the possibility to establish the partnership
- balances to the cost of air and sea travel
- Linux version is finally playable on all distros

Update 12 Sep 2014

Hi, new week means a new update. Here is the list of changes:

- fixed the problem while starting the 1 million trigons scenario
- new side quests added
- new Dark Council quests added
- balancing corrections in the prices
- added new elements in the graphics
- changes in the GUI
- fixed graphical bugs with disappearing carts
- corrections to the sea routes layout

As promised we've released a new update today. Here is a list of changes:



  • Fixed the main story (rank up) quests
  • Fixed the Dark Council quests
  • Fixed issues in side quests (wrong locations and neverending pop-ups)
  • Fixed the issue with empty items taking up slots
  • Fixed the issue where luck was not rounded correctly
  • Frequency of good gossips in the inn is much higher
  • Small graphical fixes such as: unnecessary coin in Pirate debt token, switched the cart icons in the workshop
  • Fixed the issue where you could not train specialists
  • Removed the Academy in Reshun that constantly changed it's specialty
  • Fixed the issue with invisible goods granted in the cards sacrifices
  • Fixed the bug with buying horses when you were charged 1000 no matter how many horses you bought
  • Corrections to the descriptions in ruins
  • Fixed the issue where playing knife game crashed the program
  • Fast forward icon is no longer shown in the cities
  • Fixed the bug when the cart was not visible while traveling between Gonot and Nar
  • Scrolling in certain windows fixed
  • Loading the game should no longer cause the buttons to transfer from the previous game.

  • Added graphical effects to all of the villages
  • Added travel log for last 10 journeys
  • When saving game while in Ovoros, the sky no longer disappears
  • Improved blur while traveling
  • Improvements to the sea routes between Asmor, Narheym and Vergotto
  • Numerous corrections in the text, fixed misspellings changed words to better suiting.


Update 15.08.2014

In this update we one again added a lot of quests. This should help with the problem with ranking up past Captain.
Around half of Dark Council story line is implemented
Added a possibility to abandon quests
Time sensitive quests are now failing correctly when not completed in time.
Since most of the critical issues are addressed we will now work on a bigger in size update but it may mean a longer pause between.

Update 08.08.2014 a.k.a. quests, quests, quests.

This update focuses on quests, we added around 40 new to the game. Besides that there are some minor issues fixed, some misspellings, some text wrapping wrongly.

Update 01.08.2014

- Fixed main story quests
- Rare issues with searching through ruins where button didn't work
- Exchanged low-res pictures of specialists with high-res
- Fixed weather animations in villages. They sometimes stopped
- Fixed one of the side quests in Nortifore
- Fixed the "you met trader, do you want to play a game" issue where you exchanged goods even when you had nothing with you.
- Other minor stuff.

Update 29-07-2014

This update fixes the issues with leveling from Hawker to Trader. So now you can continue growing and expanding your trading business. There are also several minor things fixed, some misspellings etc. We also emphasized the possibility to fire mercenaries and specialists in your status book. There was some confusion with that, some players couldn't find it.

Merchants of Kaidan is now available on Mac and Linux

As promised, you can now play Merchants of Kaidan on your Linux and OS X computers.

Update 26-07-2014

Thank you very much for your feedback and support. This update repairs the issues with:

- Troubles with traveling between cities
- Problems with unresponsive GUI and game screen going out of focus
- Game freezing after about 45-60 minutes of playing
- Corrupted saves and missing gold when returning to a saved game
- Minor non-game-breaking bugs that were a result of a rollback to a previous build.
