Metonymy's First Patch

After releasing Metonymy on steam just a few weeks ago we received a lot of feedback. Much of which was awesome, and we have gone ahead and tried to implement some of the fixes you all suggested. So here it is, Metonymy's First Patch Notes.

Keyboard and Controller Support

  • The start screen has been fixed allowing for a majority of Keyboard and Controller inputs to now actually start the game.
  • The Arrow Keys now navigate menus and can now be used to navigate the player as well.

Hints

  • We have added a small amount of hints in the game to help people better understand how to play. These can be seen in the loading screen and soon after the player gains control of Enoch.

Graphical Settings

  • Upon launching the game there will only be one option for graphical settings. its listed as Fantastic. Previously the default setting was un-optimized, and the visual style of Metonymy was lost. However, this also means that the game might not run smoothly on lower end computers and If this is the case I suggest comparing your computer specs to the recommended ones listed on the store page.

Thanks For Playing

Metonymy Session Six is Officiallly OUT NOW!!!

After many long months of hard work, I’m pleased to say that Metonymy is out to the public.

This is a personal passion project of mine that I have been dreaming of working on since I was about 15 years old. Finally, while pursuing my Master’s degree I was given the opportunity to work on it in some capacity.

What you have here available to you now is a short "proof of concept" that I was able to complete alongside my wife in just over a year in a half. This is both of our first attempts at making a video game in any fashion and because of that it is a bit rough around the edges. However, we are still both proud of what we could accomplish.

The feedback we have received already has been immense and makes me so excited to see other people interested in the world of Sagacity.
