Alrighty everyone! I believe I’ve gotten enough criticism for this game by now! It is now time to begin working on the main project. Minds Eyes has definitely taught me a nice amount of things. I noticed that a lot of you enjoyed the game while some disliked the game as a whole (or some parts) which is good! Like I said before, Minds Eyes was made to gather information on new things which is why the game play have felt like 5 games in one. Ultimately, I am happy with the way things have gone. I’ve learned a lot, talked to a few people here and there, gotten a bit of support and some criticism here and there, too.
SO! now it is time begin planning on the main project. I’ve been taking a lot of notes, beginning to sketch some models, as well as creating a full, in-depth storyline for you all to enjoy. I’ve been brainstorming ways to keep the player engaged most of the time, with a near complete elimination of ‘aimless wandering’ and more!
To be completely honest, I’ve never really put the time to plan any of my games. Whenever I have a small idea, I simply expand on it, and make things on the go. This will definitely not be the case for this game. For the first time ever (in my time of publishing over 10 games), I will spend a large portion of time, brainstorming, modeling and creating the best horror experience that I am completely capable of doing. I will purchase a laptop so I can work at school as well, and involve as many people as I possibly can in brainstorming, researching and testing.
So what is this announcement particularly for? A discussion (in the announcement section). I want to talk to you all; I want to hear your ideas; I want to know what particularly scares you? What annoys you in a game? And what you would like to see in a game. It is my complete aim and goal to create something that I’ve never created before; a whole to level to my capabilities in order to raise my bar of standards to ultimately provide you all the best gaming experience possible.
As always, I thank you all for the support, and for some wonderful Ideas! Within a month or so, I believe I will begin posting some information on the new game, as well as screenshots, trailer, and more.
With that said, feel free to like me on facebook to get quick and early info on stuff!

Also, if you want to check out a nice little horror I’ve made a few months back, check out Dead Man’s Journey:
Once again! Thanks a bunch, and I’ll see you in the comments
That running animation though?
Let me start off by saying that the games mission was definitely fulfilled from just day 1.
If you didn’t know, Minds Eyes was created in order to get a better understanding of what features you all enjoy in a game (horror to be specific). Did you enjoy having collectibles? Interacting with objects, interacting with MORE objects, trigger pauses, subtle changes to the home itself, and more.
From the videos I’ve seen so far, I believe I am able to say with quite certainty what I will include In my main project.
- More interactions with the game.
- Potentially include some collectibles
- Puzzles / problem solving
- Drastically reducing “Aimlessly walking around for events to occur”
- Adding trigger paths which will trigger different events depending on where you are
- And more along the way
Let me say thank you to all the people who support this game and truly understand its main purpose. I really appreciate the reviews, especially the negative, since they are definitely the ones that help me improve. I cannot guarantee that you will all enjoy my upcoming game, but I can guarantee that it is a drastic jump from anything I’ve ever made before. With my university beginning soon, I will be consumed with my accounting classes, thus limiting me to development quite some bit. On the bright site, it will give me me lots of time to begin planning, and truly focus on some wonderful horror elements!
As for that running animation; I truly do apologize for that! I just had to leave that in, I couldn’t restrain myself from removing such majestic qualities.
